Sept 18 2010 WB TransAtlantic Pirates/Capt Jacks Re-Repoing Repossession Cruise Pt.10

Greetings from Lake Titicaca, Puno, Peru, where we are continuing our adventures.

On Wednesday, we visited Machu Picchu, which is absolutely breathtaking.

We enjoyed the WBTA and seeing so many friends --old and new. Thank you to those who organized activities, lanyards, wristbands, and everything else that made the cruise so special.

OK haven't caught up at all yet so appologises. Just wanted to say thank you all for making our vacation so fantastic. We got back yesterday and are shattered lol! Will post more soon.

Totally fun cruise! Thanks so much for your cheery faces. Loved the time we spent with Giles and Lorraine and so happy to meet Gus and Chasity! We expect both couples to come and visit!

We're book for the May TA with the kids. Can't wait!

Hi 'neighbour'! :goodvibes it was great to meet you onboard (and on the shuttle going from the Renaissance...weren't we all excited!) :)

I still can't believe that people take stuff from FE's... Especially non FE gift things!!! As for gifts... We had a few gifts that were in folders - the folders were there but gifts were not... :(

I'm jealous! I am in major withdrawl here!! I want to see a flood of "pirate" shirts and yellow lanyards!

Absolutely!!

For those that might be interested, we are looking for a 7 night (hopefully on the Fantasy) for the week of September 15 - 23 2012.

As soon as the itineraries are posted I will open a meet thread :) WAHOO! Let the planning begin!

Sue!
The whole time... everytime I walked by your FE- stuffed to the gills with stuff... I thought oh man I hope no one takes her stuff. You didn't empty it out fast enough! :(
Grrr at people stealing. I did really think that quite a few times as I walked past your room quite a few times. But I poo'd my own worrying thinking surely not on deck 8 with no reason for anyone to be walking by there except to get to/from their room. It's not like your room was right next to the elevators. they actually dug in folders and took stuff and left the folders so you'd know they took something? horrible. :sad2:

We might join you on Fantasy... we're waiting to see what the itineraries are though. If any ship goes to hawaii- we're on it. Likewise if any ship is out of Galveston- we'll be on it. LOL
If neither of those things happen.... we'll be on Fantasy somewhere, might as well be those dates. haha

Wondering if someone can help me out... Is anyone going to be cruising in the Caribbean or Bahamas before Christmas that is willing to get off the ship upon reaching Castaway Cay?

Stephen grabbed a shirt - and the hanger said it was an adult medium, but it is a small and doesn't fit. Well, it fits - but is skin tight. It was the only real thing he got (besides the Viking helmet) and I would love to get him the right size.

I am willing to paypal $$ ahead of time for the shirt and the shipping if anyone will be there!

Thanks guys!!
aw man, that stinks! They really did have the clothing all mix-matched sizes..... I imagine a lot of people probably bought the wrong size because of that. :(
I wish I was cruising again this year to get it for you! I hope he can get a shirt that fits, if he's anything like Robert there's no way he wants to wear a shirt that is tight. LOL Even shirts that fit- Robert says they fit a bit small. *rolling my eyes at him*

Wow Woody, you don't hang around do you? How amazing to visit Peru.

It was great to finally get to actually chat to you. Perhaps someday we will cruise together again and we can continue the chat.

Enjoy your continuing vacation.

Something different but when we left Orlando there was on the news a story of a guy who was killed by a jetskitrip. And they were looking if his wife had to do whit it. Is there some news?

Well, we are back home and simply collapsed last night. We arrived in Mexico City on Friday evening and stayed at a hotel near the airport. Took the bus from the airport to home on Saturday arriving about 2:30 p.m., so it wasn't too horrid. We get to pick up the dogs today; wonder if they'll remember us?

It was great meeting so many of you; lots of fun conversations everywhere we turned. We booked a few cruises for down the road (rebooked the TA for next September but may have to postpone that one) so hope to see some of you on those as well!

Be well, everyone!!!

I think the odds of cruising with Woody and Mrs Woody again some day are pretty high .... we have only cruised twice and both times with Mr and Mrs Woody. It would be great to do it a third time though :thumbsup2

For those who rebooked something onboard and had it transferred straight away to Dreams, have you heard anything from them yet? I am sure we have normally heard before now.

No, but I have had this problem before that DCL never told them that they had been nominated. I ended up emailing them the DCL confirmation numbers after about a month and they were then able to claim those bookings from DCL. I emailed Kelsie my DCL confirmation number for the Panama Canal cruise yesterday and I am hoping to hear back tomorrow.

I started to wonder if this had been screwed up as previously it had my travel agents name and the DU address on the confirmation, but this time it had my name and address. As soon as I got home, I checked my reservation online and it does say that I need to contact my travel agent for any changes.

I need to get her on the case fairly swiftly once they have taken control of the booking. I made the mistake to check the prices for the cruise today and noticed that I can get a Navigator Veranda for around the same amount that I paid for the category 11B on the ship. Even better, I would be able to choose a specific cabin so I am seriously considering upgrading.

Kelsie is my TA, and I do know she doesn't always get back to me too quickly when I send her queries, so just wondered if this was the case or not or if generally DCL have been slow passing the bookings on. I guess we have almost a year, but you not that long!!!:headache:

Marilyn, everything you do goes double, even your pms you send me, is it your new posh lap top playing games?

Michael, I dont think we met, I kept going up to folk that looked like your picture(very remotely) and saying "are you Michael?" I stopped after a few times:confused:
Anyway, sorry we missed you.

I am now really pleased that I didn't rebook on the ship .... I am now finding prices online which are less than the ones I was quoted on the ship, even taking into account the booking on board discount. This happened to us last time aswell. :confused3:confused3:confused3

I still can't book anything until we know whether DD Taryn has got a place on the WDW college programme for summer 2011. That will dictate our plans for 2011, as if she gets it we will have to travel to Orlando to see her at some point. She has her first interview in about 2 weeks so all pixie dust you can spare would be useful :wizard:

Do we have a list of who is cruising when and where in 2011, just out of interest :thumbsup2
