OH NO GUYS! I'm sorry to tell you this but there looks to be a tropical depression starting and the website said that it has an attitude. I wasn't afraid at all until I heard it's name, Nate. I have a Nate at home and he is an attitude so please be aware of this in the coming days.
Ha Ha!

lorra

BUZZ KILL!!! UGH

*****the depression is the buzz kill not you Lorra******* :rotfl2:

Howdy from Hoosierland!!
All is well here. Counting the days like everyone else. :hourglass
Just been to dang blamed busy to get on here lately. I've got caught up. Now its time for beddy-by,night night, sleepytown.
I have no plans tomorrow, just maybe I'll stay on the boards all day to make up for lost time.

Talk to ya'll later,
BRAD :teeth:

Correct me if I am wrong Lorra, but you were just using the tropical depression as a play on words, right. I can't see anything out there unless you are talking about the possible thing forming by the Bahamas. It is not anything yet though, right? and it will be gone by then. Don't rain on my parade, But if I am wrong, I guess I have to know......

:flower1: :flower1: Hi all! Glad everyone seems to be having fun and/or productive weekends. Lots of laundry and dishes here. Can't seem to figure out DH's schedule, but I think he will be around a lot before we go on the cruise. That can be a mixed blessing when I'm trying to get ready...Him: "hang out with me, we never get to hang out..." Me: "I have to pack" Him: "We don't leave for two weeks." And so it goes. Makes me feel like I need to make yet another list! So...I'm off to make my list. Still haven't decided on a camcorder. My 10% off Best Buy coupon expires manana, but I'm sorta un-enthused by the whole thing.

Only hurricanes I want to hear abt are the football kind. Go 'Canes!

TTFN, W. :flower1: :flower1:

I checked out stormcarib.com (link on our website) where they have commentaries from people living in the Caribbean. The storm that has yet to be named Nate (just looks like this is the storm that COULD become Nate) is at 30W and 10N (longitude, lattitude). Again, this is early (not to contradict you, Lorra - just clarifying), but it's a possibility. Be watchful, I guess.

Brad, glad to see you back. I'm off to bed!

If the next "storm" will be called Nate... we'd better either give up now, or plan on being stuck for a long time on the ship!! I have a 1st grader by that name and he's a hurricane of his own!! He's only been in school for 2 weeks and already I have had several emails, and a phone call from his poor teacher!!! HELP!! I never had calls from either of my girls' teachers ... at least untill about 4-5th grade on the oldest!! So this storm will definatly be a heck of a storm if it's Nate!!! :umbrella: :rotfl:

Not QUITE to bed yet...

For everyone's viewing enjoyment (and because I like to show off funny pictures and don't always care about making a fool of myself, and of course to change the subject from h*********), please fix your eyes on the following:

Second row, far left as you look at it - yes folks, this is me flipping out on Dinosaur. Notice the completely calm boy in the front seat, and is that a monkey behind DSis?
Dinosaur2003.jpg

Front row on the left, two seats closest to middle - yes folks, this is me flipping out on Tower of Terror. Are those people in the right side middle swing dancing?
MissyandJeninToT.jpg

And lastly, front row left hand side of picture - yes folks, this is me flipping out on Tower of Terror... again. Notice a trend? Aunt Deb, big scream Jenny, dear sweet Mommy, and DSis

Enjoy, and good night!

Morning all!

Jenny - You really gave me a good laugh this morning with your pictures! :rotfl: They are great! Dinosaur is one of my favorite rides!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Only 4 days to work this week and 3 next week!!

Looking forward to meeting you all in 12 days!!

Later,
Karen

Goodmorning everyone :flower:

Jenny you started my morning off right today, how funny :rotfl: your pics are....you must of had a blast there :rotfl2: We all know who we want to be around on the ship to have a great time don't we. Nice going Jenny :goodvibes

Well, I'm just off to the kitchen... not only for another cup of coffee but to start wraping everything up to go over to DM. Found some cork stoppers to recork unused wine or champange with a little item that you can pump out the air in the bottle. :rotfl2: Hey, tried it out last night and it WORKS!!!! :earseek: So that is a must have on the trip

Have a good Labor Day everyone :wizard:

Morning everyone,

David/(Deege) - you and my DH will get along magnificently. He too has a passion for football. And living here in Canada, where every boy is born with a hockey stick in one hand and a helmet and skates already affixed, (Child birth can be quite difficult) he really doesn't fit in too well. Just kidding. He too can play hockey, but his love is football.

Sue and Wendy - regarding the media propaganda - I don't know if you all remember SARS. The respiratory illness that was killing many in Hong Kong, and killed 33 here in Toronto. My point is that during the scare from mid March to mid April 2003, I quite frequently received calls from my US colleagues, family and friends asking me if it was safe to go outside. Each described the media's interpretation of what was going on. They portrayed people walking around with surgical masks on, mass hysteria, and closures everywhere. Although it was true that I think 3 hospitals closed down, however in Toronto we have probably 20 to 30 hospitals. And the only ones wearing masks were those in the hospitals. It was recommended that all with coughs wear masks while visiting the hospital. One business shut down as a precaution because one employee had the virus. And one school shut down as a precaution because the father of student had the virus, and the daughter showed signs of the virus. To be honest, it really wasn’t that bad. A little scary but not what was portrayed in the media.

Now I am not minimizing anything that is happening either in New Orleans, nor Iraq. Just buyer beware. You don't have to believe everything you hear. There are many people helping those in need, my prayers go out to all of them , as they are true heroes, whether portrayed as in the media or not. (OK enough seriousness)

Is anyone ready for a Disney Cruise? :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :cheer2:

Have a great Labor Day.
Lisa K (10yrann)
