I'm coming in on the middle of this. Is Justin Guarini scheduled as entertainment on the WB TransAtlantic trip this September 2011?? He was on our EB Transatlantic April 2010. I guess he has nothing better to do.

No .. we were just talking about the previous acts which were on the two TA cruises in 2010.

I googled him ... apparently a runner up from American Idol Season One. :confused3:confused3 Not much to do with Disney then ??

Well of course there is now a American Idol experience at Disney Hollywood studios...... and um ........ and American idol contestant Jennifer Hudson was once a singer for Disney Cruise Line ......... and Um......... Justin Guarini once went to see a Disney film ....... And um......OK I admit it I'm out!

You win Sarah:rotfl2:

LOL

SW

I would love it if Jodi Benson is on this year but obviously you folks that did last years would probably prefer someone new.
:lmao:

Well as a super Disney fan you won't hear me complaining if we get Jodi again, we saw the early show, then shot upto Topsiders for a quick dinner then went back to see her again, then rushed out to get a photo and autograph, Jodi was so lovely, after signing LOTS of Autographs and meeting Lots of people she went up to the pirates deck party and was still happy to chat with people.

Love Jodi!!!

Many congratulations for booking!! :) Curt and I will have our two daughters with us as well... Sarah will be turning 5 the week of embarkation and Em just turned 7 months today. This will be the first cruise for the girls, first DCL for Curt and I, and definitely the first TA! We have previously done 8 cruises, but all around the Caribbean (from FL and San Juan) as well as Alaska. Glad to be branching out now!

OMG!!!!! I just realised this time in 6 months we will be in Barcelona!!!!! :dance3: :dance3: So excited! :dance3: :dance3:

EEEEK!!! I just looked at the time, and with the time change, we will be pushing back from JFK in New York exactly six months from now! (Provided no more flight time changes!)

I'm on late dining and will certainly be skipping some of the non Disney evening shows, some of them were certainly not to our tastes, although plenty of folks seemed to enjoy them,

Our star act was Jodi Benson, voice of the Little Mermaid, while on the EBTA they had

Justin Guarini.....

Now all non US Disers are thinking WHO? :-)

SW

Dang it - NON Disney shows? I have to admit I thought that the shows were pretty much Disney-themed! So I guess we will get to pick and choose some shows onboard as I don't see my girls sitting through a non-Disney show. Maybe some extra non-crowded swimming pool time for them. :wizard:

And US-DISers are thinking WHY?! :)

And some of us are also thinking WHO? :confused3 Sorry, never have watched AI.

(Ignore my ticker, it's a day out as I changed my flight)

That's what I was thinking - we'll be on a plane. I really hate flying, but what choice do I have for this? Anyway, a few hours after that, we'll be in Barcelona!!! :woohoo::dance3::woohoo:

As for the shows, I know this is sacrilege, but on our 2nd Wonder cruise we skipped all of the shows. We had seen them before, and they were very good, but we decided we'd rather spend our time at the pool, in the Rainforest, and at the lounges. We'll be picking and choosing on this one, too, I think.

So, I've been watching eBay, picking up some dresses for this trip, and one of my purchases came in today.

OMG!!! It's perfect for Villian's Night!! Think homage (with a silent "h" and long "o") to Ursula (my favorite villian)!

No, it does not have tentacles, but it is the perfect shade of purple, with the most wonderful detailing! (Yes, let's face it, I'm a straight chick with an inner drag queen screaming to get out!!) I still have some poundage to lose before it actually looks good (as opposed to waaay too much like Ursula), but that's okay.

This is my nefarious plan, you see. I get all these excellent clothes and get Dennis all hyped up about dressing up ("Guess what honey, you get to wear a tux! Twice!"), so that come h#!! or high water, we have to go! House payments be d@mned, I've got clothes to wear!! (See, what did I tell you - inner drag queen. I think I'll call her Lucretia.)

Some of the "non- disney" shows (assuming you mean not stageproduction musicals) were fab on the Panama cruise. I LOVED Circurious and the crew talent show!

OH I  Ursula! In fact she IS me on another board (Ursulinda:laughing:
If I can't find a dress, you can wear my seashell necklace!

As well as pins, there was all manner of WBTA to buy, key rings, magnets, cups, bookmarks, t shirts and lots more!

As Sarah mentioned some lines were reduced toward the end of the cruise, plus several items left over from the Med cruises were available at reduced prices.

SW

Yeah there sure were - and the character warehouse in Orlando was full of them in January - all marked WAAAAAAAAAAY down.

Our son will be ten months on 9/9/11. So many firsts for him. I am sure we will see you in the toddlers splash area!

That is great to hear! Anything to keep a 4-year-old and toddler interested works! :thumbsup2 And I know absolutely nothing about American Idol over the years... from reading these posts, they must have fabulous talent!

Most definitely!!

And I cannot believe that will be the tenth anniversary of 9-11-01 when we will be onboard. Will never forget that day.

Hi hope everyone had a great weekend.
We had a very chilled one, and didnt do anything .

Sarah on the Dolphin trip that your organising, do you know how big the boat is ?. Or has anyone
been on it before ?. (I get very seasick on smaller boats). I would love to do the trip though.

Also a few people have mentioned Morrissons, I didnt see it last time, How far from the Port is it ?.
We went into town last year (I think by taxi) but didnt see it.

Thank you all for the "welcome"; my TA just got home today from her "Dream" cruise and will start working on our booking tomorrow...

I can't say I blame you, I would probably do that too so I could see her twice! :)

Welcome aboard Sarah! We are Claire and DH Lee, this will be our 3rd cruise but our others have been both 4 nighters so we are looking forward to relaxing and taking our time to explore everything on the ship.

There is lots of info on the first page of this thread, lots of things we are all organising that you can join in with if you wish. Have a read and if you have any questions then i'm sure someone on here will know the answer. :goodvibes

Hi Sarah and family and welcome aboard. We are Sarah and Tony from Wales and it is our 2nd Transatlantic Disney cruise ... we loved the first one so much :cloud9::cloud9:
