Ok, so I know this is pretty off topic from cruise planning... I just found out that I am going to Tokyo for a week for work in September. I've never been before and I'm excited to get to Japan. Got even more excited when I figured out my hotel is only 10 km from Disney Tokyo! I'm there over a weekend, so I'll have 2 days to play. Would like to spend one exploring the city and one at Disney. I'm trying to figure out if that's do-able at that park... If not, should I go to Disneyland or Disneysea? I didn't see a disboard area for Tokyo. Anyone here ever been or know where a good thread is? Thanks for the help!

I've been and DisneySea is my absolute favorite Disney park inching out Walt's original by a nose. That's not to say I didn't enjoy Tokyo Disneyland, but I found DisneySea so unique and so well put together, that I just love it.

As much of a Disney freak as I am, I wouldn't pass up a chance to explore Tokyo as well, so I wouldn't spend both of your free days at Disney. The problem with that is that Tokyo does not have park hoppers (at least they didn't when I went). They do have a late entry (after 6pm) discount ticket to DL, so you could start out at DisneySea then hop over to DL in the evening. The one problem with that is that most of the Fastpasses will be gone from the major rides and you might get stuck with 1-2 hour lines. A must see for me is DL's Pooh's Hunny Hunt, it is a one of a kind attraction unlike any we have in the US parks. And there is always a minimum 1 hour line for it. Well worth it, but if you have limited time, it could be a poor use of your time.

There was a pretty good thread on the Community board, I'll see if I can find it. Also, feel free to ask if you think of any specific questions.

Howdy all! Just booked this cruise after briefly booking the EBTA and deciding that you were going to have more fun! It'll be me, DH, DS6 and DD3 on this cruise. Look forward to the fun!

You could say Im excited.

We are just coming home on the sat, hols are limited and Ive been to fl so many times(and going back following Jan) I would rather spend the few extra days at the start in Barcelona being excited about cruise rather than filling in time and desperate to get home and see my 4 legged beagle babes.

Lucky you! I hope that I will get the chance to go to Disneyland Tokyo at some stage. If I only had the chance to visit one of the parks, I would definitely go for DisneySea. This park sounds absolutely amazing.

Who did you book with? I am just really surprised that you managed to book already. Normally you can only book scheduled flights 330 days out which means early November.

Welcome Aboard!!!! :yay:

Have you flown them before? If so, how is their service? We have looked at them for our flight to London. Can't beat the one-way price!!!! :thumbsup2

Yes, many times, around europe, they have been a bit guilty of cancelling flights if they are not busy in europe but never on transatlantic flights, mum had flown with them to fl, funny thing was we convined her to come to fl with us, no seats on our flight, she booked with globespan for half the price she was was due to leave 15 mins after us, we actually waved to each other sitting on the planes, and yes, typical, there was a fault with our plane, she took of and we sat in the plane for 2 hours while they checked it, and she sat in sanford waiting for us!!! So yes, I like them, they have never cancelled any of our flights, I know lots of folks who use them and transatlantic flights good. We went with them to prague, tenerife and stuff a lot and they were perfect.
I am hoping I can fly with them also to barcelona, If I can help with glasgow at all just say.
