Needle update...... stuck in back of throat with thread still attached , phew, saved the cat a lot of hassle, night shift, dont you just love it??
Actually the sad thing is I do actually love my job.

Thanks for all the info guys, all very interesting\!

Why does this comp not have this function?
also why do cats eat thred with needles on?
also why do folks wait till animals are so desperate before taking them to vets?
also why are all the nutters in edinburgh phoning and bugging me tonight.
Also Is it a full moon, If I had time I would look?
See you in the am!

:grouphug: Glad to hear the needle got sorted out. Hope your night has been going better.

Thanks for the great update Kimberley. We arrive on Friday the 17th in the am. I am hoping to go touring, if I can sleep on the plane. :goodvibes

I just cancelled our flight and hotel with DCL. We are going to take a cab from the hotel to the port, no question. There is no way we are wrangling our luggage on a train or horrors! a bus. No way. Not happening.:goodvibes

I also asked for DCL transfers from the ship to MCO. It was only $30.00. :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

I really want to do the sightseeing bus tour. I want to get on and off and see the city. Walk around the Ramblas. Have a nice meal. Some really good coffee. Some Sangria! Lots and lots of Sangria.:cool1::cool1:

As soon as I saw this post, I knew we were going to take a taxi. No question about it. Probably from the airport to the hotel as well.:lmao: After knowing Stephanie for 20 years, I got her pretty much figured out.:goodvibes:goodvibes I start to tell my DH about something she has said and he just rolls his eyes upward and says "Oh for Pete's sake!!!":lmao:
He really loves her.

As for the Sangria,,,,,,,,,Bring it ON!!!!!:woohoo:

We have the apartment on Thursday night into Friday morning. Then we are moving into two separate rooms, because it was not available Friday into Saturday.

Becky, I have always loved your avatar! Wonder if we will get additional disers at the PB?

Thank you to everyone for the well wishes.

The health care system in North Dakota came through for her. After spending three nights in a same town hospital being taken care of they discharged her with the plan to head to a large facility for a consultation. We got there 45 min before her scheduled apt. Waited for just a couple minutes before they called us into the exam room. No waiting there, doctor came in right away. Discussed the options. Do to the situation it was suggested she try to get in for a day surgery to remove the stone. The doctor left and within a couple minutes came back to say that the OR would give him the room at 2pm. Less than three hours from the time we got to the hospital in the first place. Long story short, 5 1/2 hrs after we walked into the facility, we were walking out. Minus one kidney stone.

Now the rest of the family will be joining us over the next couple days to celebrate the life my step dad had.

That is excellent news! The ONLY good thing about kidney stones is, once they are gone the pain magically disappears and you feel fine. :thumbsup2

I had one the night of DH's grandmother's funeral (many years ago) and I was well taken care of also.

The thread is still going!

Thhanks Lynn:goodvibes We like just baout anything. Nature and hiking, big cities, small towns, amusement parks, lakes, oceans, forests, castles, theatre, you name it:lmao: It is rare place we do not enjoy visiting. Probably I will end up going wherever we can get the best deal on train fare and hotels/camping sites:thumbsup2

Hurray for all of you getting things booked:cheer2: It feels so official once you get to that point doesn't it?

Looking through the roll call again we are wondering where all the tweens and teens are:confused3 I am only finding three kids old enough to be in the Quest or the Stack and two of them are mine! (the other is Stephen).
Oh, I think I haven't added us to the new roll call yet....or maybe not even the old one. I can't remember. I'll have a tween and a teen. LOL (son= quest, eldest DD= stack)
:)

OH YEA! We're taking it over!! :dance3:

I read back through several pages, but I'm not 100% certain that paulasillars and BibbidyBobbidyBoo are booked.
We booked an apt. It was more room and less expensive for our family of 5 to stay in the apt we booked than PR or even PB! But wow, you guys are taking over those hotels. LOL :)

Thanks Nacho1337! Those prices are much more reasonable than taking a taxi. I've read that a taxi costs about $30/pp.

A DIS meet on the 17th sounds awesome!

Thanks Buckeye Gal for gathering and posting the roster! You rock! We arrive on 9/14.
OMG I hope a taxi doesn't cost $30 pp! that's crazy..... that'll be $150 for us to take a taxi? geesh. The apt is on the bus and train route but geesh, I really don't want to drag our luggage on either the train or the bus.... :( I might have to if the taxi cost that much. I don't wanna spend that much just getting to the apt! geesh

So I called this number, and it looks like you don't really need to call it after all! The guy at DCL didn't know why it says to call it on the website. It might be one of the numbers you want to keep on hand in case of emergencies when we are in Barcelona.

According to the guy I talked to at DCL....

Our cruise will not have the ability to book DCL tours in Barcelona.

Our cruise will be leaving at 9:31 pm and you must be on board for the lifeboat drill which he assumes will be at the normal time.

You can book transfers from one of the Disney hotels to the port. He thinks that it will be $30 pp and should be booked in advance.

He also mentioned that our cruise looked pretty full. "Not like the one going over!"
Oh bummer! (bolded part)
I saw that on the website the Barcelona excursions are listed as available for OUR cruise. Then I asked our TA about it and she said we would be able to book those excursions before the cruise. But DCL says no? Well they need to correct their website then. :(

Thank you to everyone for the well wishes.
