Is anyone planning to cruise in 2011 ... I am thinking about a Med cruise for Tony's 50th birthday ... we have to celebrate him becoming an OFFICIAL geezer as opposed to a "you know what"

We are Dream- ing the last week of Feb and the first of March - 4/3 day cruises = 7 days on the Dream - we will be celebrating Ashlyn's 16th birthday! My aunt, uncle, cousin and his youngest child will be joining us along with my MIL

Every DIS'er (and their traveling party) will be getting a Lime Green, Glow in the dark Wristband as a gift.

What do you need to do to get yours? Go to:

LARGE - 8 3/8" MEDIUM - 7 3/8" SMALL- 5 7/8"
these are in inches - and I do not know how to convert for non-USA people.

Just for the heck of it, I put Barcelona and and Funchal on weather.com as two of my favorites. Now, whenever I check my local weather, I see what the weather is like there. Right now it is 77 in Barcelona and 70 in Portugal. I'd take either of those over the 88 here in Indiana.

You lucky thing Mandy .... won't be long though until other people are waving at us. This is the start of the return to Barcelona cruise isn't it ??

I've looked into cruising Hawaii, but honestly, for me, I think that if I'm going to go there, I want to spend the time on the islands and getting soaked in the Hawaiian experience, not cruising to get there. Hawaii isn't inexpensive (at least not for all the things I want to do and places I want to go and stay at), so in addition to time constraints, I unfortunately couldn't take the trans-Pacific and spend a week or more in Hawaii. If that lottery that I don't play would just pay off, I would be all set!

We love Hawaii and encourage people not to miss it. It is nothing like the Caribbean. If you want to see multiple islands on one trip, cruising is the only way I would do it (but never on NCL again). We've island hopped to three islands on one trip and the time to deal with packing and then flying is just not worth it. We usually do a couple of days in Honolulu and then fly to Kaui to do nothing but sun and snorkle. I've read the state Department of Transportation confirmed that Disney has tentative bookings at Pier 2 in Honolulu Harbor in May and September of 2012. My sister, a TA says the speculation is DL is going to do a tour in Asia with stops in Hawaii as part of a repositioning.

2011 Cruises
We currently booked for the Dream 3/3 cruise and the last Alaska. Were thinking to changing the Dream to the Med Cruise which includes the Canne 7/30

Were also going to Hawaii in 2012. Not sure on the dates yet waiting for the new DVC resort to open then it will be whats available bases on our 7month booking window to start planning.

Captain and Helen- thank you for all you are doing with the shirts. I'm sure your mail man loved you.

Noel- glad you got your car sorted.

Welcome to the new people. Everyone here has great information and when ever you have a question some one here has the answer.

Diser on Cruise- The DVC member cruise has a lot of Diser, it is actually how i found out about the boards. We went to dinner with Jim Lewis the President of DVC and met a couple to the moderators. We still chat with them. On the last couple of cruises the threads were not very chatty but we still had a great time with them once we were on board.

Well back to taking exams on line.
