I don't know if you are a religious person or not, but I like to hold on to this verse from Joshua 1: Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. We will all be thinking of you on Friday.

The weather is starting up to act up in the tropics. It is that time of year! (We live about 40 minutes from the port.) My husband asked me last night if I had purchased cruise insurance...in case of a hurricane. I told him that I didn't care what the weather was and if we stayed in port for a week I was going to be on that ship!!! Can't wait!!

I posted last night without reading your post. I had spent the day inspecting the beach for erosion after Hurricane Alex and was selfishly thinking about our upcoming vacation. I am so sorry to hear about your DD. I pray that she will be fine! I know you must be stressed to the max worrying about her, then having a major house project going on. Good thoughts and prayers from me to your entire family. I hope the check up will truly be routine.

Oh, how exciting!!! I booked through All Seasons Travel and have heard or received anything yet. I did talk with them on Monday, but did not inquire about our docs. Hopefully they will be here soon!

Documents???!!! Now that is good news. I can't wait to see when ours show up. I'll have to make a call now to see if our TA knows anything about ours. Does anyone know if they will go to the TA or to our house via UPS? Oh..I can't wait...I'll need to call her right now.

Just called our TA handling the trip. She hasn't heard anything about ours yet...but she's going to give them a call in the morning. I'm hoping for some good fortune in reciveing word on our doc's before our trip to the hospital Friday...actually we'll head over tomarrow night and stay at the Ronald McDonald House...then be right at the hospital for the apt Friday morning.

Any one eles get anything??

We will also be cruising with you. It's me (5 months pregnant), my DH, my DD 9 and my DS 3 (almost 4). We have late seating. We are so excited. I am a little concerned that my son won't go to the kids activities. He is really shy and doesn't like to be without one of us. We went through 5 terrible weeks before he wouldn't scream and yell when we left him at preschool. Maybe he could meet a few friends the first day and that might help.
Can't wait to meet everyone.

Welcome lopezgang! We are hoping our DD3(almost 4), Kambria, will want to play some at the clubs. She actually does really great at preschool and her other activities, but you just never know. We are also hoping that meeting a few friends at our dismeet the first day, as well as the aniticipation of meeting those friends, might make her more comfortable at the clubs. We are of course prepared to spend the whole time all together. It would be nice to at least make it to Palo's. Also I think she'll really enjoy some of the activities at the club.

Has anyone who booked through All Seas gotten their docs yet?

I called All Seasons today wanting my package and they said it would be at least 2 more weeks. I was very disappointed and whined a little bit to them. Since I remembered to ask for my confirmation no. and confirmed that we had the REAS, I did call Debbie (who is wonderful!) and made my Palo's reservations for dinner and brunch. I couldn't talk my husband into the high tea. I also made my spa reservations. I put in a dining rotation request, but she told me that sometimes All Seas will book all their passerngers on the same dining rotation. How bizarre! Let me know if you get yours soon!

I called my TA back today to inquire about out docs...and was informed it would be a while longer....we haven't even been assigned a room yet...But I guess that's alright. She (the TA) is suppose to call DCL back on Monday...or early next week...not sure why. I'm just hoping for something soon. Even if our passports showed up soon...I'd be happy...That would just be one more thing bring us closer to the trip.

We leave in one month...I can't beleive it is going so fast now. There seems like there is sooo much more to do before we go. I guess I should really start thinking of what were packing...and what we may still need to get.

I was reading a post on the main cruise board about girls wearing princess dressess to things like formal and semi formal dinner...any one know of any other time they would be worn? We were thinking of bringing the girls costums from halloween last year...but they already have formal and semi formal dresses that are leftovers from a wedding and Christmas....(I figure they may as well wear them as much as they can). Any way we were thinking of bringing the Princess dresses also...but not sure when they would wear them....Any ideas??

I sure wish my documents would show up, where are they? I think I'll start praying for good weather, I just heard today that it is supposed to be a busy hurricane season. I'm with TraSee I'll be on that ship even if it sits in port all week. I just hope its a different port than Port Canaveral
