I've done a private group before, you can have more than one person as an administrator. It's not too hard. I can help if you need.

Do you have to have a facebook page to join the group? Could I just create one joining the group?

No, we actually moved here for jobs. I think we are one of the only couples that moved to this area and are not in the military We have only been down here a couple of years. Closer to Disney is what I say. We plan on driving down the day before we set sail.

To join a private group you do need a fb page, I do have friends that make a fb page using their alter egos because they themselves don't want to be on fb, so you could always do that, but we would still get to know one another. Clear as mud?

Okay I am NOT working on our Facebook Group... I am very challenged in this area, I can create a group, but since no one is on my "friends" then I can't add anyone So mabye someone else knows how to make this group happen?

Sorry I did try.... I thought it was a great idea when I read it in a prior group... but guess its more complicated than my lil brain can handle after a long day at work

I think once you "like" it then you can leave messages on the wall? I can't figure out how "public" it is though.... Can anyone see our wall posts? How do I make it private so only our members can see and write on it?

Were you able to create the group? Do you have a name for it? If it is a closed group we have to request to be added so if you let us know what you named it we can search for it and send a request. On our last cruise we then pm'd the administrator with our "real" names so she knew we were really with our DisGroup.
And fb has been acting funny for me all week so that may be why the link won't work.

I agree so we dont get random guests on our page, lets have everyone please PM me your real name (FB name) so I can verify actual members are joining.

After you type in the group name and it comes up with random internet sites go to the left hand side and click on groups and then it should show up. They must be "updating" something because fb has been acting pretty goofy this week.

Sorry I've been away. I had some medical issues and was a bit concerned that I might have to cancel the cruise.
Well I'm back and ready to go!
I'm trying to schedule chemotherapy around our trip and will be there with bells on...I may be minus some hair but that will only help my pirate look

Would a post card from Indiana and a piece of Indiana South Bend Chocolate Company attached to the post card be a good enough gift? I would like to try this but we are on a tight budget this is our first cruise and I am driving my family completely nuts with my enthusiasm!!!!

Please try the link again... a few people have used it with success. I know FB had been crazy this week for some reason... Please keep trying! IF not try searching for the "Disney Dreamin Cruise Sept 11,11" There is a Disney Dream picture - Gold circle with DREAM in words as the pic. Hope this helps!

That's funny! We got asked the same question when we moved to Va from SC last year. We are also driving down the day before the cruise. Will you take I-95 the whole way down?
