The Mickey Ears are all spoken for....PJ, Paula, Corinna and Jason will all be wearing Golden 50th anniversary Mickey ears!

I got our jewelry kits.

I'm doing alright, my abdominal muscles are pretty sore but I know it could be worse.

I hope you are all doing well.

I hope you get some good rest, Becky. Did they at least give you some good meds to help w/the pain?

....I got home from cheerleading tonight (last night before the trip...THANK HEAVENS!! What an exhausting summer!!) and I have a letter informing me I have been summoned for Jury duty beginning on Sept. 20th! :lmao: now that is one more thing I have to deal with before the trip....have to call them tomorrow and let them know there's no chance! :rotfl2:

Their timing is impeccable! The same thing happened to me a couple of year ago. It's a pain to have to deal w/but at least they tend to be pretty reasonable about it as long as you're willing to work w/them.

Mandy, how is Becca doing? You and she have been on my mind lately. I've also got a daughter who is suffering in the same way. It's just torture when you know there's not a lot you can do besides giving them your love and support. Hang in there; it will get better.

Thank you Melodie for the nice compliment. However, just for clarification, my name is Noel!!

 I knew that!!! Don't know what I was thinking or what my fingers were doing when they typed that message!!! :rotfl2: I am so sorry. Nothing like giving someone a compliment and not even getting their name written correctly. Noel Noel Noel - see I knew that!!!

Glad do hear you are doing okay but hope things improve for you quickly. :grouphug:

Thank you.

Let's see: hem pants, make pirate vest, restock medicine cabinet, select meal type on airline, distribute emergency contact info to grandparents/neighbors, finish FE gifts, MAKE FE!!!!, fix hole in suitcase, sit down with 2 DSs to go over what's expected of them while we're gone, split up FE gifts between different suitcase piles, pick up new glasses, work on villians outfit, find box for tiara, do laundry, PACK, relax, breathe.........

:cutie:

My! You were busy!!!

Does anyone know if TinkRules and QueenMum are joining us? They are signed up for the strawberry FE, but are still listed as GTY. I'm trying to finalize my personalized FE gift and need to get them done soon, but without their names I can't do theirs.

Sadly no rooms with verandahs left for them.

Hello! This is Fedex Lina. Thank you, we appreciate your business. Have a wonderful vacation!

And you do a wonderful job!!:thumbsup2

In the 1960's we called them "hot pants".
HotPantsMiniSkirt.jpg

I had hot pants but we wore them with short short dresses. Also wore what we called petty pants. I had a pair of black ones with black tassels along the edges so when you sat down in your short skirt the tassles showed. We really thought we were something in the late 60s and early 70s, maybe we were. val

I had both hot pants and petty pants also. And yes, we really WERE something. :thumbsup2:cool2::rotfl2::lmao::laughing:

Its always the things you dont expect ...LOL ours was we had to have a Visa for Tunis and you get hit with Jury Duty .....

I am sure they will excuse you without any issues

I am Adventures by Disney on the Med cruise and my understanding is that they fill up your day with ABD, too....you get up and off early and get back to the ship right about dinner time.....so i don't think I'll be much help in terms of shopping for you, either.

However...I did want to offer that if you can find someone who is on the Med cruise but is NOT a B2B person...and that person is willing to buy it for you in tunis and then give it to me and jason, we could hold onto it for you until you get aboard on the WBTA. Not as much help, I know...but thought I'd at least offer.

I am sure somebody can buy this for her. my plans are not formed yet for Tunis, except for the Bardo Museum.

Calling all back to back cruisers

Johanna kindly responded to my plea last time round, but due to the duration of the excursion she is doing, she is unlikely to be able to help me. So I thought I place another call out.

At the port at Tunis, there is a wonderful little shop and I could still kick myself that I did not buy something when I was there. I am just wondering if somebody could get this for me. I am happy to Paypal the money, send you Amazon gift certificates or if you are happy to let me have your full name, reservation number and cabin number, add it to your onboard account for the Med cruise. If somebody could help me, you would really make my day.

Corinna

I don't understand, aren't you on the Med cruise? What's the item you want. I am sure I'll have time to shop for you. If I don't then I can find somebody to do it. So what is it? Connie

Good morning all! While you are all packing, I've done some unpacking: I'm reading the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon (published in the UK as 'Cross Stitch' I think) and just eating it up. I had to go get the 5th book out of my carry-on, as I am enjoying it so much! I still have the 6th book packed, and Tru has the 7th book packed - hopefully that will be enough. Anyone else like this book series?
.

My friend, Susan, who is on the Med cruise only, absolultely loves that series! I have read a couple, but not the whole series. She is a big Sci-Fi reader, and when my son was home, she saw one of his books and had to run right out and get it for the trip. That's what's nice about sci-fi, it's not gender and age specific!

My daughter just ended her 8 month stint as a college program cast member. She and all her friends were so sad about it all ending. (Can't feel too sorry, as she is off to Hawaii to continue college!) They had the time of their lives. She got red roses from one of them today, and a couple of others drove up from Orlando to visit for a couple of days. I wish I could've had that experience as a college student. So jealous, but happy for her. She's now seasonal and will work when she is off school.

I LOVED my time as a CP! I made life-long friends who I cherish! It was such an amazing experience and I tell all college aged Disney fans to do the program.

Just wanted to say a very BIG thank you to everyone who has sent their good wishes to Becky (and I). Hopefully all these bucket loads of pixie dust will soon start to work their magic.....

:grouphug:

:littleangel:

(((Hugs))) I hope the magic will start working soon.

I am so glad I have some book buddies. Between you and Corrina, if I finish, I am more than happy to share. I would LOVE to keep all the books I read, but unfortunately I don't. I figure they are better off with someone else who will get just as much enjoyment rather than on my shelf looking pretty. Do you have a fave of his. I always liked Honeymoon and Lifeguard, but the Women's Murder Club is my fave series!

I don't know if you have heard of or read his "Maximum Ride" series, but the premises is rather similar. The book is all about winged children, who even have the same names as the ones in the "Maximum Ride" books. He claims that the Maximum Ride series is not based on "When The Wind Blows", but some of the back story of the Maximum Ride books is remarkably close to "When The Wind Blows". There is also a sequel called 'The Lake House", which is also a fantastic book.

Corinna

I enjoy James Patterson also. I've read most of the Women's Murder Club books but I must say I LOVED "When the Wind Blows" and "The Lake House" - I mean LOVED LOVED LOVED them. I went to college for English/professional writing and there are a few books that have really grabbed me and made me want to write a book that is captivating - Those books were two on my list. The others are the entire "Flowers in the Attic" series (I know, strange and twisted books, but for some reason I couldn't put the series down) and "Jemima J" by Jane Green.

I hope you pass w/o problems! What kind of car is it?
My car is a 2002 Honda Civic. It passed with one problem - BRAKES! LOL!!!!! I needed new brakes...what can I say? :lmao:

I did a few things for the cruise today - actually my mom did most of the work! She found my FE, my Disney D&B clutch as well as a bunch of other things that I need for the cruise. I'm slowly but surely getting ready...I can't believe we leave in three weeks. It doesn't seem possible!

Corinna,

PM me - not sure what my plans are but I can look. I always make time for some shopping. Let me know what you want and I will absolutely try to pick it up for you. We are not doing a DCL excursion so we should have time. With my son on here - he will not let me come back to the ship with less than 1 hr to go before all aboard time. The drawback to a neurotic man-boy.

I wont go on the power plate my fat wobbles too much and its just embaresing.:confused3

:lmao::rotfl2: I weeble and I wobble but I continue to run. That would be me also BTW, but at least now I can keep up with some of the young ones. :teeth:

So disappointed....just realized that we never received our shirts from Zazzle (and I even did research to find Marc's Mickey Mouse Club number!). I had actually forgotten about them until I saw the posting about the night that they would be worn to dinner. They were shipped to my sister-in-law's PO box in San Diego but they weren't in the things we picked up when we were there this past weekend. (We did get the Pirate shirts, though! Thanks, Todd!)

Too late to have them reshipped down here to Mexico and have to pay duty on top of it, plus the additional cost for new shirts. Reminder to self - From here on out, PAY for the delivery that includes tracking!!!!

We'll be hanging our heads low the day y'all wear yours. :sad1:

Michael
That sucks

I got our jewelry kits.

Me too, there is such a bunch of posers in the gym.......... at least out running it just me and the dog:rolleyes1

Well...looking at the map of the ship, it looks like Jason and I are awfully close to the Deck 6 laundry room...although I doubt we qualify as celebrities....but I promise not to request they shut it down on this trip (unless of course they shut it down for my private use since I am bringing about a week's worth of clothes for a month-long vacation...so we will need to do laundry at least twice on the B2B...so if they'll close it and let me use it then all bets are off! :lmao:)

I hope that if you do get private use you remember you Dis friends so we can use it too lol!

I was visiting Stephanie and we were watching TV and a commercial came on about Terry Fator and he was coming to our area and we got so excited cause we really want to see him. So at the same time we said, lets go see him. He is in our area on,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Sept 18!!!! Lets see,,,,cruise or Terry Fator...........that is a no brainer:lmao:

I wont go on the power plate my fat wobbles too much and its just embaresing.:confused3

Isn't that what is supposed to do? ;)I think even the most toned person will wobble!!!!:lmao:

I also figure no one will be looking at me (we more mature princesses don't register on anyone's radar except for our more mature princes :rotfl: and thank heavens for that!!!)

I'm not even 100% sure my mature prince will notice me!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Good morning everyone .... I am so behind wth these posts now I doubt if I will ever catch up :sad2::sad2::sad2: Work is really getting in the way right now !!!
