I've been and DisneySea is my absolute favorite Disney park inching out Walt's original by a nose. That's not to say I didn't enjoy Tokyo Disneyland, but I found DisneySea so unique and so well put together, that I just love it.

As much of a Disney freak as I am, I wouldn't pass up a chance to explore Tokyo as well, so I wouldn't spend both of your free days at Disney. The problem with that is that Tokyo does not have park hoppers (at least they didn't when I went). They do have a late entry (after 6pm) discount ticket to DL, so you could start out at DisneySea then hop over to DL in the evening. The one problem with that is that most of the Fastpasses will be gone from the major rides and you might get stuck with 1-2 hour lines. A must see for me is DL's Pooh's Hunny Hunt, it is a one of a kind attraction unlike any we have in the US parks. And there is always a minimum 1 hour line for it. Well worth it, but if you have limited time, it could be a poor use of your time.

There was a pretty good thread on the Community board, I'll see if I can find it. Also, feel free to ask if you think of any specific questions.

Edited: found the thread

Thanks for the advice! I'm leaning that way after reading up a bit more. DisneySea looks like something I can't miss even though I'd love to see another Magic Kingdom. I'm a huge Jules Verne fan. Can't believe I didn't know there was a disney/Jules Verne land...

Do you know if its important to buy tickets in advance? I've read on their website that they can suspend sales if its a busy day...

Sorry never been there but I know you have to book in advance so good idea to check that you can go to one or both of them. From what I've read elsewhere (travel guides) you need at least a day in each. I think Disneyland is the size of Aneheim and Disney Seas is slightly smaller but I'm not 100% sure. As for threads, I've never seen any on here but they must be somewhere. I may have a little nosey

Looks to be some info here:

I was wondering what had happened to the other half of my brain!! :rotfl2::lmao:

I just looked at previuos post and it sounds like something from the eurovision song contest!

Where is the motorhome these days Ang? I am boring/bored and at work, tell me somewhere nice to cheer me up!

It is parked here at home in Montana. :sad2: We may (hope, hope) get in a short trip to Arizona before the snow makes the mountain passes gettting back bad for a motorhome. And maybe a couple of short trips to state parks nearby. Otherwise, she stays put here until next summer when we want to travel the northern states. :yay: We do have a flying trip to Disneyland coming up in October for a week though. That will help with any boredom for us. I also am hoping to take a car road trip to Colorado for just a few days to visit relatives. That also would need to be before the snow flies.

We were on the EP PC Repo and have found ourselves doing that all week long too!! That was such a great vacation...

Krista

I agree it was a great trip,:thumbsup2 despite my broken foot and the fact my parents never made it to the ship because my Dad got sick.

I have my fingers crossed already for all of us to be healthy for this trip in 2010.

We did purchase our tickets early, mostly because we visited the Disney Store while touring Tokyo. There didn't seem to be outrageous lines at the ticket booths the days we went though. I'd suggesting checking out Japanese holidays to help figure out if you are visiting during a busy time then if you have the chance to get your tickets early, go for it. Any less time spent in line on your Disney day would be good. LOL.
