My daughter will be 12 in August but she wants to celebrate her birthday on the cruise. The problem is her birthday is Aug 29th and then like 13 days later we hit the cruise! A big shout out and happy birthday to DD Gerber!!!

No Problem, you don't need to use your credit card to hold your excursions or dinner reservations, they will charge them on your credit card at the very end of your cruise.

Thanks, Dennis! Good to know. I don't get to book my ressies/excursions until Tuesday, and it's KILLING me. If I can't get a reservation for Remy, it will just break my fiancée's newly-wedded heart.

Gonna do Remy (hopefully!), Blue Lagoon Dolphin Swim, and a Couple's Spa Villa treatment.

The recent reports I've heard are that the gate to concierge have for the most, been left unlocked. However if they ARE locked, the reports are that we can leave gifts with the concierge host and He/She will deliver them for us.
Do we have anyone on the FE list IN Concierge? I have the stateroom numbers for most of you participating but I don't know if any of those are conceirge.

I haven't started making my adult FE gifts yet. I'm waiting till Tim's Birthday party on the 23rd of July to TELL him about the cruise, and then HE can help make these things. I have the FE gifts for the kiddies all here, I just have to package them up.

We are doing a "per room" gift... that has some different little items in it for the family to divide up or share as they see fit I am so excited.

We are doing the FE and we are in Concierge (12510), and I have experienced on the Maiden Voyage of the Dream that "IF" the gates of Concierge is locked that you can just knock on the concierge lounge and the staff will deliver them for you - no problems..... but rarely was the gates locked (unless it was after 11pm).

Do you have an updated FE list, so I can make sure I have enough

Can't believe the cruise is getting closer am off shopping next week to buy some more clothes for the holiday.

Oh great! I will tell someone somewhere about my daughters 12th birthday and it is also our wedding anniversary of 19 years on the 4th so I will tell them as well. I do not foresee Chad and myself doing any romantic Palo this cruise. Girls are really nervous to be alone. But I would like to try the wine and campaign tasting though.
Also the FE sounds terrific but how many are participating? What do we do just bring post cards from our town? It might be too costly for us this season. WE have to replace our roof! Ugh!

Hi everyone! I hope you all are just as excited as I am...I for one (of very many I'm sure) am extremely excited that we will be sailing on the beautiful Dream in about 2 and a half months! I feel like there is so much to do!! I have to drop a few pounds, print out our door magnets, make a fish extender, and get the fish extender gifts together...so much to do, so little time! I guess that's a good problem to have

Myself, DH, DS and DD will all be on the Sept 11th Cruise! We are all Celebrating our Sept Birthdays. Me 9/2, DS 9/1, DH 9/10 and DD 9/12. Happy Birthday to us!

It is also my birthday in the month of September!!!! My birthday is on the 23rd, just a couple of days after our cruise. I will be turning 6..........no,no,no,no, that ain't right............I will be turning 46.........yeah that's it 46, I will be 46 on the 23rd!!! (Whew that was close!!!) Judy don't you say anything!!!1

Now I'm getting excited. It's exciting to see new menu choices, although I will admit I'm sad that my chicken parmesan isn't on the menu at Palo's I'll just have to find a new favorite! (or two)

Hello Everyone! Just got back from TJMaxx, DH and I were cruise clothes shopping found some nice things, anyway I saw the neatest luggage sets. They had Mickey Mouse and Tinkerbell. The two large ones for adults and the smaller one would be great for the kids and the whole family can match. If I had not already bought my luggage I would have gotten the large one. I remember seeing something like these at DStreet at DD marketplace. Just thought I'd pass this info on to my fellow cruisers. We love shopping for our vacations!

I think the end of July would still give most of those participating to have a fair count and have time to get things together for the FE (JMO).

Yes, 12 staterooms so far. It is coming up fast!!! I can hardly believe it's practically JULY!!! I've kept busy lately by reorganizing my kitchen cupboards and drawers (the craft cupboard is on the list but I just cringe every time I open that door, so that will wait a little long). Getting my house cleaned for summer entertaining, then lots of summer events on the horizon and before we know it, It'll be September!!!
HEY, does anyone want to come weed and thin out my perennial garden?? LOL. My DH is ready to get RID of it period, but right now thats what separates our yard out front from the neighbours. I'm NOT a gardener and right now can't distinguish between plant and weed. Perhaps I can get to it once everything blooms later this summer.
TODAY, it's Kite Flying and setting up our tent Gazeebo on our back deck, then I'm ready for outdoor entertaining

Just got reservations for Remy & Palo!

I chose Palo 8:30pm on the at-sea day, and Remy 8pm on the Nassau day.

I'd like to switch to Palo brunch if one comes available.

Do you experienced cruisers know of any big conflicts for either of those days/times? I knew enough to not schedule a dinner on Pirate Night (Castaway Cay, right?)

For those who haven't made ressies yet, as of 6am/E this morning there were a few reservations for 2 left at both places.

Also saw that a couples Castaway Cay cabana massage was still available. Do those usually book up in advance? I would LOVE it, but not sure if hubby would and not sure the price is for us either -- $294+tip.

Is everyone having a wonderful Tuesday!!! I know I am. DW and I were able to get all of the ressies we wanted for our b2b cruise. Now it is the hard part..........................waiting..................and waiting for our sail date to get here!!! You know, it seems like it is so far away in some respects................and the again, it seems as if it is just around the corner.

We got everything we are taking all in one room. Sure looks like allot of stuff!!! I of course would be fine with just a change of shorts. Most of the stuff we are taking is DW's!!! Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, well I guess I should clear that up just a bit................about have of it is my stuff. (Thanks for pointing that out sweetheart.) (Whew..........that was close!!!) I had visions of hurt limbs and head there for a moment!

Well, got to go for awhile. Ya'll have a GREAT day today. I'll talk to you again soon!!!

I can't believe how fast time is flying! The countdown clock I have on my desk says 71 days, which still seems like a lot, but when I look at the countdown in my signature, it's just a little over two months...now that puts it into perspective!! I'm really excited though! Things are starting to come togther for us. DH and I finally found some water shoes to wear at Atlantis, and I ordered a new camera yesterday that we can use in the water, which I'm really excited about!

By the way, is there anyone who's cruising without a Passport? The DH and I have ours, and his family that's cruising with us have theirs as well, but my DNephew is the only one who doesn't have one. I'm still debating on whether he really needs one or not. Any thoughts?
