The snowboarding is fun! I love figure skating...I try to get on the computer before the prime time show starts so the Olympics have my undivided attention.

When did your do your International Program? Were you there in the spring of 2003? I did a CP during the spring of 2003 so I was wondering if we were there at the same time! :)

Erik, that is such a cute story! :love:

I did the IP programme from September 03-04 so probably just missed you!

Does anybody who did the TA before remember how much the Rainforest was for the length of the cruise? We did a one day pass there and I loved it! The heated seats are the best!

I think you saved about 2 days worth of buying each day so it wasn't a huge difference just to buying when you need it/want it

This is a test

How can i put the picture on this forum???

There's a button above the post thing with a yellow square. IF you click that and put the link in the popup you get it to work.
The post was just missing a ] after IMG

:cool1::cool1: OMG! OMG! OMG! :cool1::cool1:

I have been reading over the last few weeks/months about how some 2010 WBTA guests from the US and UK have received letters from DCL stating that each member of their stateroom party has been given USD$100 shipboard credit.
:banana::banana::banana:

Well, I received the letter in the mail today Whohoo!:yay::yay::yay:

I am soooooo rapt. I never expected it to come all the way Down Under.

(It's my birthday on Sunday, what a great surprise gift!) :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

YIPPEE EYAH!!!

Glad Australia is now getting some letters too!

Good morning from Wales ... we have a sprinkling of snow this morning :scared1:

First day of 13 days off work today and it sure feels good :goodvibes

It is DD Taryn's birthday ... she is 19 today .... and we are all going out for an Indian meal to celebrate this evening. Unfortunately poor DS Danny has tonsilitis and is very under the weather:sick::sick::sick: so we will have to see if he feel up to it later.

Just 6 days until we go to France for a long weekend skiing ... should be interesting :rotfl::rotfl::laughing::laughing:

Oh and I forgot an important countdown yesterday ........

7 MONTHS TO GO !!!!!

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

There's snow here too! Say happy birthday to Taryn for me!

Been away in Southampton for 2 days with work so drove back yesterday with the threat of being snowed out of South Wales lol. Luckily it wasn't too too bad. Theres a lot on the cars and streets again but not as deep!

Say Happy Birthday tp Taryn from me as well and tell her we will be pleased to meet her in May, have a lovely meal.mmmm my fav!
Hope Danny feels better soon, tonsaltitis sucks, I know from 1st hand experiance, like having rusty crusty golf balls in the back of your throat,if he EVER gets the chance to get them out, tell him to go for it, best thing i ever done, EVERY single trip post aeroplane I had tonsil trouble up till I was 25.

Where is our letter? Everyone is getting them but us. Has anyone who booked thru DVC recieved the letter. We booked in 08 so we should have recieved it last fall and this time. I think i'll make a call to DVC.

IT may be that DVC aren't doing the offer. Could just be an offer through DCL website/phone?

Lynne & Sarah I think we've decided to drop out of Mousemeets 2010 as the costs are insane from down here. Bit of a bummer really but justifying it is hard when we could have a week away at Easter for the same price (not that we are lol)

OH NO ..... what a bummer indeed ... we were so looking forward to a pre-cruise meet and to meeting you and Dan :sad2::sad2:

Taryn says "Thanks for the birthday wishes"

Poor Danny is not at all himself ... he hasn't really eaten for 3 days and is speaking using a computer voice on his laptop. It's very quiet around here!
He has even given up a trip to visit his girlfriend tomorrow so he much be feeling bad : ( First time he had ever had it though, and hopefully the last.

I know! I'm gutted but we looked at trains and planes and would have to come up for 2 nights plus about £150 each to travel! Just can't justify it in my head!

Shame I never had that problem:scared1:

For those of you that have travelled in Europe before, specifically Barcelona. Do you think a slash-proof bag is necessary?? The best one I found is $80. That's a little high for a small backpack, especially 'cause I already have a small backpack, but I will have my dslr in it. What do you guys think?

Necessary?

The bag I'm looking into is the Pacsafe TourSafe Sling/Backpack. It is slash-proof & also has hidden zippers to protect from pick-pocketing.

Also, pacsafe has a slash-proof camera strap. Do you think this is also necessary? I've read so much about the pick-pocketing. It has me worried.

TIA :grouphug:

I'm looking at buying one of the Pacsafe bags also - I just can't decide which one I want! If you think it will help you feel safer, then I say go for it. I'd rather spend the money on the Pacsafe bag than spend the day worrying that my cheaper bag will be slashed off my shoulder.

In europe, you know Im old, been going to cities for years ans Ive never heard of bags gettitng slashed, yes I am sure it does happen, but please dont worry about it.

Maybe we need to get the girls together for a chocolate meet up before the cruise? I would LOVE to do a chocolate tour. I did some googling and found some amazing places to visit.

I found a place that offers tours, as well as one hour classes for the kids... Chocolate Modeling... YUM!

So much to do in 2 days... Need to make sure the family doesn't suffer from jetlag - or we will loose a full day...

The letter is dated December 2009. There is no indication when it was actually posted but it was sent international priority airmail from Miami. :confused3

So this letter was sent out with the original letters and is part of the original error that occurred. :sad1:

I was hoping it was an indicator of a rethink on DCLs part about the OBC debacle. :scratchin

:cutie:
