Hey Maz!:cool1: Do you think we may actually get to meet at last?:woohoo:

Having trouble emailing for the roll call sign up....my emails are being returned as 'address unknown failure'.....are we unwanted?:rolleyes1:lmao:

Welcome aboard!! Noel and John

Don't even joke about that ash cloud!!

I shall be joining you for coffee in Quiet Cove cafe....thrid time's the charm!:thumbsup2

We're booked to fly into Barcelona the day before, with BA...can't believe its costing us more to fly from Heathrow to Spain, than back from Florida to UK!!!

We really should try and have a UK meet. There are quite a few of us now.

Hey I think there's a few of us on the 7:30pm flight from Heathrow with BA.

If you are looking for a hotel in Barcelona we're staying at the Renaissance at the airport. 99Euros a night including breakfast and airport shuttle. Its 10 Euros then for the shuttle to the port the next morning

Hope you do manage to find it Angie. I lost my solitaire from my engagement ring many years ago and never found it. Somehow it is still a little sad, even though we went to a diamond merchant and bought an extremely nice replacement.

When do you plan to set off in the RV for the long trip?

Hopefully early July. There are some family issues (extended family) that have to be settled first that should be resolved one way or the other late June. We need to "be around" until then. Dennis also has an appointment with the VA hospital late May and that whole issue also needs to be settled before we head out to parts unknown. Depending on that outcome we may have to postpone our trek to next summer and just do a shorter version this year. :confused3 Life seems to be getting in the way of my retirement plans. :upsidedow It is all good though. :cool1:

When I was on active duty, we had a saying, "You can sleep when you're dead!" But, in reality, we would grab 5 or 10 minutes anywhere and anytime we could: a rock in the desert (my favorite pillow), a snow cave in the mountains, the intake of a jet aircraft - or in my case, the cockpit (not while actually flying the jet, of course :scared1: ). Must be a military thing!

Ok, so this explains alot for me! I've been married to this man for 42 years and could never understand his ability to take a 15 minute nap and get up refreshed! He is a VietNam army vet. It is so strange that I never connected this. :confused3 I need at least an hour or I feel worse than if I just skip the nap.
Oh boy, don't tell Candida. She loves that game.

Jon

She is welcome to join us!! :goodvibes Just cruise by the Cove Cafe and if we are there, pull up a chair and we will deal her in!

Oh I got this on Monday so not that much difference. Was disappointed because on the last TA we got a magnet with this stuff on and a map of the cruise. Oh well never mind!

We just got another yesterday for our 2011 Alaska cruise. I LOVE Disney mail!! :goodvibes

Oops! God I hope you find it and no one chocks on it!

I think I will be able to get it replace with little or no charge. I will be checking into that today. BUT, I do also hope no one swallows it!! :scared1:

Thanks Sarah! It seems to have come on suddenly too which isn't nice. Dan had the joys of trying to cool me down with wet flannels on Thursday night as I was on fire but claiming I was cold! Not fun! Today we seem to have gone to the cold sweats stage! I hope this passes soon!

Oh, I hope you do get feeling better really soon!

Hi folks!:rolleyes1
Looks like we'll be joining this merry band of swashbucklers!pirate:
Dh has just told me he secretly booked this as an anniversary surprise!!!:cheer2:
I know a few of you from other threads and holidays.....but I don't think I'll manage to catch up on everything this late in the day!:thumbsup2

Look forward to joining in some of the fun:woohoo:

x:littleangel:

Mandy & Mark

Mandy! Welcome! I do hope we get to meet this time! :goodvibes We were just getting to know you on the PC thread when you had to change your plans.

Angie, I do understand about issues getting in the way of retirement plans. I hope all goes well and you can continue with your trip this summer.

Oh Mandy I think you may be emailing because of the note on post 1? This is out of date. You can sign up on the website now.

Where did you get your deal? We have some very good friends that we're trying to convince to join us but the cost is an issue.

Thanks! I do feel somewhat better than I did so all good! Using up every tissue in the house though and breathing is bad but overall not too shabby

Me and my sister stayed there in 2007 (Renaissance) and it was fab! Room was lovely. Great buffet! Full English plus extras like olives and fish bits and stuff lol (stuff I wont eat). I know there was a prawn something! Sad what you remember?

There is just NO way John would go to a 'learn dancing' class!!!

I just so agree with John!

Just through DCL/Dreams....we thought it was a good deal anyway! Plus we had mileage to be used up that paid for our flights back to the UK after the cruise...that helped a lot!:thumbsup2

Ah, in steerage with us!! :thumbsup2

Yep, steerage it is Angie!:thumbsup2

Sounds good Sarah....who did you book it through, we can see it for around that price but doesn't seem to include bf? Maybe the deal has gone now....

Still having trouble trying to join the roll call on the web site....I'm having a 'blonde' moment I'm afraid....may leave til I've found my brain cells!:rolleyes1

I used this website Its the autumn break offer - just checked and it came up available. It includes breakfast for 2 adults and you don't need to pay in advance for the room.
