I have e-mailed to ask what it weighs.

I had a small one for jewellery last time, but the hanger bit has broken off. I don't know whether I would use this larger one. We seemed to have enough room in our bathroom for our toiletries last time and I use one of the shelves for all of our bits and pieces. I know a lot of people swear by them though, and if you travel with a lot of "stuff" it would be useful I'm sure.

(I decided today that I am going the International Congress of Midwives' triennial conference in Durban, South Africa is June 2011 with some friends/colleagues. I am beyond excited: going to Africa is a huge life-long Top 100 things to do before I die kinda thing for me. The people I am going with are so much fun. I am so looking forward to meeting international midwives.)

Sarah- have you been to an ICM conference before? I heard the last one was in Scotland.

Your trip sounds very exciting. I haven't been to an ICM conference before, I think I was on holiday when the last one was on but some colleagues went and really enjoyed it. I have the travel bug all the time and already have plans in my head for the next 3 years

I actually bought a shirt today for dinner on the cruise. I don't remember how much it was originally, but it ended up being less than $7.00! I was very excited!

Thats a great bargain! I love snagging bargains and I can't wait to start shopping for cruise clothing but plan to lose a stone in weight first. Hopefully before the summer clothing sales start here in July. Most of my existing cruise clothing is a dress size below what I am now, so if I don't shift the weight this trip will be very expensive as I will need a whole new wardrobe and that is NOT going to happen.

Over the door hanger thingy

Ah, that is what I guesses! We bought one in Walmart a couple of years ago and it works well, but it is really quite bulky to pack. I just use it inside my half of the bathroom for all my toiletries. The metal hooks that go under the door however always drop off!!!

I've been trying to lose weight since last May. I was doing well (I lost almost 15 pounds) and then I lost my job and I gained it all back. I'm trying to get it back off...I actually have my meeting (I'm doing Weight Watchers) tonight so I'll weigh in and see how I am doing! Keep your fingers crossed.

I also have to ask, how much is a stone? It is so wonderful to be cruising with people from around the globe because I am learning so much about the world!

That looks so amazing, does anyone know how often the planes come in? Or do we sit there all day and wait?
Also, your shoe thingy-ma-jig, I have one of those, looks the same but has a metal rod that slides through the top to keep it straight. I also have a smaller one which was sold as a jewellery holder.

Theres a schedule of planes on the websie for the bar I think - or on the airport website. Big planes are in in the afternoon!
