I don't know if anyone is doing wine - and isn't there a cognac one on board as well?

Also - who has set these up before? If you get a good sized group, does DCL just acomodate us?

Have added you to the beer boozers group. I am just compiling a list at the moment .... not sure of the next step but I will email DCL and see what they say.

And if I have to miss out on dessert on the night we leave Barcelona ... oh well. Im not missing out on being on deck to wave good bye.

I quite agree .... there's nothing like that "leaving port" feeling on the first day .... I will be rushing dinner too.

Received the donation thanks I tried to PM you but your mailbox is full.

We have our hair shaved off at 4.30pm on the 14th of May (my birthday - so at least my family know they can buy me a hat)

It will definitely be chilly by then, it was nearly a frost this morning and its very much autumn here now, the leaves are falling and we have just gone onto winter time with daylight savings.

I'll post some pictures once we've been shaved... can't believe I seriously signed up for this!

Still what better cause than supporting children with cancer?

I have cleared out the mail box again I still think you're very brave. Better invest in some hats

What do you guys collect already? And if it is pins do you have a particular theme for your collection?

The list is pretty long: Disney Pins (Figment, DVC, DCL, resorts I have been too and any special events I have attended), Pandora bracelet, Beanie Babies, Bears (Steiff and Artist Bears), aircraft models, cruise ship models and dolphins)

It is different isn't it? They don't do St. Maarten and Tortola ( or at least I think they don't )

No, they don't do the Caribbean ports, but do Cadiz and have an overnight stop in Barcelona.

Sorry to hear about your FIL. Hope things get sorted there as soon as possible I have put your party down for the Beer Boozers !!!

I just got off the phone with Robert from DCL about the times in Barcelona.

Boarding will start before noon.
EVERYONE must be on the ship before 4pm due to the lifeboat drill. No one can get off after that. The ship leaves at 9:30pm.
CC... we dock about 11:15am and everyone back on before 4:30, ship leaves by 5pm.
No info if they will have a 5k on the island, but I did let them know that a big group of us are Very intrested!

glad to see everyone is warming up - although i did love the snow pictures that were posted earlier. just hit 38 today (i think that is just over 100F) and it is only just starting to warm up!

The idea of ten days in Disney without parks does actually sound good in a way. BK (before kids) Chris and i used to spend days looking around the resorts and we always need a couple of days to shop. We love the outlets and are sort of addicted to walmart - you know anything you can't have seems better...

Anyway I love the new name for the cruise and Chris and i will both be doing our best to live up to it.

Oh and good luck with the race it sounds both a lot of fun and very worth while. Also Paula good luck with the head shaving - you are very brave, a friend of mine in Melbourne just did the same thing and it turns out she has a really nice shaped head.

OK - we are on a 14 night trip. We have 3 tastings we are working on. I think we have 3 others - wine, margaritas, cognac. So, 6 of the 14 have tastings...

Are there others we are missing? Driink of the Day? What else is out there?

Also - who has set these up before? If you get a good sized group, does DCL just acomodate us?

What pins we collect changes constantly. We see something we like and then start trading for that, except Dennis does love the Tinkerbell ones and hangs on to those. We have bags of pins! Dennis also collects stuff, and more stuff.....guitars (currently he is down to 6 as he recently gave away 2 to good friends and now says he needs JUST one more ), chess sets, books, more stuff and more stuff! I collect carousel horses. And we have a house full of misc. Disney stuff.

Hi everyone!

I had a dream that we were all on the cruise last night! What was strange was I was trying to get on board, but my driver's license said one thing and my passport said another, but they let me on anyway (I still need to change my name on both) but I kept thinking to myself, "I thought I had so much time to do it, how did it get here so fast?"

It has gotten downright hot around here...mid to upper 80's which is nearly unheard of for this time of year. I'm sitting in our bedroom right now with the A/C blowing on me...it's so nice to be cool!

I"m looking for jobs right now...it's depressing to see what is out there...I'm hoping to find something soon!

That is funny. I dreamed not long ago that we were at the airport and I had forgotten our passports!

We can order cake on room service !!
