TAKE WHAT YOU CAN!!!!

pirate:

The shirts are awesome!! I can't wait.

Thanks for the update. I was concerned on seat arraignments. Delta has 2 seats on each side of many middle seats. Air France planes has 3 seat 4 seat 3 seat plane confiquration. Since I have 2 seats selected, didn't want another person in the aisle seat, if we are on an Air France plane. Hope that makes sense. :confused3;)

Walt :cool1:

Walt

It's Delta flight 114 / Air France flight 3607. It's operated by Delta, on Delta metal...a 767-400. Therefore, no worries on the seating as it's 2-3-2.

Hi everyone! I am new to the thread and the discusson! This is going to be my first TA....I just wanted to say hello and intoduce myself, I am Tara.

I'm so glad you came over and introduced yourself, Tara! Welcome!!

....Hey Kimberly, I brought that movie up in May, but I realize it was too early then. I bet that will be the movie we see. It looks pretty good. What do you think?

Oh I have to admit I missed seeing you post that. Sorry!

I think it looks like it's worth seeing. I can't say that I would have been lining up to see it at full-price at the movie theater though. :-) It does seem to have some good humor in it, so I'll be there at one point or another! popcorn::

I thought that they premeired movies at midnight the first day that they would show in the US - someone please correct me if I am wrong... I really want to see Sorcerer's Apprentice, so I hope it is showing!......

That's my understanding as well.

I also want to see Sorcerer's Apprentice! I think it's at the T-30 date that we can call and get the scoop on what will be showing. I've never been one to want to sit and watch a movie during a cruise, but that's the beauty of this long cruise....you can make the time much more easily!

.....We went to Denver on Friday and returned today. Had a wonderful time visiting relatives and celebrating a 91st birthday. We went to Rocky Mountain National Park....We also went to the Celesteal Seasons tea plant.....

Welcome home! It sounds like a great trip to me!! If you took any and have time to share, I would love to see a picture or two of RMNP!

...Going to AAU Junior Olympics in track...Southern Regionals. Third time for DGD (9) in 800 meters and 1500 meters; this year, she placed first in both events at regionals. DGS first time in Discus throwing. Diane and I are very proud of their accomplishments.....

That's awesome!! Congrats to both of them!!! :cloud9: I think it's fantastic that you're taking the time to go watch them perform!

You guys have been busy the last few days. We went to Denver on Friday and returned today. Had a wonderful time visiting relatives and celebrating a 91st birthday. We went to Rocky Mountain National Park so I can cross off another National Park from my life goal of visiting every National Park before I die. We also went to the Celesteal Seasons tea plant and learned a lot about tea.

I will have to catch up tomorrow after a good night's sleep and a hard day of returning to work.

Wow! You came the hottest weekend to come visit us in Denver! My husband ran a triathalon on Saturday and it was 102 here! He said it was so hard since it was so hot. Where is Celesteal Seasons tea plant? I've never been there before. We've had family in town this past week and we are headed back to Indiana this coming week for a wedding. This is the last time the kids are traveling before the cruise (me and dh are going to do a mini trip to Albuquerque next month). So, my dd is getting really excited! We are below the 60 day mark on the countdown chain. Well, glad to hear everyone is doing well. Can't wait to get our t-shirts. It will become even more real then!

Thank you to all of you who gave me encouraging words about Barcelona. I had them all multiquoted and my Internet shut down and I lost all of them. :(

I know there was a newcomer in there somewhere - welcome!

What an awesome idea!

got ours from Overstock.com and with shipping it was less than $30USD. I got the laptop one since I tend to pack like I'm going to ge stranded on an island.

Is the laptop bag really big? I was thinking about getting one for DH since we want to bring along our portable DVD player.

My sister is leaving on a Royal Carribean Cruise on Thursday - and although it's not Disney, I am jealous. I would love to escape reality for a couple of days - looking for jobs/not having many jobs out there to be found is really taking a toll on me. I'll be very happy once we're on board the Magic - then I'll be able to relax, even if it's just for a few weeks.

:rotfl2: well if you found those 5....maybe you'd like a few more?:rotfl: Sorry, hope your calf is better soon!
Sorry not currently willing to receive any more lost pounds (unless we are talking the money).

Hope your calf is feeling better soon, don't worry about the 5 pounds, it will drop off when you can walk home again.

Thanks! After my 2nd session it already felt 75% better. Like all things it is this last 25% that is going to be hard, especailly when I end up running for the bus or twist my ankle walking on the sidewalk. I will just need to have more massages on the ship if it bothers me.

Oh I hope Beth has an amazing time! She must be super excited!

I hear ya about the unemployment. My benefits for Tier 1 ran out last week (well, I actually had a balance of <$20 for this week), so I was really glued to the news channels today waiting to hear if the Senate passed the extension. This evening I saw that the Bill passed in the Senate with a vote of 60-40, which is the minimum margin needed. Hopefully it will get its final stamp from the Senate Wednesday. The House is expected to pass it without concern (knocking on wood!). I was let go a little more than 13 months ago and have been on unemployment for almost a year. It's really stressful. I'm VERY thankful that I have this cruise to look forward to in order to escape reality!

Glad it's already feeling better, Johanna! Try to nurture it as much as you can, but "oh what a shame" if you need more massages. :-)

Would you people please stop posting so much? I'm travelling for work this week, and had to stay up too late to catch up on all I missed from not paying you any attention today! :)

Actually, I believe there's a switch that turns off the A/C whenever the door is opened.
I couldn't remember. But then again, the only verandahs I've had have been suites!

PACKING REMINDER FOR NON-EUROPEANS STAYING IN BARCELONA....

Don't forget to pack a Europlug Adapter so your electronics and appliances such as hairdryers can be plugged in at your hotel.
I'm still debating what I want signed. I think I want a photo mat signed by only the Princesses as well as a cookbook. Still undecided though.
I was actually going to ask about the adapters. I'm sure it's written on them somewhere (once I find them) but exactly which one will we need for Barcelona? The little two round prongy thingy? Or the really big three plug thingy?

Apart from pillowslips and photo frames, what else do people get autographed by the characters? :goodvibes

Cheers

On the signatures, I've done t-shirts, pillowcases, and photomats. I've also had pictures taken and purchased on the ship autographed by the characters (or princesses) directly. The photomats are by far my favorite! Others have done tote bags, character merchandise, hats, and other stuff I'm sure.

would the characters sign things like tote bags? or even an apron or similar? but not a tea towel it would be just wrong to dry dishes with Minnie or even a princess...
they could be different ideas that you could get a lot of use out of.
At one point in time I thought they restricted the character signed items to gifts for kids, so I've stayed away from strict adult items, but that could just be feedback from anal DISers. But I realized after our 1st cruise that our t-shirt was too stretchy, and seemed to give them a hard time in being autographed, so I have tried to focue on things that are easier to sign (photo mats, tight woven items like pillowcases). So avoiding a towel would be a good thing!

I AM NOW OFFICIALLY BOOKED ON THE 10 DAY MED CRUISE. I AM NOW OFFICIALLY A B2B'ER

:banana::dance3::yay::woohoo::cool1::banana:

Ok more details to follow, got to fly to the school and clear something up.

Be back later.
Congratulations! I tried to talk FIL/MIL into doing the B2B, since the prices were so incredibly cheap on that last med cruise, but alas that was too much for them. I'm just a wee bit jealous at those of you who'll be on the ship for so long. And now you're that much closer to your cruise!

I have booked (purchased) tickets for the "SkyWalk Combo" which includes:

•Cable Car ticket (options single or return and child or adult)
•Multimedia Tour (hand held guide included in adult ticket only and for use exclusively within the Cable Car Top Station)
•Apes (The apes are wild animals and roam freely throughout the Upper Rock area. However they are usually seen at both the Cable Car Top and Middle Station otherwise known as Apes Den.)
•Nature Reserve entrance ticket - Entrance to: St Michael's Cave, Great Siege Tunnels, City Under Siege Exhibition, Moorish Castle and 100 Ton Gun. (this ticket must be redeemed at the Cable Cart ticket office BEFORE entering any of the sights.) The Nature Reserve ticket must be used on the same day as the Cable Car ticket, see below.)
•FREE Gibraltar Bus Pass (adult or child one day bus pass). This must be collected from the Gibraltarinfo kiosk on the Spanish side of the Gibraltar/Spanish land frontier.

(Note that the Bus Pass isn't really worthwhile, since we won't be going to the land frontier. However, cruise ships normally provide shuttle buses or it's only £1 each for the public bus.)

Tickets were £17.50 each (plus £1 I assume for booking on line). I paid in USD, so it was $52.84 total (within 4 cents of the xe.com rate).
Great information! Thanks for sharing it. Did you mention who you booked that combo ticket through? Any link for the lazy/overworked??

Cruise Shirts Arrrr Here !!
Shirts look great! Thanks!! Did the logo ever get posted on the webpage? I've looked for it a few times, but don't see it.

I'm looking at the Pacsafe's right now...but they are so expensive! I may just bite the bullet and buy one though...we'll see...

So far I've looked at Amazon, Overstock.com and Ebay. I'm still looking though...
Overstock has a few, and bing cashback had been offering 40% cashback for Overstock as recently as a few days ago. But the prices on the PS website seemed pretty good, though I didn't look at shipping.

IF ANYONE ELSE WANTS TO JOIN US, PLEASE LET ME KNOW NOW We will be requesting LAP rotation, which will put us in Parrot's Cay on pirate night, with the Captain and mates.

I plan to send in the list by the end of this week, so please speak up if you want to join us. PM to me. :surfweb:

Another note: we only have a couple of children in this group - well, one child (7) and one young lady (13) and yukongirl's young man.
Hi there. I didn't realize this was going to be a adult group (though that is the course of the crusie in general.) We have two smallish kids in our group (6.5 and 3.5) that you've overlooked. I know DCL likes to keep the LAP rotation more kidless or for older children. We be glad to drop out of the linked early dining group. (We have 6 anyway, so we're a little mini group.)

OK I had to share because I'm so excited!

The exam results came out today and somehow I managed to only fail 1 of the exams rather than all 3 like I thought I had! I'm still in complete shock over it all! I honestly was expecting to resit them all but only have to resit 1 next year!
Congratulations! Retaking 1 is so much easier than multiple ones. I'm sure you're glad to have the 2 behind you. Did you tell us what exams they were?
I remember taking the CPA exam a month or two after getting a serious concussion in a car accident, and drawing a complete blank on one part of the subject matter (that we'd covered in the week or two after the accident) and that was no fun, especially since the accident was caused by a drunk driver and out of our control.

Hi everyone! I am new to the thread and the discusson! This is going to be my first TA. I am a little nervous that with 6 days at sea my husband and I (no kids) at going to go a little crazy. Can anyone tell me anything special about the TAs and what they just love to do one them?

But I just wanted to say hello and intoduce myself, I am Tara.
Welcome! I'm sure you'll have fun (as long as you have money to cover spa treatments, tastings, bingo and other activities.) We actually have 8 days at sea, not 6, on this journey, though there are 5 XL days in a row (gain an hour each day) across the ocean.

ok - I just noticed that I am almost at 1000 posts!! Seeing that most of those have been in this meet thread, I think I definitely have a DISorder...

Just call me chatty Cathy... :lmao::lmao::lmao:
As I read this post, your post count was at exactly 1000 posts. Congratulations!

All Hands on Deck Cheese Platter (A selection of international cheeses served with crackers)
BLT
These two are my favorites!! I love to get the cheese plate with extra brie and crackers. And the BLT is my secret late night indulgence after the kids have gone to bed! I was very disappointed when we sailed on the Wonder for the first time in January that they didn't have brie, and the whole cheese assortment was different. Hopefully that's not a cost cutting change on the Magic as well (we'd just sailed on the Magic 3 weeks prior to sailing on the Wonder, so there wasn't a long time inbetween.) Any recent cruisers have an update on the cheese plate to report??

Thanks for posting - I don't think the rice crispy treats are available anymore though - they are selling them in the stores now...

Linda, thank you for the list.

I have a weakness for the little mickey rice crispy treats, to know this is not a good thing, lol. But if it is left over flip flop treats from the CC gifts, they can keep them, eek!

Pj
I'd heard you could still get the rice crispy treats from room service (though I haven't ordered them myself) as recently as our January cruise. And I agree, the flip flops do not do it for me. Too much food coloring used to make the colored flipflop for me! After trying them for the 1st time on our Dec cruise, we didn't even bother with them on our January cruise.

Looking forward to meeting you! Are the Delta and Air France flights the same flight? :confused3 I've booked on Delta to Europe before and it turned out to be an Air France flight.

Andrea
Sorry we won't be travelling together from the Dulles area, but glad to hear you're flying with some others!

Thanks Alex...

How wonderful! I especially like the really, really, really big lead she has!!

No, no, no!! We are not an adult only group! We love interacting with all ages. I'm not sure why I did not have kids in your group,:confused3 but I do have you noted as a group of 6 at your own table, but in the same area as the DIS group. DCL will not deny us LAP because there are a few younger kids in the group. With yours that makes 3.

So sorry I haven't been posting for a couple of days, you wouldn't believe the last couple of days i have had! Let me start with a little background. My mum has been in a relationship with a man for about 4-5 years, she left him about 6 months ago.

So sorry to hear this. Hugs to your Mum and I hope it works out for her. He deserves to be locked up for a very long time! I'm glad she is safe though - who knows what else he might have done...?

I'm actually looking for information from someone that posted about arranging their transportation from the airport to the hotel and prepaying. I didn't see that information posted on page one - just the information from Stephen on the transportation from the hotel to the port. If I missed it, can you direct me to the post number?

My mistake - the transport Stephen is arranging is just hotel to port in Barcelona - I don't recall seeing any airport to hotel arrangements. Serves me right for skimming.

Some questions for those who have been to Gibraltar before.
The taxis out in the port. Do they take you where you want to go, or have they set tours?
The caves. Can you see these on the same tour as the rock?
Is it better to do the DCL tours, organise one of your own, or just go and get a taxi from the line?
What is best to see for a first and probably only visit?

Will "self guided" tours of the tunnels give historical information about the area? When I read that, it seems like a silly question...but I'm not sure how to phrase it. :confused3 We are history buffs..... Should we take a DCL tour with a guide that will give information and answer questions, or are there people available in the tunnel and museum to do that? I guess what I am trying to say is that we not only want to see the sites, but want to know what we are looking at.

We are planning to do pretty much exactly what MrWoodman has posted (copy below). The Disney excursions IMO are too expensive for what you get, we are doing all ports independently of DCL.

I'm hoping the audio guides will be sufficient to tell us everything we need to know.

The average high temp for October in Orlando is 85ºf / 29.5ºc
The average low temp is 66ºf / 18.5ºc
As we get back at the beginning of the month, you can expect the daily temps to be a couple of degrees warmer than the average.

Its not so much WDW that will be cool but our DL stop off on the way home....

Here's some info about arriving in Gibraltar on a cruise ship:

"Getting to Gibraltar as you know can take place in any number of ways, but arriving by cruise ship leaves little room for doubt about the reasons to visit Gibraltar.

The arrival of the cruise ship in Gibraltar's harbors is nothing short of spectacular, with views of the lighthouse, the Mosque and other splendid sights as you travel though.

Gibraltar is small but packs an incredible amount of interesting and amusing things into an area that is less than the size of many cities. Rising up to an amazing 1300 feet in the air the cliffs are at times nearly sheer, unscalable, and offers, depending on which way you may be looking, views of Morocco, Spain, or the delights of Gibraltar.

Making your way into the Bay of Gibraltar on a cruise ship offers you a vantage point of the delights of Gibraltar that you might not otherwise get. Seeing so much of Gibraltar at one time, viewed from the outside, looking in as it were.

Shops line the streets which are apparent to the Gibraltar cruise ship occupant even from this distance, and the rumors that you've heard about duty free shopping are all true, an excellent reason to come ashore. Not that you need any other reasons to come ashore, with the cable car, the beautiful floral gardens, the Mosque and light house, the caves, the gun, and the amazing history of Gibraltar waiting for you at the end of your sail through the harbor, all displayed in perfect detail as you enter the bay.

Getting to Gibraltar via a cruise ship can be a delightful experience. Offering you a sampler of the multiple things to see and do as you pass, Gibraltar cruise ships are the best way to enter this amazing area, full of history and mystery.

Don't forget to look down as you come into harbor. You may find yourself amused by the antics of a pod of dolphins or amazed by whales playing as you pass.

Take advantage of them all when your cruise ship docks in Gibraltar."

I know I've seen your screen name on roll calls and threads. Let's be sure to meet this time.

Woody

Don't do it... before you know it, she'll be stalking you on Facebook and encouraging you to make rude and unseemly status updates! I simply had a chat with her after lunch on the EBPC and my life has never been the same again!

You mean... Ive cruised with both of you too???:lmao::cool1:
Dh and I did the 2005 WBPC with one of our friends from HS and her DH and his BF. Man... we had a blast!
It's a small world after all....
come everyone join in singing....:rotfl2:

hmmmm ... now I have to make a list of everyone Ive cruised with:thumbsup2

Annie:laundy:

Well thanks... look what you started... I'm never going to get it out of my head now! :rotfl:

They can have the spanx - NOT THE PASSPORT!

I wonder if putting your passport into your spanx would make it pick pocket proof? :rotfl2:

We are also child free and find that those pesky port days get in the way of our activities! Seriously, there is so much going on that you will be spoilt for choice.

Hoping my new passport arrives soon - the cheque has been banked so I'm guessing the photo was ok. Its hideous and looks nothing like me but I'm guessing after a 33 hour flight to Barcelona, it will be the spitting image :lmao:

Hi and welcome.

Our kids are back in school in 2 weeks, so I am crazy busy getting supplies, back to school clothes, etc. Once they are in and cheer and baseball both get to a normal schedule, I will get back on track...

Our schools only finish this week and have about 6 weeks. I think Scotland and Northern Ireland have already finished and they go back before ours. Seems funny to think of schools going back soon. Better though for taking them out of school in September, as I always think it is a bad time when they have only just started back, or even miss the start of the new school year.

My sister is leaving on a Royal Carribean Cruise on Thursday - and although it's not Disney, I am jealous. To you two, sorry about the unemployment. It can be a bit soul destroying job hunting, and also seeing the benefits dropping too. Difficult times in many places worldwide, here included. So glad you can make this cruise and have some real fun and relaxation!!!:grouphug:

:welcome: on board, Tara. I am Corinna and I am travelling with my DH Graham. We are a childless couple from the UK. This will be our longest cruise yet. We did a 5 night cruise on the Magic and a 4 night cruise on the Wonder in 2008, a 7 night Western Caribbean cruise on the Magic last year and an 11 night Med cruise on the Magic earlier this year. The Med cruise was very port intensive and I am looking forward to the slower pace of the Transatlantic. I love sea days, so I will be in my element.

I was actually going to ask about the adapters. I'm sure it's written on them somewhere (once I find them) but exactly which one will we need for Barcelona? The little two round prongy thingy? Or the really big three plug thingy?

Barcelona has sockets for plugs with two round prongs.

I have started on my jewellery for Villains Night. The bracelet is finished and I am pleased with this. The necklace is about half done as most of the purple crystals are on backorder, but it looks like this might work out as well. Here is a photo of the bracelet:

For some reason the purple crystals look almost pink in the photo, but they are a gorgeous Tanzanite shade.

Saw TOY STORY 3 tonight (only open in the UK yesterday) thought it was great, but i didn't cry... i must have a heart of stone :rotfl:

If you've not seen it yet GO SEE IT

WE're going on Friday ... I can't wait :yay: I can guarantee if there is any crying to be done in the film it will be me doing it :sad1::sad1::sad1:

Lovely bracelet Corinna. You are very creative and talented :thumbsup2

After the few days we've had, I thought a day of catching up with friends and shopping was in order. So I met up with my girlfriends for a long leisurely breakfast until 11:30, then did some shopping. Bought some swimwear, tops and leggings for the girls, some shorts and wait for it..................a formal dress for me, YAY!!! So, it was a wonderful day all round :cool1:

So, sorry to hear that your mom has gone through this.
Thanks Jon :)

Hayley - so glad to know you are a close knit family and taking care of one another. Tell your mom to pack a bag and join us on the cruise!

Mum is actually going to America for a few weeks in September with 5 of her close girlfriends. The girls go somewhere together every year, no husbands or boys allowed. They have been all over Europe, some of Asia, a couple of cruises, etc...There is usually 7 of them, all in thier 50's and 60's, they call themselves "secret 7". They have a blast, and it is just what she needs. We are hoping to meet up with her in Florida. :thumbsup2

Thanks - she is very excited about a new dress that no one will have seen. She doesn't get that no one has seen the others either... :: sigh :: Oh to be 6 again...

Love it, that is adorable! :cutie:

Now there is a thought. The closest I have come is getting a free body composition analysis for taking part in a spinning class on the Magic.
Ooohh, I have always wanted to try a spin class! Anyone up for one with me? Corinna, can I entice you?

OMG that sound like something awful that would happen on a TV show not to a real person. Thank goodness your mum is ok. These mean people make a living doing horrible things and are very good at it so you certainly shouldn't feel foolish at being tricked.

I know, It still doesn't seem real, then I drive past the house, or where the house was, and I know it's real! He'll get whats coming to him, Karma sucks! :goodvibes

Hi Tara, welcome. I am Hayley, travelling with DH, and 2 DD's 8 & 9, but I am hoping to be childfree for a lot of the time at sea. Fingers crossed the girls like the kids club?

ok - I just noticed that I am almost at 1000 posts!! Seeing that most of those have been in this meet thread, I think I definitely have a DISorder...

Just call me chatty Cathy...
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I thought our Captain for this trip was Capt. Dave? Is it Thor? If it is, I would definitely take the picture! Welcome Tara! Great to have you onboard. 6 days at sea will be so much fun, you will run out of time.
So, have we got the good Captain, or the not so good Captain? :confused3

Will be traveling thru Georgia at the end of month. Going to AAU Junior Olympics in track held in Norfolk Virgina, Aug 2 thru 8th. DGD and DGS are participating from the Southern Regionals. Third time for DGD (9) in 800 meters and 1500 meters; this year, she placed first in both events at regionals. DGS first time in Discus throwing. Diane and I are very proud of their accomplishments.
And you should be proud! That is fantastic :thumbsup2

Thanks! After my 2nd session it already felt 75% better. Like all things it is this last 25% that is going to be hard, especailly when I end up running for the bus or twist my ankle walking on the sidewalk. I will just need to have more massages on the ship if it bothers me.

Oh, What a pity, more massages.......is my sarcasm coming across in my typing, coz...it's there? :goodvibes

So sorry to hear this. Hugs to your Mum and I hope it works out for her. He deserves to be locked up for a very long time! I'm glad she is safe though - who knows what else he might have done...?

I wonder if putting your passport into your spanx would make it pick pocket proof? :rotfl2:

Hoping my new passport arrives soon - the cheque has been banked so I'm guessing the photo was ok. Its hideous and looks nothing like me but I'm guessing after a 33 hour flight to Barcelona, it will be the spitting image

Hey Paula, I'm surprised you haven't seen it. It's been making all the national news and morning shows. The evidence is so damning there is no way he will get away with it.

Great idea, Passport in the Spanx, although I really don't know if anything else will fit in there!

After your 33 and my 34 we will probably look like something out of the Muppets, I'm guessing Sweetums -

I have started on my jewellery for Villains Night. The bracelet is finished and I am pleased with this. The necklace is about half done as most of the purple crystals are on backorder, but it looks like this might work out as well. Here is a photo of the bracelet:
Your bracelet is gorgeous, I would love to be able to make jewellery. Good onya! :thumbsup2

Once you get started it is actually quite addictive. I had not done any exercise at all from when I left school until last December, but I actually really enjoy going to the gym. Having said that, I probably won't spend much time in the gym on the Magic. I used it for the first time on the Med cruise and found it way too warm. Our gym at home is much cooler and that is what I am used to. It is also really hard to walk past the Rainforest Room on the way to the gym and not to say "hi" to the heated tile loungers.
Corinna

I agree, it is addictive! I've not yet used the gym onbaord but am determined to this time :cool1: (unless those pesky heated loungers entice me away):rolleyes1

:banana::dance3::yay: Ok, let's go!!

:woohoo::woohoo:

hi Tara!:) Glad you came over here to say hello. I'm Mandy & my dh is Mark and we cruise without children too, this will be our 5th DCL cruise. I'm really looking forward to the sea days to relax on!:cool1:

You guys have been busy the last few days. We went to Denver on Friday and returned today. Had a wonderful time visiting relatives and celebrating a 91st birthday. We went to Rocky Mountain National Park so I can cross off another National Park from my life goal of visiting every National Park before I die. We also went to the Celesteal Seasons tea plant and learned a lot about tea.

I will have to catch up tomorrow after a good night's sleep and a hard day of returning to work.

That sounds lovely!:goodvibes

Thanks Alex...

Bought some swimwear, tops and leggings for the girls, some shorts and wait for it..................a formal dress for me, YAY!!! So, it was a wonderful day all round :cool1:

The list below shows the people who have requested to link dining to sit in the DIS area. The list needs to be checked to see if it is correct and if I have missed anyone from the list. The coloured groups are those who have already requested to sit together at the same table.

The main group will be requesting ROTATION 2 which is the APL Rotation as this is the preference of the majority. However Sue and Hayley's families are on ROTATION 1, the LAP rotation. So if anyone prefers this rotation you could be linked into the same area as Sue and Hayley's families.

If anyone has any preferences to sit at a particular table with particular DIS members please send me a PM, otherwise I will leave it up to DCL to allocate people to tables, apart from those already organised to sit together.

I am still waiting for GRAYFAL and SUE L to give me their reservation numbers ... could you please do this as soon as you are able. Thanks :thumbsup2

Anymore wish to join the DIS area .... we could do with some more families with children if possible please.

:thumbsup2

Well, after what you have been through you deserve a lovely relaxing morning, and you bought a formal dress too ..... :yay::yay: any photos !!!
Great that your MUm has this lovely trip lined up with her friends after what she has been through. That could be just what the doctor ordered

I agree, it is addictive! I've not yet used the gym onbaord but am determined to this time :cool1: (unless those pesky heated loungers entice me away):rolleyes1

I am determined to use the gym this time, if only to shift calories so I can put them straight back in at dinner :thumbsup2
