The new and much improved Disney Cruise site is out of this world. It is going to be sooooo much nicer to advance book the Palo ressies & enroll the kids in the clubs. Hopefully we won't have to do the mad scramble on embarkation day and enjoy the pool a little more on the first day.

Got a 2BR at Beach Club Villas booked for 3 nights before the cruise. First time to use our DVC points!! Still waiting on Southwest...

Bad news about Harry T's. It will be closed until 2007. I don't know what happened with them & the Yacht Club, but they are moving to a new location but have closed until then. Do you know where the Lucky Snapper is? There is a development going in there, updating Harborwalk, and Harry T's is relocating there, but like I said will not be ready until 2007.

Brough DD6 to see the specialist this morning for her ears.ENT, and sure enough, she needs surgery to place tubes in her ears.. She has had 9 infections this year, and it is only May...Seems to be a small surgery, but for me, it is HUGE....Sorry, just venting...Put her name on the list, and awaiting the phone call.... After that, there should be no more suffering for her (and me ) so that is great... Doctor also said, that it should not affect her swimming this summer, and she can swim the very next day...Wow, was I pleasantly surprised with that answer.....

Have a good day folks...First day off since February 5th, and it has to be the nicest yet... Took some sun, and had a nice lunch with DD6, before I brought her back to school...

Off to pick up DH from work, and then cheerleading, and football practice...

How long till we leave...???

mammasita, good luck with the surgery for your dd. It is always scary! Hopefully, it will work and she will feel better. Ear infections are the worst.
I have not been cleaning and have been playing on the computer. OOOOPPPSS! I was looking at the Discovery Cove in Orlando. It looks cool but it 250.00 per person . I wonder if it is that special if you cruise a lot. I mean, we can swim with the dolphins/sting rays on the islands. Any thoughts?

I do not have much knowledge about Discovery Cove..But, boy I would LOVE to swim with the dolphins...

IT is just a lot of $$$$$$$$$$ for a family of 4...My kids are dying to do it also...Told my hubby, that is a must, before I die...

Ya never know, may win the lottery before September..

Thanks for the good wishes...Just hope they call sooner, rather than later..As much as I hate the surgery, I would rather have it behind us...

Hi everyone...I just wanted to let you know, that I just tried to book our cruise on expedia, and it isn't coming up available AT ALL...Not in any category! Isn't that strange???? So far out..As of last week they had availability in cat's 4, and 5..

Who knows..Just part of my obsessive personality here checking it out as usual....

seems like we have some bunko enthusiasts on board; does the ship offer bunko games? maybe we should set one up for an at-sea afternoon. just a thought.

last but not least - i have a HUGE big test tomorrow. it's a comprehensive exam for the last two years of classes in my master's program (studying to be a counselor - I'll graduate in december! )

Who knows how they determine what is available. DCL now shows several catagories available.......the lowest was 8. Of course the bargain hunter in me loves to price it out and see that we are paying thousands less because of the EBD and our 25% off voucher! Somehow this makes it more "affordable"..........who am I kidding?

Jenny, Good luck on your test and congratulations (early). That is very exciting!
mammasita, are you the one with the ds9 and dd6? I am to lazy to go back and look.....If so, I keep reading about how boring the Oceaneers Lab is....what is your opinion on it (or your son's, more to the point). I just have nightmares about the fact that my kids won't ever want to go!!

Hi everyone...

Good Luck to you for your exam Jenny....Pixie dust..

Jen, Yes, this is me with the DS9 an DD6...My son LOVES LOVES the lab...Both of them enjoy the clubs so so very much, I have to argue to eat together.. Last trip I made one rule, we eat together for breakfast, and lunch everyday, and if they must (and the almost did daily) eat and stay so much with the clubs at night, then so be it..I really wanted to do supper too, but hubby reminded me that it was their vacation too, and if that is what pleases them so much, then let them do it...So, I relented..


The first time, my kids were a little uncertain, but they grew with it...I am sure you will have no problems....Especially the older ones, cause they pickout by themselves what interests them the most...

I feel like I am writing too much here, I apologize, Hubby just had a car accident with kids in the car, and I am finally home...THank God..they are all safe and sound...what a bloody week i tell u....

SO, have a good night all..SUnny here, but hitting freezing mark tonight...YUGH
