Greetings from sweaty Montreal, where we are going through a heat wave like no other, bursting through all kinds of records..Raining today, but making things heavier instead of better..Oh well..I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

You guys are an amazing bunch of creative talent artists!!!!! If, and when we are sure to go (OR NOT) I will have a bunch of running around to do....

THis is really to let anyone living in FLorida (LUCKY LUCKY) know that FLorida residents rates have been released for our (YOUR) sailing....Very good, and you should check into saving some bucks $$$$.....Just a heads up....THey look good..

I hope you all have a good day...So happy to hear Jenny's results are great...

Today is dh's Birthday, and 2 days until our weekend together.. 10 years overdue...I hope we have a good relaxing time...

Emily~ I got the Islandgram too!! I was pretty excited, because a lot of people were saying a week or 2 ago that they got it, and I hadn't yet. So I figured I wouldn't get one. BUt I did. It was a nice little surprise at the end of a busy day!

Just paid off the cruise!!! We are finally making decisions on which excursions to take. Dh thought Lord Sheffield looked good, so we might sign on for that. What are most of you doing on St. Thomas???

I hear your pain, having sailed three magic cruises in an 18 month span, and have never received ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!! I have called the CC line several times, and the promise to send whatever it is...and NOTHING..I have been lucky that "yogibigdog" mailed me an extra copy she had of the CC CD...We listen to it in the truck all the time....Thanks again...

Sue, I will send you what we are thinking about and you can see if you think it will have copyright issues or not. I just did thongs with polka dots and had three of them touching (hidden mickey). I just don't think they would bother for that. The only problem with iron ons is they mess up soooo easy, all of it doesn't come off, etc. I think it is kindof a pain, but do-able if that is what we decide...just thought I would explore this.

Sherrie i seem to remember you said the last cruise you went on you had interline rates. we were the same last time and were told we can not be members of cc. the good and the bad - you get industry discounts but you miss out on any extras. This time we are using cash and DVC points so we get to join cc and because we couldn't find any good interline rates.

Interline is,

Rates for employees..Perhaps airline employees, and others...I was an airline employee for years, and travelled without the rate, and was a member of CC already. It does hurt this time to pay full rates, as this is the first time in years that I do not get the interline rate...Last September with we cruised with it, and missed out on the 50% off...so thems the breaks..

There are few and far between lately..

I'm still here!

I try to follow the posts here, but it gets to be too much for little ol' me to read and I get all mixed up. In fact, I'm posting this from work right now.

Just been busy trying to square away our plans for the vacation and keeping our fingers crossed that my wife's new work assignment approves her leave request. They should, since she's requesting over two months in advance. But, we shall see.

Well, I've confirmed our airfare to and from Orlando, groud transportation to and from the port, our hotel the night before the cruise at Pop Century, and our hotel for 3 nights after the cruise at Pop Century. Just waiting for a good airfare one-way from Minneapolis to San Francisco so I can get back here for work.

Thinking of taking in the Dixie Stampede dinner show in Orlando one night after our cruise. We'll see. Could be I just have a Dolly Parton fixation, I dunno.

Really bad quality (it is a picture of a printout/not a scan...just for an idea) but we could do something like this. Do you think the thongs have copright issues? Do you like the colored square or the thongs by themselves? Old thongs or new thongs?

The font/colors, etc can change..just a general idea...I have no attatchments to any of this, so any opinion is welcome. I can also paint whatever design we want and scan it (ie something like Jenny has designed without the mouse). The bottom one is the one we have to iron on.

Okay, I just had a "this-must-be-what-it's-like-to-be-a-mom" moment.

My sweet, wonderful, incredible loving pup just got stung by a bee! (is that the crying smilie? My smilies don't move, which takes half the fun out of the smilies in the first place!) Now he's FINALLY calmed down and laying down on his paw, but it made me sooooo sad... he was limping, licking, chewing, etc and wouldn't let me touch it. I think he'll live, but it was NOT FUN to see my pup in pain. And for the record, I'm NOT one of those people that tells my dog to "come see mommy" - not that I judge those of you who do; I'm just bound and determined to reserve THOSE words for when I have kiddos of my own!

Anyways, I like the sign you made, Jen! Very cute, and the hidden mickeys are obvious but not obviously Mickey to non Disney lovers. Is the Palm tree sideways? It if is, no big deal, but I just wondered...

DSis comes home tomorrow- yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! I do not like being here by myself, so it will be nice going to bed without the kitchen light on.

I wanted to say I think Lord Sheffield's sounds fun, but DSis doesn't want us to do non-Disney excursions because of the risk that if the excursion is late and booked not through Disney, they don't hold the ship for you. So it's a no go. And with the recent Natalee Holloway disappearance in Aruba, I don't think it would be easy for Mom to think we were going off with strangers (meaing the operators, not you guys) with Disney not having a record of where we are. I'll talk to her about it again, but I think it'll remain a no. I understand her perspective, so it's not a big deal to me, but it looks/sounds like a fun excursion.

Oh, and for the record, we're only one time CC members, but we've never heard hide nor hair from CC. Boo.... hisssssssss

Jenny, the palm tree is sideways because I just taped it to the wall on a mural (which has a tree growing sideways into the water...you have to see it ) and the upright trees are way to big to get in the picture. Like I said, once we figure out what idea we want I can paint it up (umbrella, ship in the background, water.....or just white with thongs) I don't mind and it is not a big deal (I am a muralist remember so painting a 7x10 picture is alot easier than what I am used to!)

I think the thongs (lol... I keep getting a VERY different image in mind when I read/write that in reference to our thread... boy, we would SURELY scare people off from the DIS ) by themselves with what you wrote before, or them on the beach where the water laps onto the sand is a fun pic.

time difference - it is currently 12:30p.m. here. we are about to have lunch!
however when i checked the world clock it says it is 4:30a.m. in orlando at the moment.
but at least we are both on the same day.

oh talking about thursdays i think either my resolve or my bathroom scales are broken as i have no recorded weight loss this week

Jenny i hope you dog is better. a dog is so much like a baby as when they hurt they can't tell you how much or where. still at least he wasn't alergic (can dogs be alergic?)

Congratulations Christal! Two pounds is awesome. Keep it up, at 11 more weeks that's 22 pounds! Wouldn't that be nice! I only lost one pound this week. Still, it's better than a headache! I'll take it.

I am looking into hotels in Steamboat Springs for July 8 and 9th. We were supposed to do our annual camping trip with a group of friends but after girlscout hell weekend, I am thinking NO! Give me a luxury resort with indoor plumbing and a pool....and of course coffee! It is their annual balloon festival. Hopefully, they will fly this year. Last year it was to windy. Did someone say they were coming out to Colorado for a vacation?

Jenny, So sorry about your pup. That is sad!
