Ah shes so pretty!

Seriously bug Disney to let you all bring your doggies on the cruise! I'll look after them lol

So my mom booked a 3 day disney cruise for next week. we need our disney fix. we havent been on the ship since September for my 21st birthday and we havent been in florida in 3 weeks . We went to the super soap weekend. Definitely need my disney fix and to relax with the stuff going on here. Its been crazy stressful. So really cant wait to relax

Oh Im so jealous! My parents have reverted to the dark side and are doing Silversea this week instead of Disney! Not very fair seeing as I was hoping they'd do Disney so they could send Dan a postcard from Castaway pretending to be Mickey lol

Thank you. Weims can be very rambunctious to say the least. Many people who adopt them end up giving them up because they are such high need dogs. We really lucked out with Grayce as she is pretty much a couch potato. She loves her long walks in the morning but will sleep in the sun the rest of the day, until I want to sit and watch TV then she thinks it is time to play the in and out the door game.
lol! I think this is actually the 'laugh at the idiots' game as my sisters dog does this too and I'm sure she's just trying to annoy me and see how many times I can open the back door for her to go out!

They are ADORABLE, do they cuddle in together?Do they go under your duvet? we are working on getting a sister for orly,at 5years he has finally calmed down a bit(well for him anyway) they are not common at all in the uk compared to usa and to get the right one is dificult, We are going to visit a lady next week that has a beagle who is due pups at the newyear, thepups dad is the same as orly so it will be a half sister, we want tri colour, Orly was meant to be a girl but that litter we waited on to be born also and there was no girls:sad2:
Orlys mum and dad are champions(mum won crufts) but that is not important to me I just want something to love!!

I agree you don't see many beagles over here really. Hopefully though there'll be a little sister for Orly in the New Year. Any ideas on dates yet (I know with dogs its rough)

Interesting to see several folks from Michigan....I'm originally from the Upper Peninsula from the Gwinn/Marquette area. My parents still live up there actually.

What we need to do is do some sort of map with everyone on so we can see where people are from. I'm going to have a nose and see if I can find anything around that we can use (as not very artistic with things like this).

I think we're going to have to let the Americans make a decision on this one. And though I love the Welsh accent for the memory of my uncles...it's the Scottish accent that really 'gets' me. ;) Is anyone brining a dad or grandpa along on this cruise? :rolleyes1 I've always dreamed of living half the year in Scotland and half the year here in the desert, with trips to WDW and cruises during the 'transition' times. :lmao:

Well, I'm not going to get caught up on this thread now....have to jump in the car and drive home. Gotta be there in time to see 'Bones'.

lol! I actually do like the Scottish accent more so agree wholeheartidly. No dad or grandpa coming here (although knowing my family anything could happen by then)

Happy to oblige. These are my two fur-babies (my little girls)...

This is Moush (names b/c when you pick her up she becomes a pile of Moush in your arms):

This is Oola. She came with her name. It is short for Oh-la-la, we were told.

We do love our fur-babies, but are hoping to add a human baby to the mix sometime soon... :goodvibes

Ah they are so pretty! So are you hoping for the little one before the cruise?

My favorite characters are the Villians- especially Maleficent, Ursula, Cruella, Queen of Hearts; I also like Squirt from Finding Nemo

My favorite CM's include- Dave, DJ Dan, Luke, Claire, and Ponz

Yeah to Dave!!!
I do like the Queen of Hearts actually as she's so funny

Hope everyone is doing well! Everyone getting ready for Christmas? Working on it here... gotta get those lights up on the house next weekend. We're procrastinating a bit this year!

Don't mention Christmas! I've decided to ban it as I've had enough already! Went in to get 1 gift (a £1 teddy bear) and the queue was 20 minutes on a Monday lunch time! No way am I shopping any more! Just can't stand it now!

Dan still has loads to do according to him but is waiting until the 20th when he gets paid!

Good evening everyone!

Glad to see that the question of the week is such a success! I love getting to know my fellow cruisers!

My family and I decorated one of our two Christmas trees tonight. It's mostly the Disney tree...we have SO many ornaments! Next year the tree won't be so full because I'll be taking my ornaments with me when I get married. :)

Hope everyone is having a great night! :)

I'm doing the tree this weekend I think - assuming I get it from my mothers to actuall decorate! We've had 2 bulbs blow in the living room and have only 1 replacement so hoping the xmas lights will brighten the room up (there's one of those stupid 4 light things in the living room of the flat for no apparent reason).

Love the pictures of the pets! No dogs allowed at my place, but here's a picture I love of my parent's dogs.

Cassidy is the 13.5 year old Golden, and Killian is the 5 year old Wheaton

Ah! I'm so glad I'm not the only one with a dog ban in place! One day I will be able to get a new puppy! I'm going to post a pic of my old dogs when Im home later and my sisters dog Zoey!

awwww that is just so sad , Oh yes I am sure he will be on the look out ... Hey Did i tell you when we went to MK after the cruise that we got dreamed again with Dream Passes ... Here is the proof , and of course our pic in DL last March ..

My God you guys are lucky! I never even saw a Dream Squad last time!

yes, due the 6th jan not that I am obsessing or anything!;)
You would not want to look after orly,he has the attention span of a tadpole,he also likes the in,out game, he also waits till you are on the phone till he steals something, when he was a year we took him to a behaviourist! he was so hard work and clever, the final straw was when he got stuck head first in mums bin and she had get dad home from work to get him out, once again he was at mums, when we go out he gets locked in his cage (not as much now) so we went away to fl all happy, dad put him in his cage and went to work for 4 hours, he come back to orly standing on the work top with half a melon in his mouth looking out the window waiting not so patiently on someone coming home, he totaly trashed mums house, telly knocked over, the lot, dad put him in his cage and locked the door, he neglected to lock the side door when he built the cage earlier that am, so Orly hit jackpot!:scared1:

re posting pics of treea, i was thinking yes, i have a nice picture of my lilac tree in spring, doh, I so so thick sometimes!

Did you book through RCCL or a TA?

We booked a RCCL cruise for Jan. 4 though a TA, and regularly received new invoices after each payment, credit, and a cabin change. Our cruise docs arrived the other day, over a month before sailing.

Woody

booked through rccl

Yeah I'm lucky! Still when it gets to 30 mins in and you run out of work but have another 7 hours ahead of you it gets old quickly lol.

maybe you should divide your work up 3 minutes and 45 seconds of work every hour:rotfl2:

I know what you mean about so many ornaments. I had to decorate two trees over the weekend....I got an artificial one for the first time this year, and it was beautiful, until a section of lights kept blowing out (it was pre-lit). So I had to get another one, which means I had to un-decorate the first one and jam a 7'5" tall tree back into its box and bring it back, and then re-decorate the second. It looks good, but I really miss the smell of a real tree...Yankee Candle sells car jars for the tree, but it's not the same.

Hey, we should all post pictures of our trees, as I am sure we all have at least a few disney ornaments!

We usually have two trees up (both artificial as we are so likely to travel over the season and do not want a dry tree to be a fire hazard). In the living room goes the "main" tree decorated with a hodgepodge of ornaments. Many date back to mine and David's childhoods and the tree topper is a felt Santa from my grandmother's childhood:) The Lionel train goes around this one and the Christmas gifts go under it.

In the dining room we have a narrower tree which is our Disney Tree. Everything on it is Disney (our friend who we introduced to WDW always sends a bag of Disney ornamnets each year so it is FULL). It is topped by Rio's mouseears from his first trip (10 months old--they are so tiny:lovestruc ) and the monorail goes around the base. This is the tree all of the birthday gifts go under (3 of us have December birthdays).

This year is WEIRD:confused3 the narrow tree (Disney one) is being used on stage for the Christmas at the OK Corral show. So, on the day after Thanksgiving (when we always put the trees up if we are home) the kids decided to bury the one lone tree in ALL of the ornaments until the other comes home. Oh my gosh--you can hardly see any green:rotfl2: At least they did not put the monorail AND they train around the base (opted for the monorail:thumbsup2 Disney always wins of course). At least ALL the gifts fit easily enough. With a likely move overseas all gifts this year must be small and easy to pack;)
Hi Deanna,

Don't know if you know it or not, but a thread was started for kids only on this cruise by Justthe8ofus I think. Here is the link:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2001553

My daughters will be 9 & 14 at cruise time and are looking to meet others their age.

Todd, is it possible to provide the link to this thread on the 1st page?

Many thanks,

Linda

That's fabulous:thumbsup2 Once we get through this moving thiing I am sure Marika and Rio will be active on it.

Interesting to see several folks from Michigan....I'm originally from the Upper Peninsula from the Gwinn/Marquette area. My parents still live up there actually.

My brother in law lives in Hancock in the U.P. we head up there at least once a year.
