It's lovely and hot in barcelona and has been since Weds, unfortunately we missed the Hard Rock meet tonight as we fell asleep....too much alcohol and pain medication for me - oops!!!!

usual hassle during weigh in's - check in did not weigh carry on's but the sneaky brigade are at the entrance to the security area to pounce on unsuspecting passengers - my MIL's case was singled out and the aer Lingus staff popped it into the frame to see if it fitted - no go she said as she tried it wheels first - I had to come back out and I flipped it over and it fitted no problem - wheels first ??? very suspicious ?? what case will fit those frames wheels first?? Any how that was the last bridge to cross apart from the screens displaying the flight closed 20 mins before it was stated on the boarding card - talk about a sprint to the gate - my MIL is 73 and she was nearly ready to pass out and when we got there it had'nt even started to board.

There were quite a few red faced sweaty ppl too

Flight today from Dublin, over UK and France was perfect - should be nice and quiet tomorrow also - missed the hard rock meet ourselves - did'nt fall asleep but we were sooo tired from the very long day we would have needed to have been carried over - and we're just across the Plaza too LOL

Feel soo much more relaxed now though


Wish we had a pool - I really could do with a dip

safe travels everyone. waiting for my wakeup call from goofprincess. cruising is so much more fun with friends. will be seeing more friends in an hour waiting in line at the port and then 3 pm today.

need to pack electronics and run across the street for the ATM.

I think we all madeit aboard. Apparently, though, some luggage did notaccompany them. sinnika's got delayed in Lisbon. Fingers crossed that it will catch up with her today in sunny Gibraltar.

The ship looks good, as usual. CD is Peter. Captain John. BINGO Nat is now assistant CD - good for her. New BINGO queen is excellent, too.

Best guest singerslast night, Viva Voce, 4 guys from Europe, Australia. Wonderful concert; best special performance so far on cruises.
