Well, no packing done today, but some shopping. We wound up getting a new camera for this trip. I think I'm gonna like it. It's a new Kodak P850; just released this month. 12x optical zoom and some other very cool features.

Sorry I missed the charge for 3000 posts. Looks like y'all were having fun getting to it.

Boy you all have been busy.....Now what do we shoot for?

DInner was great and the best thing was "Jennifer" our waitress got into a fight with some other waitress and walked so apparently there was some rushing to fill in and they forgot to put our order in (which we didn't even notice) so we got two "Tours of Italy" comped. So for dinner for four, drinks for (more than) four, and dipping sauces it was $52.00 Got to love Jennifer! "Cat fight at Olive Garden"

Jen, Mmmmm... Olive Garden sounds yummy. We were talking about going there for lunch after church tomorrow. Maybe we'll get lucky too. Funny, I went with friends for a birthday lunch one time and someone messed up our appetizer order; it didn't arrive until our meals came. One of the ladies casually mentioned it to the manager when she stopped by our table to ask how things were.... we wound up with 4 free desserts! (Love that Black Tie Mousse Cake!)

I'm getting so excited - so much to do. Karen - congrats on the new camera. Jen - awesome on the free dinner!

Forgot about one of my purchases on the mad shopping spree yesterday. I was concerned about wearing yarn on my wrist around the pool - and DNana wouldn't even DREAM of wearing yarn (it just doesn't go with pearls), so I stopped into Claire's. For $3.50, I got a set of green wild looking bracelets. The one's I got are like the material used in those plastic lock thingies, but softer - and BRIGHT GREEN! They come with 5 green ones and 5 black ones in a package (it says something about black light bracelets). They also have a set of green bangle bracelets for the same price. So.....if you're a bit adverse to yarn, try Claires!

Hello to All my Castmates -- after nine months of preparation we are less than a week away. I can't believe it.

Our church festival is going on this weekend and my wife and I have spent 18 hours working past midnight on Friday & Saturday and today is our long day from 12-10. We are in charge of 3 booths and Bingo.

My wife is changing companies and will be starting at Procter & Gamble on Monday after we return from the cruise. She is very excited to be unemployed for one week which will be the cruise week. Can't get much better than that.

Have a great Sunday everyone and let your husbands watch some football on TV to get them in a good mood for the beginning of the spending extraganza next weekend.

Jen, gotta love those tiffs that don't involve us but we benefit. You go girl.

Can't beleive this is the last week. We went out shopping after the kids soccer presentations yesterday. DH and I both found Pirate costumes. Yes the whole family will be dressed up. I convinced DH to get the adult version of the "Captain Jack Sparrow" costume to exactly match Christopher. They look awesome. By the way Christopher's stitches come out either today or tomorrow, he is very excited and doing quite well.

While at soccer, a friend of mine called, she got tickets to the new Orlando Bloom's Gala premier movie "Elizabethtown" at the Toronto Film Festival last night. A little short notice, but didn't have any other plan,s so we went. Had a fantastic time. Got within 10 feet of Orlando and Kirsten Dunst. Quite cool. If I had to guess, Kirsten was a little upset by all the attention Orlando was getting.

Well today is a packing day. Time to get moving.

Good reminder Linda....We are all so excited and there are people who are in a great deal of pain today...........
I was at Disney World and on my first Disney cruise, this time in 2001. It was really weird being in such a fantasy, make believe place with all that awful and surreal stuff going on.

On a happier note 4 more days for us

Don't forget about the cabin tour at 1...I have to go get ready for my brunch at Palo.....WAIT.....That is not today....But in one week we will be on board doing all these things

I thought of that last night at dinner....that next week we will be sailing away!
Watching the video and seeing the CMs waving from the terminal made me think, how hard they work to make our cruise special. Three ships a week,they have to go out and smile and pretend to be soooo excited and smile believably...it must get old, and yet they do it for us. Multiply that by every cast member on the ship, putting on those wonderful smiles just for us.

So fun!

Sue, as far as guidelines for tipping I think that U should tip based on the service that U receive, not on any guidelines that some joe shmoe came up with.

Hello! Well my DH actually made it home and we even managed to get all of his stuff together for the cruise!! I was starting to get a little nervous with all the delays but all is well!! We have been packing today. It looks like we are not out of range for Ophelia yet but hopefully she will pass us by!

I will add that the tip for Palo is "included" but they do NOT get that $10 surcharge. Again, guidelines, and give as you see appropriate.
