Maybe we could have our own informal DVC information session. I'd be happy to share our experience owning DVC as well. We've been members since 1998.
We bought one of our contracts on the cruise and got a great deal.

I'm not surprised about Westgate. David Segalhas been tightening his belt quite a bit lately, even selling his unfinished - what was it, 80,000 square feet
- home. His wife wanted to be an actress
, so he once bought her a movie to act in; my DW did the makeup for that one (don't look for it at Blockbuster - it didn't even make the "B" movie list!
). Interesting aside: every one of their children (5, if I remember correctly) has the same birthday as his; they deliberately arrange it that way.
We'll have to get together on board and have a little DVC frank and honest discussion. Just so noone is scared away, it can definitely be a great thing depending on what you want out of it as long as you know the whole truth going in.

I will totally take you up on that! We have a Westgate TS and would like to sell it as they are no longer working with Disney for the parks. We can do a cruise through them, but not at a great savings. They were in with the park hotels for all of 3 months when we bought, and of course, that was a big deal for us.
So, if the benefits were right and we could sell that, we are interested in the DVC... However, I want the good, the bad and the ugly upfront with this one...
An informal DVC discussion would be great......
