I am really obsessed with the cruise at the moment (nothing new there) and want to start thinking about the things I will need to make or buy for the cruise (not including regular clothing etc). Have come up with a bit of a list but have probably forgotten something so if anyone can think of anything else please let me know:

door magnets
fish extender gifts
secret mickey gifts
thank you cards for tips
thank you cards for any other cast members who help to make our cruise magical
small gifts for the above cast members
new pirate costume for me

I made luggage labels from our moto, they were really cool, also name badges for the meet,
I am really excited this week also for some reason

I am doing the same thing! I was looking at all kinds of graphics, and finally have what I *think* I want... I just need to get started on the printing, etc.

Questions for those that have done magnets before... Do you have a good source for magnetic paper, and how thick should it be? 8mm, 12mm more?

Oh - if you are bringing a matt board to be signed, or pillow case, or whatever, don't forget sharpies, candy, etc. to accompany the item to be signed...

Over the door shoe hanger. This is the most valuable thing we have learned from these boards. it really helps keep our stuff organized and handy.

WalMart has it. Probably the other big box stores also. Target, Staples. We get at Walmart for the price. I can't tell you the thickness. They all seem to be standard in the packages. I have never seen a choice of thickness.

Oh, and if you have kids in the clubs....they can't take tips, but I hear they love candy and other treats for all of them to share.

How about something to keep that pesky shower curtain from sticking to your body when taking a shower.....some suction cups should do the trick.

We are 'enjoying' weather in the high 20s (F) with no snow. Usually in January we can have some pretty serious snow. New Year's was unseasonably warm with rain and sleet, then we had some low snowfall over the past week or so. It could be worse, much worse! Looking forward to spring: daffodils, tulips, and budding trees, clean air, fresh feeling, new sun. It gets dark so soon!

I have the post-vacation blahs: we're renovating a cupboard for better storage of my multitude of kitchen appliances, and with the main floor in chaos it's a bit depressing. I long for my lovely, tidy, sunny and clean cat 3 room on the Wonder - even if the weather was lousy. Tomorrow it's getting up in the dark to get the kids to school, and return to work in earnest. I am cheering myself up with a weak cocktail of banana puree with Tortuga coconut rum, bought in Nassau. It's working, somewhat.

I would think we would be able to book for however many adults are in our room....if you want to have brunch with us of course. I think we may go to Palo for High Tea as well. Let me know and I will book for 3. Not sure about dinner, have to ask DrHug. Excursions too if we are planning the same ones. I have not even looked at them seriously yet.

I think Tea would be loverly. I am over Palo brunch, I haven't yet had a sit down breakfast in the Lumières or Tritons yet, this is a must this trip. I am thinking of doing dinner, maybe.

I've added a few things to the website, in particular, you can now sign up for Fish Extenders, Secret Mickey and Lanyards. To enter this into the database, go to the rollcall page and follow the 'Roll Call Update' link. From here you will have to login using your dis_name and password that you entered. There were a few peope that didn't enter a password before I had made it mandatory, so I just made the password 'Mickey'. I haven't created a page to update passwords, but will try to get to it soon. Lanyard info will show up immediately on the lanyard page; the FE and Secret Mickey pages are next on my list.

I did something different (and possibly cheaper?) last time.

I just printed my pages, laminated them (at work) and then just used old fridge magnets that we received from trades people and advertising etc and just cello taped them to the back.

I figured every cent saved was more to spend on the trip

I just printed off the pages, covererd them in film book covering and then stuck strips of adhesive magnetic tape to the back ... will use thicker tape this time and may glue it to the back of the pages because the adhesive isn't very strong and the magnets kept falling off.

I am doing that as much as poss, I enjoy sitting outside though.
I did not enjoy tea except for the company, very poor in my book.

We missed out on Palo last time because we were first-timers, but on our next cruise we hope to do brunch and dinner.

We really loved the High Tea the first time, but last time I thought it not as good at all, so probably won't bother.

I like Brunch the best, but wow I eat far too much.
