Hello everyone...that is those of you who are still home! I got my fingers and toes done tongiht The dog it at my girlfriends The little guys are in bed The luggage is ready to go in the car Now all I need to do is get some sleep just to wake up to the alarm at 3am

DSis (KSUmom) is in route to Kansas City. Last I talked to her, her and DH were trying to pack the van! It was hilliarious I was on the phone with my neice cracking up...I could hear DSis explaining why they had one suitcase full of just shoes

This will probably be my last post until we arrive in FL tomorrow. I have mobile web, so I am sure I will read and post later tomorrow evening.

Hi to those left here with me. I am still going strong. Have not packed a thing yet for me, DH or Dkids. The house is clean though and the "thoughts" of what I am bringing are gathered in my head.

I told DH about the tropical wave. He didn't care. He said get me on the ship and I am good to go anywhere it wants to take me. Even if it is in cirlces I guess that will be fine.

I am sitting here waiting for Tracy to get in with her family. DH just left to get them from the airport. Their flight was delayed an hour so they should be here by 12:30 a.m. UGH.

I cannot believe our cruise is just one more day away.

Well going to get a snack and wait patiently for my cruise buddy.

I have nothing new to report - I was sad to see the oldest man in his tribe get voted off of Survivor: Guatemala tonight. It's sad how the young always turn on the old. Don't worry, though, friends; I won't show you old folks the same disdain.



Karen, Tracy should post while at your house; there's internet there, you'll be posting, and so there's really no excuse not to hear from her!

By the way, Donna (ragdoll), congrats on the upgrade, and I will certainly make note of your cabin number so you get a reminder sign. You are my new star pupil since you care enough to GET a sign. May I just say... these things are works of art. Murals smurals, I say to Jen - DIS reminder signs are masterpie (masterpiece in the plural )

I just can't believe tomorrow is the day before we leave. It doesn't feel real yet. However, at 2:30 AM on Saturday when DSis is attempting to drag my lazy carcass out of bed, I'm sure it will feel all to real. <----- that's the "kicking and screaming, don't make me get out of bed, I don't care what I said, even DISNEY can't be worth this unholy hour of the day" smilie.

But then here comes this smilie to kick that whiny smilie's toosh.

Greetings from the Comfort Inn @ Kansas City Airport! Gotta love wireless!!

OK.. I left with 9 pieces of actual luggage, 1 small garmet bag, 2 regular size, 2 duffle bags (larger), 3 med suitcases & 1 larger one! I did actually unload a few clothes and a few pair of shoes.. my tennis shoes, I prob. won't wear & DH's sandals, he's not into sandals... so a little lighter.. also combined a few of the kids carryon's and are leaving 3 backpacks behind, which leaves us with 4 backpacks, one of which my laptop is in. It's been more stressfull packing than planning the whole trip for 1 1/1 year!!

I'm down here in the hotel lobby at 12:07 am printing our boarding passes and we have to leave on the 5:30 shuttle! Which means I'll be up in a few hours lugging those 9 suitcases down to the shuttle!! Thank goodness for older kids!! They can help... yea right!

Hey there, KSUMom, why are you still up? Look who's talking. I have to be @ Cols airport @ 4:30 AM!!! Well, looks like no use even trying to go to bed now! Everything is ready to go out the door by 4:00 AM. Now I just need to figure out who is actually going to take me to the airport or if I am going to end up driving myself! DD who isn't going on the cruise said she would come up & take me, but she isn't exactly dependable, so I doubt that will happen. DH also not cruising with us, works nights, so he is driving his big rig right now & may get in town in time to take me, so that's a big "if"!! So my bet is that I will end up driving myself, which in that case, I"d better get my car packed up real soon & head to the airport!
In any case, I AM getting to the airport & get on that 6 AM flight to Orlando!!

Hello Ksumom,
If you would like to try this you can, it's my secret but I will share it with you. Take a small rubberband loop it though the hole on the shirt and bring the existing end over to the button on the shirt, put around button and Wallar ( I hope that's how it's spelled,,lol) you have extra neck space. The tie will cover the rubberband, just make sure it's a small rubberband. Hope that works,,

Safe travel everyone... We will work until 4 p.m Then to the kennel for , followed by a 5p.m. hair appt... Eventually, we will pack and be on a 8 a.m. flight I've got to write a list to make sure I'm not forgetting anything... After all of this... look for me at 3p.m., I'll be the girl with the bags under her eyes, and a holding a drink... with a really tired look on her face

It is pouring rain here today. Should be nice tomorrow for our flight. I'm getting a bit worried about delays after Jeanne last year. Ophelia is going to be too close to NYC tomorrow for my nerves. We learned the hard way last year that our flight crew comes in from NYC. We didn't get off the ground in Cleveland untill 11:30am due to delays in NYC.

No worries about hurricanes once we are on board. Just get us on that ship and take us anywhere. Well, anywhere tropical at least!

I can't believe cruise time is here! I am soooo excited!

Good Morning everyone. Well if you are still home today and like me beginning to pack.... THIS IS IT. It is today or never. I am so excited about the cruise but which I could just my clothes and stuff to the stateroom!

Tracy, DH and kids made it in safely last night... or I should say early this morning. She is still sleeping but I have been up since 6:00 w/ my kids. DD had to go to school. Something is wrong, very wrong, with this picture

I hope everyone that left yesterday made it to their destination without any issues. TO THOSE LEAVING TODAY --- BE SAFE AND SEE YOU SOON TOO.

Sue you doing okay there in Ft. Laud? I had to laugh at your comment about your DD calling you "madre". My DS watches dora and is learning spanish at school so when I count 1,2,3 to him as discipline he will finish it with quatro, cinco etc. Cute but he stills gets in trouble.

Gotta run and get DS food or "dinner" as he calls it.

Good morning! ONE MORE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have actually begun packing. If you count pulling the suitcases out of the closet as packing! I would have been further along, but my DNana and DB are busy calling me one after the other so I can hear "their side" of the story concerning whatever is the problem of the moment. 4 calls from DNana already and it's only 10:30a.m.! I can't believe it was MY idea to have DB and DNana in the same place at the same time. If ever there was a reality show sure to make you it'd be watching my family in action.

DSIL missed her flight this morning....so she's not showing up until 9pm tonight. I'm sure she'll be wiped by the time she gets here. She now has to make two connections - and she started the day at 5am. Poor girl. DB was furious. DNana was furious. I was trying to take a nap. Thank goodness I'm miles away - and only have to deal with it via phone calls!

Oh well - I better get serious about that nap (oops, I meant packing)!
