I will talk to my shirt contact and see what she can get for us, and then post to the group. Does anyone know how to get a hold of our Captain (disneyVegas1)? He was ordering shirts - maybe he can get these if I cant.

Yo Ho Me Hearties! I have finally stopped slacking and pulled the lists together. Our original plan was up to 25 cabins per group. I thought we would have more people than we do though. So, instead of juggling a ton of stuff, I took the 34 cabins and the folks in each and pretty much divided it in half. I have 2 pretty equal groups - and at the suggestion of quite a few, I let the kids fall where they were. We have Group Papaya and Group Sage. I couldn't think of a tropical green fruit, so... Oh - I cut the kids age off at 16. This was a pretty natural cutoff as there was a large gap in ages. I think the next youngest was Trevor at 20 - Janice, if you want him listed as a 'kid' just let us know!!

OK, here they are...

Group Papaya:

Group Facts:
  • 16 total cabins (this could increas by 2 - I am waiting on an answer from Dee on how many cabins vs. FE's)
  • 39 Total people
  • 3 Kids
GroupPapaya.jpg

Groups Sage
  • 18 Total Cabins
  • 40 Total people
  • 7 Kids (could grow to 8)
GroupSage.jpg

OK - let me know if I need to make adjustments. Anyone that signed up that is not on the list please PM me ASAP. Anyone that wats to sign up Please go out to the website - www.transatlanticpirates.com and PM me. The plan was to add another group or more! So the more the merrier!

Is it just me ..... I can't see the lists.:confused3:confused3 They've shown up now...Thanks

:scared1:- Sorry you got missed! You are a part of the Pineapple group. I will post it towards the end of the weekend as I seem to have missed a few people... Must be the guys that does the website... He will have to cook dinner tonight to make up for it... :rotfl: That is one advantage to DH being the website guy... I can just blame him as he isn't on line to stick up for himself :rotfl2:

Thank you! I went back to the website and had to re-sign up for stuff - I *know* i did when the second site went up. But anyhow, re-checked lanyards and the FEs. Thanks again! BTW, I love pineapples.

Nope, not you!!

I made new drink lists (so I could add people)... Here they are again...

I do not know what all this PIF talk is about. My plan is to hope they have not noticed that I did not pay and they let me cruise for free. :rotfl2:

Congrats to those who have.

My weekend will include finishing our taxes and that is never fun. After that I am certain I will not want to pay anyone else. Sorry DCL you should have gotten me before the IRS did.:lmao:

I also have to work tomorrow morning. I provide supervision for 5 women who are working toward getting their clinical license. It has been over a year and there is no end in sight. By time I am done with them they will be family and in my will. :rotfl:

Well that sums up my weekend. I am hoping to work on a cake I am desiging for my grandson's first birthday. Maybe the stars will align and I can get to do that on Sunday. Now that I enjoy doing. It is the Mickey Mouse Playhouse. :thumbsup2

Have a great weekend. Hope to stop by and use you all as a break.

I m certain there will a few late night walks to de-stress.

Those smoothies and strawberry tarts look sooo good!!!

Just a little correction. DH's name is Graham.

Corinna

whoops ! and I knew that... why did I put Glenn:confused3

:lmao: Now that is one of those things isn't it??? I think 60 is a good age to be an Old Geezer, but for GIT's, well, somewhere over 50 perhaps. But we wouldn't want to refuse a youngster - after all we might need them to help us get back to our cabins if we can't remember where they are.:rotfl2:

My DH is almost 49 on the cruise .... makes him almost a Geezer in Training.
I can gatecrash ......

The 5 of us would be interested in Cognac. Is there also a Margaretta tasting? We would like that as well.

How about Kiwi?

Oh no .... I am allergic to Kiwi :scared1::scared1:

We've been having the gas company around the neighborhood the past 2 days working on replacing a few of the gas lines (today ours was included). We're also in the process of cleaning the house and have, once again, a dumpster in our driveway.

During one of our many trips outside to dump more "stuff" one of the gas guys (why are they getting so young?????) came over and just sort of started chatting for a bit. He noticed our license plate and asked if we were heading out to Club 33 anytime soon (Marc's plate is KLB33; mine in KLUB33). He mentioned that he had been once in the past as his father-in-law was a Disney Imagineer. Our ears perked up at that point and asked what FIL had worked on. Turns out he was involved with quite a bit but his biggest claim as an Imagineer - the ride design for Soarin' over California (or just Soarin' to you WDW-only fans!). His father-in-law is Mark Sumner, the Imagineer who took an old-fashioned erector set and figured out how to save S.O.C from the trash pile!

We had a great time chatting with this guy and realize, once again, that the world is just getting smaller. We now have a 6th Degree of Separation moment for a Disney attraction!

Still in Durham, leaving Saturday evening.

Sunday is my only day off this week:goodvibes

The Friday trivia will be delayed, but the answer for this last week was:

The second bucket of water for Gibbs was because he smelled.

I'll post the next question and standings on Sunday.

Jon

ps. Bring on part #5

I am so jealous. Soarin is my all time favourite ride. I first experienced it at Californian adventure and was so pleased when it came to Epcot.

As to weekend plans, I have to work tomorrow. I am on a late shift and closing up shop tomorrow. I am hoping I will be home in time to watch the Magic sail away. Tomorrow I can officially say that the Magic will come to get us.:woohoo:

It will be a bit bittersweet though as I should have been on board. Still, I am really looking forward to the Med cruise, which is my consolation price.

Speaking of the Med cruise, I contacted DU today as I still have not received my cruise documents and DCL somehow managed to screw this up. They reissued the cruise documents today and they should be with me early next week.

No plans for Sunday yet. Much will depend on the weather.

I feel your pain. I am in the same position and next week will be a six day week for me as well.

Corinna

Well we could all talk about our weekend plans.

Nothing much going on here actually.:lmao: The weather has at last become springlike so we might get out for a walk. John is trying to start laying new bathroom flooring, but wants to put it under the toilet and washbasin. He just can't get the washbasin off the wall though. I'm waiting for a disaster!:sad2::eek:

'Babysitting' Sunday evening for our son to take his wife, our lovely daughter in law out for a birthday meal.

That's us!!!
I would stay well away from that area!
You had me looking at your home country there!!!! That will be Lake Havasu then/:thumbsup2

John keeps making sighing noises, the occasional 'oh no' etc. I'm ready and waiting!!:lmao:
Id be away out!

I think we are having a weekend like John... We have an investment property that we are turning and we have to finish the grout in the kitchen (just the back splash as I am done with the floors). After that it is just the little odds and ends to get it ready to list. If we get it done, we may celebrate! We bought it at auction and it has been quite a haul for us...

Outside of that, I have to get the kids readyt o back to school as it has been their spring break...
Sounds more like an adventure!

Thats an amazing story!

I am at work this weekend, Len is at home, we are going away next week up North to the beach.

We had a disaster today, we are looking after friends lab and I foolishly foolishly bought a bag of tennis balls for the dogs, one bounced and Orly and friends dog went for it and ALL HELL let loose, omg:scared1: I was kicking and screaming and they would NOT stop, eventually I scruffed Orly by the neck and butt and lifted him away, they STILL had a hold of each other, Len pulled the lab away and it was over :sad2: Anyway Lab fine Orly split his ear.
Honestly it happend so quick, horrible, thank god I am quick with stuff like that, not so quick to bring the stupid balls out in the first place though!
Anyway 3 nights at work then we will all be away to the beach, hope the weather is good.

Is anyone arranging a whiskey tasting? I know they've had them before on the ship, but I've never made it to one.
