Hi everyone! I am new to the thread and the discusson! This is going to be my first TA. I am a little nervous that with 6 days at sea my husband and I (no kids) at going to go a little crazy. Can anyone tell me anything special about the TAs and what they just love to do one them?

Glad you enjoyed it! I've still managed to be strong and hold out until I can (hopefully) see it on the Magic. .

That's my plan, too. I like watching movies on sea days. I also want to see it in 2D, because makes me . I don't get sea unless I'm at an aquarium with really large glass viewing areas (seems distorted to me and plays with my mind) or when I watch movies.

Speaking of on-board movies......I looked to see if Walt Disney Pictures has any premieres while we're on-board. "You Again" is scheduled to be released on September 24. This comedy has Kristen Bell, Sigourney Weaver, Jamie Lee Curtis, Kristin Chenoweth, Betty White, and Victor Garber (try not to think about "Titantic") in it.

Finally got our air schedule from Disney today! We'll be leaving Washington Dulles the afternoon of the 15th on Delta for Atlanta, then take the 5:55 to Barcelona arriving at 8:55 on the 16th. Anyone on this flight?

I'm getting excited but I have a crazy busy August to get through yet!

Linda, there was a thread on secert room service items in the main cruise forum. If someone hasn't bumped it by the time I get to the end of the thread I will take a look, would love to add that to my iPad for reference on the cruise, lol

Angie, that is a must ride for this trip. No matter what park I have been in for the last two years it has been closed, agh!!

I thought that they premeired movies at midnight the first day that they would show in the US - someone please correct me if I am wrong... I really want to see Sorcerer's Apprentice, so I hope it is showing!

On the ship we lose a kid (DS) for most of the time thanks to OQ and the other part of the time... I love the time I can sit and relax at the adult pool... Not to mention that they work hard to make sure that I have as good a time as my kids, and that helps!!

There are a few of us on the ATL to BCN flight. Walt & Di are sitting right behind us, Alex Turner is on the other side of the plane... Alex Turner and I are from ATL - so a direct flight for us. I think Walt & Di are coming in from TX. I believe the flight originates in TX - so we should be able to meet in the terminal!! Walt & Di - you will need to see if you can get off and come meet all of us!!!

Don't forget about the fist page post from Kimberly - she really is the Queen of Tracking all things Hotel and Air!! If you PM her she can add you to the list!!

Our kids are back in school in 2 weeks, so I am crazy busy getting supplies, back to school clothes, etc. Once they are in and cheer and baseball both get to a normal schedule, I will get back on track...

In case anyone is gathering info and wants the room service menu in advance, I grabbed this from other info I was viewing. The room service menu is listed below. However, the items which can be ordered which are not on the menu are Mickey Ice Cream Bars aka Pirate Bars , uncrustable PBJ sandwiches and (or so someone says!) Mickey Rice Crispie Treats...chocolate covered or plain! We'll have to test that one out with a call!
