Sept 17 2005 Magic - am i alone on the ship?

Did it! Finished packing and didn't wait until the last minute. One suitcase and one carry on with room to spare. Will put shoes in an extra suitcase and have plenty of room in case we shop. Now I can worry about what I forgot.lol.

Oop's, need to fill out docs. Can't forget those!

DS got free tickets for the Indians game tonight so DH is going with him.

Well, my weeklong class is over! Yay! Now we're just hanging out till tomorrow. DSis gets off work tonight around 5, then we bowl out, come home, and go to bed! I'm looking forward to that - I'm pretty tired, but I can't nap now or else I won't be able to fall asleep when I go to bed at 7 PM tonight. I think we're getting up at 2 AM. Yikes!

Not much else to say - glad Susan met "Windy", but is that a new FFCer?

I'm off to read the boards and my Passporter to while away the time until bowling and then beddie bye!

Don't worry - I'll be back either before bed or first thing in the AM to say goodbye!

Ok, it's Tracy, I've stolen Karen's computer. I have no clue where I left off reading, but it looks like many of us are en route to Orlando or have already arrived


We arrived late last night in Tampa and are offically on vacation!!!!!! Yeah!!!!

DH and I met Donna's DH and DS at the FL Mall this afternoon. Did not meet Donna yet, she was gettng her nails done. Can't wait to meet everyone else. DSis (KSUmom) says hello.

Wow! I can't believe all of the people already in Orlando. Got a call from my DB and DNana - actually got three calls each. Once I explained in detail what a dry box is and where to find it in Ron Jon's - we were able to chat. A bit more upbeat this go round so I'm happy to hear that! At least they are all still alive (I wasn't too sure this morning).

I am officially all packed (sort of). I still have snacks, wine and the alarm clock to pack. Figured I'd better wait until I woke up in the morning or I was liable to miss the boat!

I'm pretty wiped out. In addition to packing, I got a permit to remodel my kitchen, had the designer come by and approve, and had a visit from the flooring contractor. I'll be ready to crawl into a lounger and sleep. But wait - I still have to go to Sesame Street Live AND tomorrow drive to the port! What we do for our children...

Just realized - this time tomorrow we'll already be CRUISING!

Can't wait to see everyone at 3pm Mickey Pool!

OMG.......I didn't realize how much I needed a vacation!!!! My entire family is happy.... I never realized how I missed all their smiles until now. We will do this more often, for without your family you have nothing.... I'm sure by sometime this week. I will again be complaining about them. But alas for now...

We had a wonderful time at Sesame Street Live. Christina was even hugged by Ernie! She didn't realize how special that was - because she spent the next 15 minutes crying because Bert, Elmo and Big Bird wouldn't come down and hug her too! I hope this isn't an indication of how the character meets will go on ship.

Christina's in bed - and I'm on my way. DSIL has arrived in Orlando (finally) and is on her way to the port. DB, DNana and DNephew enjoyed the pool at the Radisson and will be heading to the port on the 10:30 a.m. shuttle. I'll be getting up around 5 to drive up. Not nearly as early as Jenny!

Hope everyone has a safe flight, drive, etc. to the port. If I wasn't so tired I'd be really excited! See you then!

Hmmmm..... can I say it - in 75 minutes it'll be ZERO MORE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I finally finished packing. Everyone is in bed but me. I am heading there but finishing up little odds and ends on the computer so I tought I would check in. Just the few of us left.

See you all very soon. Wonder if I can get Tracy to drive to port in the morning????? Hope so.

I FINALLY finished packing and it is 30 minutes to midnight, so I thought what the heck- I'll wait and print our boarding passes. What a day, whew!

I hope everyone doesn't mind seeing us in the same clothes every other day. ha

This is my final post as we have a 7:45 a.m. flight out of St. Louis tomorrow and I am not bringing a laptop, but practically everything else that is not nailed down at home.

Looking SO forward to the 3:00 p.m. Meet! Have a safe trip, Sweet Sue and everyone else who still has to make the journey to Port Canaveral.
