OK bite the bullet and booked with EasyJet so now have 2 flights to Barcelona!

Anyone know how far in advance I need to cancel BA to be able to get any money back at all? I've searched their website and can see nothing! I feel I may have to raise a question to their customer services!

If you have a tasting and you want me to get that one on the list with DCL please PM me. I will be scheduling with them in early August.

Calling all tasters!!!
To book a private tasting with DCL we need cabin assignments or ressie number if your are a GTY status. This is becasue all of our tastings are PRIVATE and non refundable. I am updating the lists to include cabin number for those that are on my other lists, or have one in roll call. If you don't have a cabin number listed, can you please PM me your cabin or ressie number so I can get it all organized. (new lists will be posted today)

Also - what about time of day for tasting? Does 4pm work for everyone? Is there a better time? I am hoping to book something each day (maybe not the day of ladies tea as that could be Champaign Girl day as well?) so if you have an opinion please let me know!

My Dear Sue, you don't have to stress about a tiara and boa.....I am bringing extras! Nobody will be without! Just have a pink shirt to wear for the photo....I'll have shutters come down and take a group photo.

We can have a pre meet meet in the lobby! I emailed them in the hopes that one of the parger rooms had opened up, but no joy. So then I asked them to put a note in our ressie that we required our 2 rooms to be right next door from eachother - or directly across the hall... They replied that they would try... So, be warned - if you are next to one of our rooms and the other is way down the hall, we may beg for a room swap... I really hope that they can work it out so I don't have to...

What are parger rooms?

Wayne is very much the same, but I couldn't get him to try stuff on, no way. I swear, if it wasn't for me, he'd be walking around in his birthday suit . (Yes, I even buy his shoes.) The only clothing he's ever bought would be the suits he used to wear to work. Since then they've gotten much more casual, so it's Docker's and such.

Just need to add to any worried people that it is BAA which run some of the major airports that are threatening strike action, not BA, though they could follow suit anyway, who knows?

These airports are London Heathrow, London Stansted, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Southampton. Our flights to Barcelona goes from Heathrow!!!

I think you can put as much as you can in the hand baggage, as long as you can lift it into the overhead lockers yourself. Unfortunately it can't be all the heavy toiletries though which would have been ideal. Shoes, trousers, jumpers.

I have decided not to take any tolietries from home .... will buy in Barcelona. I just can't afford the weight. Will will be cramming our carry-ons with heavy stuff, shoes, pirate boots, hair straighteners, chargers etc.

Ideally I do not want more than 10 people so that leaves 2 more spaces. Just to confirm, you will be making three items each that you will take home: a cellphone charm, a necklace and either a keychain or bag charm. I will be looking into getting materials over the weekend. So I need to know two things. Would you rather make a bag charm or a keychain? For the necklace, would you rather go with the colours of the ship or the Villain's theme?

I would go for the bag charm and the villains colours, but will be happy with either. I have been having a go at making bag charms and keyrings lately but they are terribly unprofessional. It will be great to learn how to do it properly.

I got my EBTA scrapbook done and wanted to share the link with anyone who might want to take a look! This is a public link on facebook so everyone can see it! I did not put my pictures of Mederia in there as I will put it in the scrapbook of this Cruise because we did not do an excursion. My next step is to finish setting up the book for this cruise so all I have to do is plop my pictures in EACH night on the cruise and have a finished product when I get home!

Well I would wear the heaviest clothing that you will be taking, and the heavier shoes too. So, trainers rather than the smart heeled sandals!!!

There are at least two different HOHO companies in Barcelona. We used Barcelona Bus Turístic and were pleased with this.

Thanks for sharing about the HOHO buses. My questions, to those who have been to Barcelona, would you prefer the HOHO buses or getting a Barcelona card (the card gives you free access to all city transport and suburban trains)??

Also, is there a City Pass available for attractions in Barcelona? We've found City Passes to be the best way to economically see all the museums and site. We loved using it in Seattle (even though my hubby is from there).

By the way, I'm doing my best to keep up with people on this board, but I'm failing miserably this go-around. Gotta work to make the $$ for the trip . ..LOL But I can't wait to meet y'all!
