That's all:

Tim :)

So I thought I would update everyone and let you know that the interviews on the 30th went well. I had to go back again this past Wednesday to interview with my potential boss's boss (he was on vacation the week I initially interviewed). Well it went well enough that they offered me the position! As noted, I will be making slightly less money and it's further away but I loved the atmosphere at the company and am excited for the new challenge. Thanks for all your well wishes - it worked!!!

Congratulations on your new job - wishing you all the best when you start work

Congratulations on your new job. When will you start?

Corinna

Congratulations on your new job - wishing you all the best when you start work

Thanks! I am quite excited about it. It is a longer commute but I really think I'm going to like it. My last day at my present job is 1/7th. Based on that, my new boss is willing to wait for me to start on 1/10th which will allow me to get my severance pay (16 weeks) and my bonus.

My problem now will be to stay focused on my current job until 1/7!!

That is great that the new boss is willing to wait a month for you! :cheer2:

Well I am really pleased to be able to tell you that Taryn my DD is now officially a WDW Disney Cast Member for next summer .... she has been accepted on the ICP and has a post in merchandising. She is thrilled and very excited ( I am very nervous .. the though of her travelling across the globe single handed is quite a scary one given her organisational skills deficit! )

On the downside .... this means no WBTA cruise for us in September :sad1: as we will be going to Orlando to visit Taryn and bring her back home. The dates are not the best as we were hoping to squeeze in a Dream cruise but because she doesn't finish the program until 2nd September, and DS will need to be back for college the first week in September.

I am thinking of doing a Med cruise in October as it is Tony's 50th birthday, but unfortunately it won't be with DCL :sad1:

Wooo Hooo for Taryn. That is exciting.

Me and my mom just got back yesturday from doing the 4 day cruise on the wonder. Castaway looks sooo empty without the flying dutchman there.

It will not be the same.

We went to see Tangled yesterday. We loved it. Dennis has a new favorite princess! :lovestruc

Tonight we went to the Missoula Children's Theater and saw White Christmas. Not sure why it's the Children's Theater as the actors were not children. :rolleyes1:confused3 But, fun and they did a good job of the play.
I think they do actually put on plays with children there as well. I saw they have acting workshops for various ages.

We enjoyed Tangled too. My daughter was excited to see a green-eyed princess, as she has green eyes. Angie, how is the snow piling up there in Montana?

We are aiming to book the 2012 WBTA too. Just love those extra hours!!!!;) We are working on building up our Virgin points to get the reward flight back.

2012 huummm?

As a former pilot, I though I would pass along this little snippet from the recent BA Flight Operations Department Notice for our dear British friends:

"*** British Airways Flight Operations Department Notice ***

There appears to be some confusion over the new pilot role titles. This notice will hopefully clear up any misunderstandings. The titles P1, P2, and Co-Pilot will now cease to have any meaning, within the BA operations manuals. They are to be replaced by:

Handling Pilot, Non-handling Pilot, Handling Landing Pilot, Non-Handling Landing Pilot, Handling Non-Landing Pilot, and Non Handling Non-Landing Pilot.

The Landing Pilot, is initially the Handling Pilot and will handle the take-off and landing except in role reversal when he is the Non-Handling Pilot for taxi until the Handling Non-Landing Pilot, hands the handling to the Landing Pilot at eighty knots. The Non-Landing (Non-Handling, since the Landing Pilot is handling) Pilot reads the checklist to the Handling Pilot until after Before Descent Checklist completion, when the Handling Landing Pilot hands the handling to the Non-Handling Non-Landing Pilot who then becomes the Handling Non-Landing Pilot.

The Landing Pilot is the Non-Handling Pilot until the "decision altitude" call, when the Handling Non-Landing Pilot hands the handling to the Non-Handling Landing Pilot, unless the latter calls "go-around", in which case the Handling Non-Landing Pilot, continues Handling and the Non-Handling Landing Pilot continues non-handling until the next call of "land" or "go-around", as appropriate.

In view of the recent confusion over these rules, it was deemed necessary to restate them clearly.

:confused3

I wonder if they came up with the new rules after watching reruns of the movie - Airplane :rotfl:

Wow, where does the time go? Can you all believe it is just two weeks until Christmas?

It is piled. We have actually had a break the last several days. It warmed up to the mid 30's. Kinda feeling like a spring thaw, well traveled roads are clear - our street still has some slush on it. But alas, more snow and colder weather headed our way mid week "they" say. Our grandson that moved back to OR (Corvallis) to go to college (from the University of Montana here) says he is really missing being able to head up and snow board before class, go to class, and then back up for another run or two before dark.

Last but not least this is how Orly stole his advent calnder, I never thought he could manage it, but we teased him with popcorn to see how he had done it!

Love your photos ... wouldn't have loved that much snow though ... the poor horses must have been freezing.:hug: Has it all melted away now.

Have to laugh at Orly scaling the shelves to get to the advent calendar :rotfl2:

I have just noted your countdown Marilyn and Lynne ..... let me just point out at this particular moment in time how insanely jealous I am !!!!

Only kidding .... hope you have a fantastic time on the Panama Cruise .... I will look forward to hearing about it when you get back.

Well I wish you were onboard, and I know Lynne will do too. My countdown goes from the cruise date, we actually leave in under 3 weeks!!:yay: (Wish I could jump up and down like that!!!:lmao:)

We are doing the inagural Fantasy in April 2012, would like to do another TA but wouldn't be able to manage two cruises in one year.

Hope everyone is doing well,
Jon
