Great! Now we just need to figure out how to get there and where to stay for 2 nights. I think PJ will be helping us sort some of that out.

Hi Everyone,

Our recommendation is the Hotel Continental on Las Ramblas. the weblink is www dot hotelcontinental dot com. choose the Hotel continental Barcelona. We loved the access to taxis, buses, the metro and those hop on hop off tour buses. Our daughter's favorite thing was the 24 hour snack bar. We found this hotel from watching Rick Steve's travel series on the PBS channel. We also purchased his Europe for the TA and Med in 2007 we took and it helped us find lunch in great local places.

Don't forget the hotels in Europe aren't controlled to only booking a year out! Some hotels book up to three years out......

I hope this helps.. I also will check with a couple other diser's who are not on this trip but stayed in BCN after the cruise. If memory services me right, the one Disney hotel in the marina was not good for the Disney price they paid.

I got a few from my travel agent, but found the others on Dinsey's website (prior to their update). They are listed at the top of the spreadsheet I mentioned above.

Thank you for the information! That is very interesting. One of my best friend's is in Spain right now so I'm very anxious to hear about it when he gets home! He has the worst luck at times. He is the only person I have ever known that was waiting for a flight back to he US from Europe - I mean in the airport- his airline filed for bankruptcy and stopped flights immediately! He had to run from airline to airline in the airport to find a flight back home! I'm hoping not too bad happens to him during this trip because he is in my wedding!

It's been an interesting last couple of days - I've been working on my resume, the wedding and shopping with my family! If anyone is familiar with PA, we went outlet shoppin in Lancaster yesterday. It proved to be a great trip! I got bridesmaids gifts from Coash (wristlets that were under $25 each!), a sweater for my flowergirl to wear as well as her dress!!!!!! It was a nice day too.

LOL that's what we did on the WBTA too so sounds good to me. All we added was "a day in Disney life" with facts each day about Disney which I think wasn't in Linda's

We probably did. Was it Linda that organised that lovely pre-cruise meet in was it Old Key West? We went to that before the cruise. I'm rubbish with names though so appologies if the name's wrong! Didn't do the WBPC unfortunately as couldn't get on. So glad I got this one though.

I believe it was Scott and Lynne that did the Old Key West before the TA. We weren't able to make it to that gathering. I am wondering if we met on the TA . We did a lot the Dis activities on the ship. Yes we did the WBPC 08! Did you?

Thats what we did too. I made treasure type maps for everyone which I might try to post somewhere for people to see. On one side it had the room number incase people got lost and the other a cryptic description of how to get to the room. Even rolled them like scrolls and left them for people the day before the to

Just stopping to say "Hi" and that we are going camping tonight for two nights. I think I am just a little too old to be sleeping on the ground. DD and I are off to Big cottonwood canyon to find a spot for camping. Thank goodness it is only 30 minutes from the house. If it gets too cold we can come home. Unfortunately it is has been like fall here the past couple of days and cool in the evening. No a/c just windows and ceiling fans. I know the heat will be back in no time. Babbling too much. have some great days!

Lots and lots.

Both her and her fiance have large families. Her Mom had 11 siblings, her Dad had 14 siblings. Her fiance has lots of Aunts and Uncles. He is one of 5 siblings. Most of them have adult or almost grown children.

They both have a large group of friends and business contacts.

I made 112 invitations for the bridal shower.

The thing that makes no sense to me is the size of her wedding party. Then again it is not my wedding. It is super tiny. It is maid of honor, best man, flower girl and ring bearer. That is it. Part of it was because they did not want to have to select 1 person over another.

You know I was so terrible when i got married, we pretty much invited who we wanted and didnt worry, even after 17years I feel we done the right thing, its terrible we feel we have to do the right thing for everybody else on your wedding day.

My God how close was I lol. No we didn't manage the WBPC though.
I'm sure we probably did meet at some point on the cruise. I think we ended up chatting to most disers.

It was really fun last time and people seemed to enjoy it - also didn't loose anyone on the route so I guess it worked well.
