Ah yes, I can always use a good seeing eye person that is not tipsy. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Yo Ho Me Hearties! I have finally stopped slacking and pulled the lists together. Our original plan was up to 25 cabins per group. I thought we would have more people than we do though. So, instead of juggling a ton of stuff, I took the 34 cabins and the folks in each and pretty much divided it in half. I have 2 pretty equal groups - and at the suggestion of quite a few, I let the kids fall where they were. We have Group Papaya and Group Sage. I couldn't think of a tropical green fruit, so... Oh - I cut the kids age off at 16. This was a pretty natural cutoff as there was a large gap in ages. I think the next youngest was Trevor at 20 - Janice, if you want him listed as a 'kid' just let us know!!

OK, here they are...

Group Papaya:

Group Facts:
  • 16 total cabins (this could increas by 2 - I am waiting on an answer from Dee on how many cabins vs. FE's)
  • 39 Total people
  • 3 Kids
GroupPapaya.jpg

Groups Sage
  • 18 Total Cabins
  • 40 Total people
  • 7 Kids (could grow to 8)
GroupSage.jpg

OK - let me know if I need to make adjustments. Anyone that signed up that is not on the list please PM me ASAP. Anyone that wats to sign up Please go out to the website - www.transatlanticpirates.com and PM me. The plan was to add another group or more! So the more the merrier!
This looks so nice. Thank you so much for doing this.

BTW, Terry (tinker1bell) and I are in the same cabin 8040. :goodvibes

We've been having the gas company around the neighborhood the past 2 days working on replacing a few of the gas lines (today ours was included). We're also in the process of cleaning the house and have, once again, a dumpster in our driveway.

During one of our many trips outside to dump more "stuff" one of the gas guys (why are they getting so young?????) came over and just sort of started chatting for a bit. He noticed our license plate and asked if we were heading out to Club 33 anytime soon (Marc's plate is KLB33; mine in KLUB33). He mentioned that he had been once in the past as his father-in-law was a Disney Imagineer. Our ears perked up at that point and asked what FIL had worked on. Turns out he was involved with quite a bit but his biggest claim as an Imagineer - the ride design for Soarin' over California (or just Soarin' to you WDW-only fans!). His father-in-law is Mark Sumner, the Imagineer who took an old-fashioned erector set and figured out how to save S.O.C from the trash pile!

We had a great time chatting with this guy and realize, once again, that the world is just getting smaller. We now have a 6th Degree of Separation moment for a Disney attraction!
Soarin' is my favorite ride in Epcot. Might be favorite in all the world. I could barely contain myself as I read this. Don't know what I would have done if I actually met him. Or a relative!!! :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

We had a disaster today, we are looking after friends lab and I foolishly foolishly bought a bag of tennis balls for the dogs, one bounced and Orly and friends dog went for it and ALL HELL let loose, omg:scared1: I was kicking and screaming and they would NOT stop, eventually I scruffed Orly by the neck and butt and lifted him away, they STILL had a hold of each other, Len pulled the lab away and it was over :sad2: Anyway Lab fine Orly split his ear.
Honestly it happend so quick, horrible, thank god I am quick with stuff like that, not so quick to bring the stupid balls out in the first place though!
Anyway 3 nights at work then we will all be away to the beach, hope the weather is good.

Hope Orly's ear is ok.

Jon

Since I am usually your seeing eye person,,,,,I will be glad to hand that chore to someone else so I can drink!!!:lmao::lmao::lmao:

The first time I rode Soaring, I recognized every place they filmed. I was just in awe. I also cried as well. It was very overwhelming. I would gladly stand in line to ride it. Since I volunteered with the Give a Day--Get a Disney Day, I told Stephanie that I am gonna get fast passes for Soaring and I will just see her later!!!! :rotfl::lmao::lmao:

Maybe I'll share my walker and ask her to take us both to the cabin.:cool1::thumbsup2:lmao::lmao::lmao:

I can't wait to ride Soarin' again. Just can't wait.:goodvibes:goodvibes:love:

What day are you planning on arriving in Barcelona? We are flying to UK via Dublin then to B'ham to visit w/family for 2 weeks, then flying to Barcelona possibly on the 16th, Thursday.

:lmao: Now that is one of those things isn't it??? I think 60 is a good age to be an Old Geezer, but for GIT's, well, somewhere over 50 perhaps. But we wouldn't want to refuse a youngster - after all we might need them to help us get back to our cabins if we can't remember where they are.:rotfl2:

Well. I'm only 33, but since I am not a very good drinker (1 drink and I'm in pain or asleep, gallbladder!) I'll be joining you guys as a DW, that's a designated walker! ;)

It must be just me, But It's telling me the Photo bucket account is down? I can't see the list's, and I have been soooo excited to get them! Not very many kids :confused3 I love doing kids gifts, what a pity!

The lists look great!!! One thing - once they are finalized - is there anyway of knowing the ages of the kids in your group (a 12-14 year old would probably not like something a 5-6 year old would).

thanks for all your work.

Definitely, maybe we should all edit our roll call details to add kids ages, then we can look them up for ourselves?

We had a smoothie meet in the Cove Cafe in October last year.
I'll definitely come to a smoothie meet! YUM!!!

Is anyone arranging a whiskey tasting? I know they've had them before on the ship, but I've never made it to one.

My DH drinks bourbon, so whiskey is close enough, he'd come to that.;)

And Yay, I have a few more kids!!!!!
Don't get me wrong, It's still fun for the adults, but I just know when my kids come back to the room and find something in thier FE they will be so excitied, A kids excitement is different to an adults, It's contagious!
Although it does sound like me have a few overgrown kids on our cruise too!:rotfl2:

Oh no .... I am allergic to Kiwi :scared1::scared1:

I'm a bit worried about the "Kiwi" naming - you do know that a Kiwi is an endangered flightless bird in this part of the world and also a term of endearment for New Zealanders... it is not a type of fruit - thats a Kiwifruit! :rotfl:

weekend plans, I have to work tomorrow. I am on a late shift and closing up shop tomorrow. I am hoping I will be home in time to watch the Magic sail away. Tomorrow I can officially say that the Magic will come to get us.:woohoo:

Hi Corinna
Where will you be watching it ? Is there a webcam link? Also what time is the best time to watch it. I remember watching the Magic in the Panama Canal on the webcam and it was amazing.

next week up North to the beach.

Hope Orly's ear is on the mend and that he has recovered from the experience

Oh!!! So weird!

I would stay well away from that area!

Id be away out!

Sounds more like an adventure!

Yes, and very smooth you all look too:goodvibes

Thats an amazing story!

I am at work this weekend, Len is at home, we are going away next week up North to the beach.

Poor Orly!

Any UK people betting on the Grand National today? I've gone for The Package at 12/1 yesterday!

No, I will bet how many legs are broken, sorry to be a kill joy.
But it is a great sport, its just with working in a horse vets for so long I have seen it first hand.
I do feel bad being a kill joy but I cant help it.
But I do think folk should bet and enjoy it, just no me.:)

Orly is his own worst enemy but he is fine Len reports, ta for asking.

For those staying at WDW after the cruise, here's an interesting link that I just learned about (and I live in Orlando!):

http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/tours.htm

Ive done a few of these over the years.

The Backstage Safari is great! Did Backstage Magic as a child and was also fab! Dolphins in Depth I had a ball on, and you get to go in the tank in the Living Seas. Sunrise Safari is good but I think you need to be an Animal Kingdom Lodge Conceirge guest or did when I did it.

If you want a brilliant Magic Kingdom Tour - Keys to the Kingdom is fantastic value! I loved it! Lunch is included for $65 at Columbia Harbour House!

If you have kids, the Family Magic Tour is like a scavenger hunt around Magic Kingdom. If you don't have kids (me my sister and her hubby did this) you feel a bit stupid as you have to do things like crawl across the floor in Cosmic Rays lol!

If you are staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge then the Wayama Safari was so amazing! I loved it!

Hiya

We're only arriving late the night before but I know quite a few are arriving earlier. On P1 post 3 I think it is there is a list of hotels that people are staying at and when they are arriving. Quite a few are arriving a couple of days before!
