I have been trying to help Sarah (Gismo1554) get a faxed copy of her gift order. Since it has been a few hours since I called in and got her confirmation # and no fax, I thought I will call back to see what the deal was.

Well here goes, first I find out from the customer service person that the Disney fax system has been down for a week. When I asked why I was not told that in the first place, she did not know. Her explanation was that if Disney can not do things with "excellence" then they do not do them at all.

I was then offered to have an email sent which would take 4 - 7 working days. Since that seemed excessive even to her, she told me that this was as far as she could go but a supervisor could probably help me expedite this or help further. She then offered to transfer me to a supervisor which I was curious enough to let her transfer me.

I then spoke to a supervisor who told me that there was no estimated repair date for their fax system. Jessica then told me I could send an email to
dcl.reservations@disneycruise.com. I should include my reservation # and amenity confirmation # and what it is and what it says on the gift card etc. She said I should have an answer within two working days.

I've had a few updates come through that seem to be related to people forgetting to update their Transatlantic Pirate Website information. This is a small plea to please update it all. I'm going to do one final check against the website before I do the Final Final Version and I just wanna make sure everything is right on there! So please help me out with this one guys!

You should never feel shy here on this thread. People are very, very nice. I know there have been disagreements on the main boards of the DIS but not on this thread.

Please feel free to tell us all about yourself. It is sure easier to type for some than to meet in person. If you continue to talk to us in the next few weeks before the cruise, you will feel as if you know us all very well.

Brenda I hope none of us are ever mean because I do feel like everyone here is so nice and helpful and I hope I am just as helpful back. Can't wait to meet you all!

I have to admit, I don't read! My sister laughs at me as her and Mum get through like 10 books a holiday and me - unless its Harry Potter - I'm lucky if I get through 10 a decade! In fact the last book I read cover to cover was the last Harry Potter book. I just never find it that fun to do but envy people who read a lot! My brain works too fast for books I think because half way through I loose all interest lol. Still haven't finished Wicked yet and had the book for 4 years!

Hey guys. Just checking in. I gave up trying to keep up with all of you I think about 5 threads ago. Now I just lurk for a couple pages to be sure I'm not missing anything big.

Anyway today I realized that we are gonna be on the ship for all the fall premieres! Don't know if this has been shared/talked about yet... so here's the list in case you're interested. I wonder if they'll show all of these live, or if they'll air them later/earlier on ariel vision, etc?? Any thoughts or past experiences??? This is all depending on the satellite of course.

Since you ask about updates. I mentioned this yesterday but don't know if I should PM someone. On the Pirates Sailin' th' Trans-Atlantic the Strawberry FE has only 8 cabins noted, all of them have a cabin number assigned. On the Sept18 2010 WB TransAltlantic (this thread) on page 1, the Strawberry FE group has 14 cabins in it and most of them show GTY still. So I am listed on this thread but as GTY not 6606 but not on the Pirates web at all in the FE area.

My sweet DH is also dealing with medical and dental treatments over the next 2 weeks and I know how stressful that can be while getting ready for an awesome journey!

I love the HP books; have read all of them numerous times. And as for Wicked, I did finish it but it almost felt painful. I just don't know what the big deal is with that story. Not my thing, I guess .

We are Noel and John Birkner from Woodside, California. I am 59 and John is 66. This is our 4th DCL cruise but have cruised many times on other cruise lines.

Other DIS members I am sure will answer more of your questions, so let me give you some general information about our cruise thread.

Be sure you read page one for all the exciting things that are happening on this cruise. Here is a partial list.

1. PM DisneyVegas1 to see if there are any cruise shirts left. Here is the Link to what the the shirts look like. Last post I believe there was 1 AS. If that size don't work for you, you can print a copy of the logo from the transatlantic pirates site and make an iron on tee shirt
2. PM Buckeye Gal with your hotel and flight information, see post #9
3. Decide if you want Mickey Mouse shirts which some of us are wearing to dinner of Sept 28 and if you want to join us to order, see post #1
4. If you want to link your dining ressies, PM Mrs. Mork if you are early or PM Totally Angelic if you are late.
5. Sign up on the roll call and send your pictures to the our cruise website at Transatlantic Pirateswebsite.
6. PM Connie (Con5421) if you would like to purchase a lanyard pin. see post #6.
7. Let mdwoodman know, if you can join the HRC pre cruise meet on 17 September @ 1700. See Post 15.

OK everyone I think the "Final" Version of the Navigator is ready. I can still update things like errors or people's room numbers but the main bulk of the writing should be accurate. Obviously we still don't have tasting dates but I think the rest is ready and Penny has done her magic to create the printable versions. She is working on the Digital version for those wanting that but below are the versions. One of them is if you have a printer that can do Duplux prints and two are for those people with single sided printing where you need to reload the paper once you do one side.

Hi, I hope you are all doing well.

I got some pretty flowers from my co-workers today and wishes for a speedy recovery http://twitpic.com/2ip38w

I also got good news from my doctor they got the report from pathology and as suspected the cyst was not cancerous. It was the largest cyst that my Dr. and his partner who assisted with the surgery have ever seen and were very surprised I was not having more symptoms. They drained about 2 and a half gallons of fluid from it and it had lots of blood vessels to it and that is why they kept me overnight at the hospital.

I am doing alright. I have some abdominal pain. I thought I might have a uti so I am on am antibiotic for that and drinking lots of liquids.
