really glad to be home and to have tomorrow off, just had dinner, and off upstairs in a bit with a glass of baileys and a new episode of dexter. good way to spend a friday night![]()
So I am trough more than 15 pages, because I wasn't on the forum for a couple of days. But I am back.
My father is passed away this week. Nothing dramatic. It was a releave, because he had very much pain. He was 88 years old and broke his hip and shoulder a couple of weeks ago. And after an operation, a new hip. But they couldn't do anything on the shoulder. And he was dementing too.
My sister en me have made all the arangements for the funeral so now I have some time for the forum. I can now focus on the cruise.
And ......no still no cabin assignements.
I am so sorry that Jacqueline doesn't go with us.
And thanks Auntlynne for the recap.
And flubber making I like it.
6 weeks and we go...it comes closer and closer.
Our condolences on the loss of your dad. I lost my dad a few years ago and it is always hard to loose a parent. So I am trough more than 15 pages, because I wasn't on the forum for a couple of days. But I am back.

We have started watching Dexter on DVD - all I can say is WOW. Just finished season 1 and are now 4 episodes into Season 2. Talk about addicting!
(No spoilers please - lalalalalalalalalalalala - plugging ears!)

I am hovering as there is nothing on tv tonight and I just found a lonely lil pot of haagen dazs in the freezer and a bottle of wine- the question is ....... What do I have first???
Ah, Karen--something else we have in common. I love Dexter. I'm not caught up on this season, but we can discuss what a great show it is. My sons Kevin and Steve got me into it. They noticed some of my reading material was a bit on the "dangerous" side, so they figured I could handle the adventures of a serial killer. Nice when the guys understand their mom.
Kevin told me that he did send the funds via Paypal, so I hope that is one that you got.
Wonder when they will get around to assigning our staterooms...next week, I hope.

We zoomed down the turnpike to Miami last time and I think it took 4+ hours. How long would it take to drive the route you are suggesting? It sounds nice. We are flying home from Miami again this time too.

We have never done Rockin Bar D but I am so looking forward to it on this cruise.![]()
I have only ever done Karaoke once - never again!!! Well I suppose it depends on how drunk I am and how many others will sing with me.![]()

Can someone tell me how I could get that logo that so many of you have - Taking the Magic Home, with the dates of our trip and the picture of the ship, etc, in a form where I could actually print it? TIA
Here's what I did... not sure if I did it right but it worked. 1st I made a photobucket account. It's free and all and I'll use it when on post other pictures on the boards. 2nd I found a photo that I wanted... I happened to use one that is on someone else's signature and I copied it to my desk top. 3rd I uploaded that photo to my photobucket account. 4th I added it to my signature with the Insert Image feature.
It took me all of a minute or so to do everything I just typed. Actually, I think it took longer to type it than it did to actually put the picture in my signature.
Does that help?
