Thanks Annie. I would be doing it for the itinerary rather than the ship, as the cruise I am thinking about goes to Venice, Croatia and Greece. Won't be planning DCL until 2012 I'm afraid. I am never going to get GOLD status at this rate!

Well I am really pleased to be able to tell you that Taryn my DD is now officially a WDW Disney Cast Member for next summer .... she has been accepted on the ICP and has a post in merchandising. She is thrilled and very excited ( I am very nervous .. the though of her travelling across the globe single handed is quite a scary one given her organisational skills deficit! )

On the downside .... this means no WBTA cruise for us in September as we will be going to Orlando to visit Taryn and bring her back home. The dates are not the best as we were hoping to squeeze in a Dream cruise but because she doesn't finish the program until 2nd September, and DS will need to be back for college the first week in September.

I am thinking of doing a Med cruise in October as it is Tony's 50th birthday, but unfortunately it won't be with DCL

Hooray for Taryn!! Sorry you won't be with us on the WBTA but maybe you can join John and I on the 2012 Fantasy Inaugural in April.

We are enjoying year two in Roseburg, OR and the “Small Town America” feeling. We went to the Christmas Tree Lighting in front of the Courthouse downtown where there were Christmas carols and a Live Manger scene including a donkey and a sheep. Santa arrived on an ATV with police escort.

The way small town celebrate the arrival of Santa can be interesting. When Santa arrives in our town it is on a pilot boat.

I would do that in a shot but work only let us have 2 weeks off in the July, August, September 3 month period. It's a real pain.

Dont worry, we wont mention it. CAnt mind when we sail but We are back before 31st, we didnt fancy the weather around the med in october so we are going to tenerife direction, its 11 nights.

"The Flying Dutchman pirate ship, from the Pirates of the Caribbean film series, is on display in the lagoon. As of the final week in November 2010, the Flying Dutchman had been removed and taken to another location in the island where it was being dismantled as pictures show below."

On the DIBB (one of the UK boards) they are saying that the black pearl may be on its way, hopefully someone will have some insider knowledge and let us know what Disney plans????

At least I own something money can't buy now - pictures of the flying Dutchman at Castaway Cay - never thought I'd say that.

We miss you too! Today I'm missing the cruise more than most! My Aunty & Uncle are coming from North Carolina (I'm in Florida) my sister and her boyfirend left last night so we need to clean their bedroom and bathroom do the washing and then give the villa a general tidy. Where is the room host when you need one or even two?????

You must be getting excited about the Pananma now? If the 3 ships are all at castaway together make sure you get some good pictures, that is something I would love to see. I'll have my fingers crossed that they are all together.

We've decided to do the 2012 transatlantic just waiting for prices.

Hope Edinburgh hasn't been too badly hit with the bad weather, my sister had a burst pipe in the room where she stores all her work equipment so is dealing with that this morning!

Are you hoping to do the EBTA or WBTA in 2012. I am hoping that I can talk Graham into doing the EBTA in 2012. In October or November 2012, we are hoping to do a cruise on the Fantasy. I am hoping for November as I would love to spend my birthday on a ship, but good friends of ours are probably going in October so we might decide to join them instead.
