Well in Hadley's absence....it feels like we haven't had a QOTW for a while (or maybe it's just me). Hadley emailed me last night/this morning and they are safely back from Germany...butu I don't know how soon she'll be back to the DIS....so I'll throw a question out for this week:

What is your favorite Disney Parks ride or attraction? (You may choose from ANY Disney park worldwide!)

Mine is Tower of Terror and Jason's is probably Mission Space (the puke-inducing version).

I love The Haunted Mansion at Walt Disney World Florida. I see something new everytime I ride it. I have probably been on it 50 times in the last 8 years.
2nd favorite is Pirates of the Carribean same park.

For a classic attraction, I like the Carousel of Progress, weird, I know.
I also like the Rockin Roller Coaster.

Jason LOVES the Carousel of Progress...LOL

I love the Carousel of Progress too!!!! That song is so catchy!!!

I'll have to ask Dave for his answer to the QOTW and then I'll post both of ours together.

MoyCoy, Remy is so cute!!!!!!

We're getting a winter storm overnight into tomorrow...one station is saying 1-2 inches and another station is saying 6-10 inches...we'll have to wait and see! :) Regardless of the weather, I'll be at work tomorrow.

OK, good, so I have company! I have no idea why I like it, and I have even gotten stuck on it when I was younger. You would think I'd hate it after hearing the song over and over and over again!!!

Us too....I've heard we could get up to a foot. I'm excited, because I am off. I was supposed to finish up the Christmas shopping, but will be baking Christmas cookies and making tons of chocolate covered pretzels instead.

DisneyC, love the chocolate covered pretzels, yummmy! 1st try came about at a sorority sisterhood event that included chocolate fondue. We also ended up dipping popcorn and potato chips, lol.

Favourite Disney ride/attraction: Screaming at DCA, Carousel of Progress at MK.

Oh man.....favorite attraction...that's a tough one:

Love TOT, always have to do Buzz multiple times, as well at TEACUPS! Love California Screaming and RNR and Soarin (wish there was a new film now though).

QOTW:

My favourite all time attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean: I prefer the Disneyland Paris version to the WDW version, although I do like the Jack Sparrow additions to the WDW ride. I have never been to Disneyland in California but I would love to one day, just to ride the original Pirates of the Caribbean.

Oh God this is a hard one:

I think its probably either Kilamanjaro Safari's or the original Spaceship Earth (haven't been on since Jeremy Irons' voice was removed and replaced by Judi Dench).

Dan's I believe was Toy Story Mania which I also love!

W are going next year and was not going to bother going?? but now you have me thinking, maybe we do need a disney fix next year?
I dont know, how can you choose ??

I too love rocknroller coatster ans mission to mars.

My very favorite ride is the Teacups at Magic Kingdom. I just love to spin. It makes me laugh and laugh. DH gets green around the gills, so we only go once per trip, but it is so fun!

Ok, for REAL rides, Soarin is pretty awesome, but we had a BLAST on Toy Story Mania a few months ago.

Actually you're all raising some good ones, too. I, too, love the Safari....we probably ride that about 8 times per visit to the world. We love Everest, too, but I usually only need to ride it once depending on the wait times. We enjoyed Toy Story Mania, as well, but the waits for that ride are craziness in WDW so we only got to ride it a few times.

Great question!

I don't think I can pick just one favorite - how about one per park? At WDW it has to be Rockin' Roller Coaster. I wish they had that in DL. I love Soarin' at Ca Adventure and the original Pirates at DL. And even though it is cheesy, no trip to DL is complete without a spin through it's a small world!

It's a Small World is DD5's favorite - she's singing the song right now:upsidedow .

I'll have to ask DH his favorite. I know he loves Carousel of Progress and was bummed when it left DL.

DD13 loves Screamin' at CA adventure, and I'm not sure about DD14.

Updates later.

Definitely the exit gate

Soarin at WDW is my favorite followed by POC at WDW. We couldn't get near either Toy Story when we were there a couple of weeks ago nor could we get on Soarin and we went to Epcot twice on that trip   both had 90 minute and longer wait even with fast pass Note to self:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 don't go at Thanksgiving again
