It was going to be a quiet weekend ending on Sunday with a wine dinner at D'land and then an overnight stay at Paradise Pier Hotel; one of our dogs thought differently though (well, it actually took 2 of them). After having an ultrasound for puppies last month and not seeing any, our older girl decided she would have some anyway.

Early this morning she whelped a litter of 5 pups. I unfortunately diagnosed her with a false pregancy last week - BECAUSE THE ULTRASOUND SAID NO PUPPIES - and we weren't prepared for this at all. All of the whelping supplies had been given away. We lost 2 of them unfortunately because she decided to whelp under our deck and not realizing it, 2 of the 3 didn't make it due to the cold night. We got her back in the house, cleaned her up quickly, made a makeshift whelping box and she whelped 2 more fairly quickly.

2 girls and 1 boy now join the household! It's going to be a crazy 8 weeks coming up. The move to Mexico JUST got a bit more challenging on the timing front.

Who else is having fun???!!!

Well thats one way to stop you going away lol! At least 3 survived bless them! Definately going to be challenging taking them to Mexico now! Any names yet? We want pictures lol!

PS. Got a letter from DCL yesterday, you guys probably got it long before it made it to Australia. It was just 'Helpful Hints for your Transatlantic Voyage'. Just about foreign currency, packing tips, Flight details, ground transfers and Hotels. Nothing exciting.

Oh I got this on Monday so not that much difference. Was disappointed because on the last TA we got a magnet with this stuff on and a map of the cruise. Oh well never mind!

Hi everyone,
Havent been able to get to post this week and I think it will take me hours just to scan through all the posts

I notice a lot of you are talking about all the formal/semi formal nights.
I persuaded Carl to buy a tux, seeing as we have the med cruise as well so maybe another dress for me and we will be sorted .
We are flying with BA to Barcelona then Virgin home so we will have to pay for an extra suitcase each.

Wishing you all a great weekend, whatever you are doing.
I have got my 3 year old grandson overnight on Saturday, so will be shattered on sunday as he certainly knows how to keep us busy.

Jan - we're doing the same as you but booked Virgin before the 25th Nov so get 2 cases still. Only need to pay on the way out.

I was on that halloween cruise 2008, lol. I was the treat station, Dis Halloween hunt, at the top of the atrium up on desk five looking down three stories with all those waves for 40 minutes was lots of fun, lol. I learned the joy of green apples and gingerale that trip and we got to see the Wonder and Magic together.

I was on deck 9 stairwell by Topsiders giving out clues on the DIS trick or treat .... I don't remember those green t-shirts and I can only recognise Sean and Christine from that photo ..... I also don't remember seeing the Magic and Wonder together ... when did that happen ??????

Nothing planned for the weekend. The weather has been AMAZING the last two days. 70 degrees and sunshine. Woo Hoo!!!

I baked bread today and lost a diamond out of my ring. Hope Dennis does not find it in his toast. Could be anywhere though, I also helped Dennis take the cover off the RV - the weather is THAT nice! - and I may have lost it out there in the driveway when we were folding that darn thing up.

Oops! God I hope you find it and no one chocks on it!

DCL called today to follow up on our request of a pre-cruise night in Barcelona. I would appreciate any insight on Le Meridien. It is not cheap. Thanks.

My parents stayed at Le Meridian in 2007 and loved it. They said the hotel was lovely and a great location to walk around the city.

Woo! Just booked our Barcelona hotel today. It is a cheap place near the airport, but I just couldn't face paying $150-200 for a place to literally lay our heads for one night. We'll be so shattered from the trip we'd probably be able to sleep on a bench. DH is Army, so he is equipped with the ability to literally have a 12 1/2 minute window to nap, lay down on a hard tile floor with a light in his eyes, and sleep. Amazing.

This weekend we are headed to Hershey Park on Saturday and then I have a 5K on Sunday.

Congrats! Where did you end up booking? We went for the Renaissance at the airport as it was 99 euros for the night including breakfast for 2 and free airport shuttle. Shuttle to the port the next morning is 10 Euros per person!

Oh my goodness! I just can't keep up. I hope someone is adding all the info we need to know somewhere. With two little ones I just can't get on everyday and then I get so behind!!

Thanks Sarah! It seems to have come on suddenly too which isn't nice. Dan had the joys of trying to cool me down with wet flannels on Thursday night as I was on fire but claiming I was cold! Not fun! Today we seem to have gone to the cold sweats stage! I hope this passes soon!

looked at the metadata, I did the Halloween 2007, Sean and Christine did the repeat in 2008, they are such a great couple.

Well the 2nd EBTA blog I have been reading has at last been updated. Last post was in Epcot before the cruise!!! It seems they don't like any of the entertainment so far. Not enough going on during the day - well not as much provided as they had on the last TA they were on. The magician was a disaster apparently and she didn't like the new Villains show. Alfred and Seymour she found funny but not amazing. Oh dear. Anyway she still said it has been amazing.

Due to the time changes each night they are sleeping till lunchtime!!!! At least that won't be our problem will it - we will be waking up at 3am!!!

For us we aren't big on the shows etc, so it doesn't worry us too much about the nightly entertainment. I do hope there are some sensible adult things to go to during the day though, like 'lectures' etc. Perhaps we will have to try paper plane making and towel folding!!!!!

Last time they did "learn Spanish" on the way to Barcelona each day and then "learn dancing" on the way back, with a different dance each day. I quite liked the idea of something over a few days. Didn't make it to any of them on the last 2 TA's mind lol! Mum went to learn ballroom and Mum & Lindsay learnt to line dance (under the influence of a Michael Jordan Wine Tasting event where a whole table of 8 people next to us never turned up so us and a neighbouring table shared out the already poured wine portions!).
