Shamefully, I'll admit, I have at least one moment like that EVERYDAY! Saturday, I went to the bank, for the 3rd time in the past 12 months to get a new debit card. Thankfully, it wasn't the same teller as the first two times! The previous time I lost my card and got a new one, I found the lost one 6 months later! This last time, I've searched high and low, and couldn't find it, so had to get a new one, and I KNOW chances are, I WILL find the lost one eventually.
If you ask my DH, he thinks I lost my mind years ago.
Once he drove me with all our kids in the back of the van, to Michael's Craft store. I had to pick up one item, so he waited in the van while I ran in and grabbed what I needed. When I came out, I was busy reading the coupons on the back of my receipt, but I could see the van in my Upper? peripheral vision. I walked to the van, opened the door, climbed in, all the while still reading my lovely coupons. When the van's engine didnt' start, and I looked up, about to say to DH "What the heck are you waiting for". To my HORRORthere WAS a man sitting in the drivers seat, AND KIDS in the back, BUT THEY WEREN'T MY DH OR MY KIDS!!! The guy was looking at me, knowing how embarrassed I now was and you could tell he was trying his darndest NOT to LAUGH!! With Huge Apologies, I got out as fast as I could and there was my DH in OUR van, across the way, LAUGHING HYSTERICALLY at me!
There, do you feel better now, that I've shared one of my most Senior Moments!
OMG! Did that ever make me laugh!
