Beth is doing very well. She slept great last night and even was allowed some liquids today. Jello, apple juice, tea and chicken broth were on her menu for the day. Hopefully if all goes well, she'll get to start eating solid food tomorrow and maybe even come home.
Good news!! Hope she is home soon.
Noel, we are currently on the August 9-16 AK cruise on the Wonder. We have another one on the Dream in October, but I can't remember the dates...and I'm hoping we can afford it!
Our reservations had gone through and indoor Dreams name, but DCL never informed them. I emailed Kelsie at Dreams and she could access the reservation and sorted it. So, seems they were actually transferred, but no notification sent to Dreams.
Quoting myself as I haven't learned how to do some things on my iPad like when replying to a quote, being able to scroll down to the bottom like I can on a normal computer!!!! Also there is somt predictive stuff going on when I type and if I don't check thoroughly some odd words appear
So, sorry about the typo above. Just meant the reservation went through and IN Dreams'.
I mentioned that the second was probably a 2012 cruise in the post #2 but if John can't make the WBTA, we may just do that one.Noel - one of your dates must be off or you definitely have to rebook the 9/20/11 one if you're on the 9/10/11 14-day cruise!!
We returned home after nine days in Peru.
The highlight was a day at Machu Picchu, which is absolutely breathtaking.

Machu Picchu is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. (I have been to four of them.)
We also visited Uros Islands on Lake Titicaca, which was just incredible. Lake Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the world.

These islands are man-made using reeds. So walking on an island is "squishy," like walking on an air mattress.
Happy travels to all!

It was so nice meeting you and Marc - Tom and I looked forward to dinner every evening.
We may have to push our 2012 cruise - DD became engaged this past weekend!
But it is hard to imagine cruising for less then 14 days- we certainly are spoiled....

Finally home, back to reality.Several loads of laundry done today, went thru a months worth of mail and a trip to the grocery store.
We had 10 wonderful days at WDW after the cruise and loved seeing friends around. We flew to Spokane, WA on Tues evening, arrived around 11 pm WA time and stayed with friends overnight. Friends from Missoula drove the 3 hours trip to pick us up yesterday and then drove us home. It was a beautiful drive, the leaves are turning coming over the passes.
I have to check on our rebooked trips. We booked them, then Leslie told Penny that "Mom and Dad" had a couple of trips on hold. Penny told her she was sure we thought they were booked. We received confirmed schedules from her after that, but DU has sent us an email saying we could get OB credit if tx to them. Seems Leslie may not have tx the bookings to DU as we requested. Tomorrow I will try to follow up on that.

On a HAPPY note, our DD becaame engaged this weekend so we have LOTS of fun planning ahead.
