The way I understand, from what I've read, is the wireless internet doesn't work in the staterooms. It works on all 3 decks of the atrium, Promanade Lounge, decks 9 & 10. There may be more that is all I remember.

Class today was good - actually kept my attention. Did I say yet that my prof said we'll get out at 11:30 on Friday instead of 3:30? Yippee! That's good, because tonight our bowling league started up again, and DSis and I will miss next week's game. We have to bowl ahead of time so our scores can be counted in the league placement, so we were going to bowl our 3 games tonight and then 3 more AFTER the teams finished, but we were pooped so we're bolwing Friday night before going to bed at 7 PM so we can wake up at 2:30 AM to get to Columbus for our flight..... So having the afternoon to take care of last minute stuff will be nice.

Thanks for all the good thoughts and prayers for my family. I agree - this is good closure for us before we have to go on the cruise and then potentially miss the funeral. Our family is really good about rallying around one another in times like these - of course, we also have our big melodramatic fights, but we all adore my grandpa, so nearly everyone shows up for things like this. My professor was so sweet - when I told her about the situation, she actually hugged me! I guess that's not surprising at a seminary, but I've never had a professor be so comforting - actually, I did have a professor from college rush to a hospital after a serious car accident/surgery. He kissed my cheek and my hand and smoothed back my hair from my forehead. My mom was in the room, and he's like a grandfather, so it was sweet that he cared that much. Anyways, back to our regularly scheduled program....

My mom gave me two shirts for the cruise, so I'll be bringing those to replace the stained one. Wow, this is exciting commentary!

We're lucky that when we travel, our parents take in our pets (dog and 2 cats). I don't like kenneling Oliver, but I have; it's just so much easier to have a good time not worrying about how he's doing. Those kennels with dogs are SO LOUD!

Got to call DCL about DSis' stateroom gift. I hope they can still do it at this point!

Lisa (10yrann), how cute that your kids wanted Oliver to come with us! I'd LOVE that - DSis was just telling him last night he needed to find a snuggly spot in my suitcase to come with us!

Sue, I'm sorry to see you leaving the "Not-till-Saturday" countdown group. Guess Donna (ragdoll) and I will be alone! We'll just be while you guys go down, and you can run to us with open arms and cheers of excitement when we arrive....

Boy, you guys have really been posting alot the last week or so!! I've been trying to keep up with it when I can, but just haven't posted for a while, just having fun reading!! Sounds like all of you are busy little bees! I wonder why? I've been pretty much ready for a week or so, just a few last minute things to do, but then I only have one person to pack for!! Told DD (KSUMom) I am sure glad I'm not in her shoes, having to pack for six!! And she's hardly started!! Was talking to her yesterday and she was "freeking" out thinking about all she has to do yet.

So excited to meet you all Saturday!

Sweet Sue, if you have any more of those postcards & magnets left, I'll take one, probably 2, I think DD (PrincessLKMiller) might want one. She wasn't sure what they were. We'll give you the $ at the meet on Saturday. We'll be the gang of 12 with 7 of them being kids, 15, 13, 11, 6, 3, 3, & 18 mos!!

Jen, No we are not free of Ophelia....they just cancelled school here tomorrow and they will prob cancel Wed. too. I wish it would just move! It is just barely moving.
I sure hope it doesn't interfere with our flight Friday morning. We are under a hurricane warning even though it is still considered a tropical storm, it looks like they are not taking any chances with all that happened recently. You know the old "C.Y.A."

Wow, I got alot of packing done today and I even had three kids, took my daughter to preschool, took my son and a friend to a junior firefighter's class about a half an hour away, took my daughter to the doctor for an earache, picked up Jorge from a soccer game, did dishes, made supper, cleaned, and did a load of wash. No wonder I am tired! I need a vacation. I must say Jorge is starting to be a talker, all the kids went to bed and then we talked for about an hour about everything. Boy, am I starting to love him. I think I will even miss him more then I thought I would at this point. Scary isn't it. Well, I'm off to bed. Gotta finish packing, gotta finish packing, gotta finish packing. Sorry, I thought by wishing it was done a fairy would come by and do it for me. No such luck! Night and sweet dreams.

Tomorrow is a busy day. I have a two hour meeting in the morning (yearbook), go to a friend's for lunch and a hair appt for 1:30. Keep busy so I have catching up to do when I return

Well, it is 10pm and everyone is packed but me. (Mom is always last... I do everybody else first.) Tomorrow I will pack my stuff, get the camera(s) together, take the dog to the kennel (sniff, sniff), gather passports/birth certificates.... I have one run to Target to make to get dh some new underwear. I actually went tonight, but one package was the wrong kind, so I have to take them back and get the right ones. Plus I forgot stain stick tonight, so I can get that. We are bringing a couple of the travel bottles of Tide with us so we can do laundry on the ship.

We'll be leaving here hopefully by 3pm tomorrow. We have to drop the rats off at our friends' house on the way to San Jose. If we opt for the internet at BCV, I'll check in once we get there.

Hi! Two more days for me! We leave Thursday night so I will see everyone very soon. I got alot more done yesterday than what I thought I would so that is good news. Well, I need to go wake up my daughter for school, my boys have been gone for a half an hour now. My nephews will be here very soon and this is the last day I have to pack. I work Wednesday, go to a girl scout parent meeting, and then I have to go to P.T.O. so tomorrow is booked. I work Thursday, come home and leave for Philadelphia. I did get that list Jen but just in case anyone cares, I will actually be staying at POP and not Hyatt on Friday night so if anyone wants to visit me feel free. Well, I'll check in again later.

Good morning everyone! DS(3) starts pre-school today. He only goes for one hour today and DH and I are supposed to go with him. So I have to leave work at 10am and won't be back until after lunch

I have not started packing yet! I plan to get it all done tonight and tomorrow and tomorrow night... I just want to have it all done before Thursday night, so I can relax...paint my toes and fingers and go to bed early Our flight leaves at 6am Friday...thank goodness we are only about 30 minutes from the airport! But, we will still have to leave by 4am in order to get there and park and everything! Boy my boys are going to be a barrel of fun Friday morning

Gotta get some work done...oops...did I say the dirty 4 letter work

I don't even have enough clothes for my kids (Missy is going to hook my up later in the week).

My husband is swamped at work and has to travel on Thursday and then sit in a seminar on Friday until it is time to leave for the airport.

These are good problems to have...

Oh well, on Friday, I won't care about any of this.
