That's how it's going to be here tomorrow...OK well not 6 degrees, but today it was up in the 60's and now we have a winter storm watch for tomorrow! This weather is crazy!

Us too - 57 today and tomorrow high only 34 with rain/snow mix for the next 2 days. Gross!

Speaking of which have any of you men out there used the Disney tux hire at all? Dan's not sure whether to get a tux or just hire one onboard and wanted to know whether people have ever had any problems?

Jason and I rented onboard tuxes on the EB TA last time...it was fine for what it was...but once we realized we'd need a tux for every 7 night or longer DCL trip we took we realized it's just a better investment to buy a Tuxedo of our own....and then we watched for sales and were actually able to get our tuxes at a storewide 50% off sale so we basically got a buy one get one free deal on two tuxes.

Just buy one, then you find excuses /reasons to wear it. That was like Lnes kilt, he rented one twice in ten years, then bought one and gets it on for any occasion he can think off,too right, he looks gowwwwgoush in it!

The school group who was scheduled to visit the science center where I work canceled already! Oh well...it will be a quiet day...maybe we can just sit around, listen to Christmas songs and drink coffee!

lol you don't know Dan though! He has to wear shirt and trousers to work and hates that so can't see him wanting to wear a suit ever lol! To be fair he is in IT and I think wearing shirt and trousers is stupid when you're in a job that requires you to move stuff etc.

Howdy all,
well it is 16 degrees this morning and solid ice everywhere.
Tonight is suppose to be even colder and in the afternoon we are going to get freezing rain turning to snow at night.

My home in Florida is looking better and better right now Too bad its rented until June.


Nothing else new in Oregon. I think Angie and Dennis are suppose to get some of our storm in L.A.. Rain and snow. Hope they will stay in and be safe.

Time to do a water check, it froze last night and had to thaw wrapped pipes with my blow dryer. I am keeping a slow stream of water to help it not to freeze up again.

Kathy, I am SO glad we are in So Cal right now! Good luck with the pipes and all that ice and snow. We did get alot of rain night before last and yesterday, but by mid afternoon it was clearing enough that we went over to DL for a few hours. More rain thru the night, but it is sunny this morning. More rain expected late today so we are heading to the parks in just a few minutes.

Sarah - last year we bought both our DSs tuxedos from Matalan - I think it was £35 for the jacket and £12 for the trousers. The shirt / bowtie / cummerbund (?sp) came in a pack and was £12. As you seem to cruise often it would probably be a better investment to buy rather than hire one. If you have a decent sized Asda you can get them in there at similar prices.
