What is is telling you when you try to look at it?

It doesn't give any message, it just won't let me click on the folder to view it.

You could register for a free account with photobucket.com and upload them that way, then you just paste the image code onto here and they should show up in your post. :thumbsup2

What a great idea! I would have never thought to have a pillow case be signed. such an easy item to pack. I'll definitely be suggesting this item to friends in the future.

For those in the Gibraltar FE group, I may be "gifting" something than can be signed.

Here are some of the items I had signed on our first cruise, I can't find the Dream one's at the moment as i'm on Lee's laptop:

One tip I picked up was to give a mixture of coloured Sharpies rather than just black, it looks nicer. :thumbsup2

Gahhhh! That looks amazing. I'm hoping more people fill up the brunch group 3 or I can get a ressie for the brunch.

It is amazing, they keep filling it up so you can eat as much as you like! ;)

I hope you manage to get a reservation. :wizard:

Ureeka!!! I finally got one to load. Goodness gracious that took forever to figure out. These are in no particular order. I am just glad they loaded.

I've never done a scrapbook before, but I've decided I want to make one for this trip. I've picked up some paper, borders, and embellishments, and I've got a couple of extra packages of the chipboard embellishments from Joann's that were posted a while back. I also bought some pretty Disney paper - it was on clearance, so I grabbed all the sheets they had!

I'm not signed up for the scrapbook exchange, but I'll trade the paper and extra embellishment packages for some advice and tips on how to make this thing. I don't want to crash the exchange, so maybe I can meet up with a couple of you in the Cove Cafe or Promenade Lounge at some point for a lesson.

Pat, I go here a lot to find inspiration for scrapbooking http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/gallery/projects/disney-theme/sortby-most-liked/ the link will take you specifically to Disney scrapbooking, but check around for more themes or just general scrapbooking if you like.

Sure thing Pat, it would be good to have a little meet.

Tomorrow i'll take a few pics of pages i've made to show you and hopefully give you a few ideas. I should say i'm no expert, i've not fully completed many scrapbooks but I have fun making pages and I guess that's what counts. :) I have loads of paper & photo's printed ready to go but i'm so far behind that I don't know where to start....i'm guessing I should just work backwards from the latest holiday or i'll never catch up.

We will definitely have a little get together in Cove Cafe, there were some people on the scrapbook exchange that wanted to get together so once all the tastings etc are booked with dcl we can arrange a time. :thumbsup2

I don't know of anyone who isn't behind on scrapbooking .. just par for the course it seems  A little scrapbook get together sounds fun :goodvibes

For those in the Gibraltar FE group, I may be "gifting" something than can be signed.

Sounds cool Noel :goodvibes

Make sure you use fabric markers or laundry sharpies so it doesn't wash out (regular sharpies eventually will)

...Just not sure what to make it out of, paper/full magnet etc. as we have tested writing on a magnet and it just doesnt work. Any suggestions?...

How about:
  • printing Trevor's photo on photopaper
  • print the rest on cardstock
  • attach the photo
  • put magnetic sheet on the back - full size so it stays flat (one side is sticky to adhere to the cardstock)

...I think I got it all now after several false starts, 14 nights is alot to keep straight! ...

That is exactly what I was hoping for. Got last year's WBTA info off the net (someone had posted the Navigators).

I just like to compare to see what might be themes - for example, "It's a Small World" dinner (that was on the EBTA '10) or the return of "Golden Mickeys" (on the Wonder - I think Villains Tonight has bumped it off the Magic). Had considered using Small World fabric or golden satin to make a dress if either of these had been showing up as options. ... Maybe "It's a Small World" was on the Med cruise last year; I did it B2B with the TA and can't separate the two cruises in my memory very well.

Anyway, thanks a :flower3: :flower3: :flower3: :flower3: for sitting there :surfweb: and typing in the info.

Did you finally go to sleep?

Warms my heart that you saved those name tags. They were fun to make. Haven't gotten out my cold laminator and done anything like that since last year. Rather miss the arts and crafts.

Bit of a difficult day today, last night a 54kg weight fell on my foot and i ha a xray today and I have a hairline fracture. Didnt help that when I told my boss this morning I couldn't get into work as my foot was injured and even my trainer wouldnt go on his reaction was "not on, wear flipflops I cant get cover on such short notice"!!!! Surely not good management

Oh hunny, I'm sorry! That must really hurt!

Years ago I stepped off a curb (sober, no less) and badly bruised my foot. I went to the ER the next day and they told me it was broken in two places and I would need to stay off it for two weeks. The first thing I said is that I'd be back in the next day, as I was sure as soon as I told my boss this news that she would kill me. She was NOT happy.

I went in much earlier than I should have, and the broken foot gave me trouble for YEARS. So stay off it best you can! Tell your boss it's not an option.

Welcome all new cruisers!

I think this time around I will not have as many dress up clothes and formals... with out DH I won't be doing so many pics. So keeping it simple. I will bring a semi formal but not a long one. If you see me in the same dress... just pretend you haven't already seen it....:rotfl2::rotfl2: So that means less shoes!:rotfl:QUOTE said:
I think this should be a rule! I too will have to recycle my evening dresses.:rotfl:

Sorry about your foot..... hope it gets better very soon.. :crutches:

Be sure if you use something like a pillowcase or T-shirt that you take colored permanent markers so it does not wash out. I like the colored ones best because it gives it a more playful look....

For those in the Gibraltar FE group, I may be "gifting" something than can be signed.

Can't wait to see what that is :ccat:

I am glad that it warms your heart. We had a great time on the cruise last year and you guys were a big part of the reason for it. It wouldn't be an accurate scrapbook if I didn't include you guys in it. And the It's a Small world theme must have been on the Med because I don't remember that theme last year.

I still have my name tag too that you made for the ebta last year & I didn't even make a scrapbook (although all the components are safely squirreled away from every cruise, waiting for the day when I might, along with all my son's pics & childhood memorabilia...he's 19 now)........um.... but anyway, it is my favorite name tag from all of our cruises & I actually bring it with me to other cruises because I love the shape and the way the names show so easily and clearly. So, thanks again!! :hippie:

Also Mic... I got your msg but DIS won't let me respond because they say I'm not allowed to, but.... oddly they included your email in a link & told me that was fine to email you there....?? So, whatever, lol, I followed the link & answered, but don't know if it's someplace you will normally look...too weird! :rotfl:

I plan on scrapbooking a bunch while we're at sea. I'm bringing some different idea books with me so if you want to get together just let me know. Once I see how big my room is we could even do it there while Lorelei takes a nap one day :goodvibes

http://www2.snapfish.com/snapfish/t...otsc=SHR/otsi=SALBlink/COBRAND_NAME=snapfish/ Here is the link to the scrapbook pages that I have done. I can't get it to work to actually post any of them on here so this is the best I could do. Not all of the writing is finished on it but at least most of the stuff is on these pages to give people ideas.
Those pages are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing. I think I did see your husband at DHS on the 4th but he was being bombarded with people at the time because he was in charge of an entrance so we didn't bother him.

Sure thing Pat, it would be good to have a little meet.

AHHHH sweet memories. I cannot wait for this! Last time James had to practically roll me out. :rotfl:

WOW....I go away overnight and return home to 10 pages...then I see most are from Seamour :goodvibes...too funny!
:welcome: to the new cruisers. What an amazing trip this will be :thumbsup2.

DD and I talking about FEE gifts, we LOVE to make things together!

Actually, DD is in TX and is making a gift for her Grandma and cousin (staying in another cabin) to give out; she's very talented with a sewing machine, which is a skill my mother passed down (skipping over me completely). I'm in PA, making a non-sewing gift (you'll all thank me...no crooked seams or sloppy stitches ). But we love talking about all things cruise-related, incl. the gift exchanges. This is their first DCL experience, so it's all new and very exciting.

I dont know if this is what you looking for.

THANKS!

Since we've come back from WDW this is what I've heard the last few days from Lorelei. "I meet Cinderella. I meet Belle. I big hug Beast. I meet Mickey Mouse. I eat Cinderella's Castle." Obviously she's 2 so we don't have our past tense down and we get to hear the same phrases over and over again but it's nice to know we're raising our Disney fan properly. :rotfl:

Clearly, your parenting skills are impeccable :). What a cutie!

We are both childminders (home daycare providers) and we have a big fluffy bear dressed as a pirate that the children named Trevor. He is a travelling bear that goes away on holiday with them and they take lots of photos and he and they have lots of fun together.

Your children are very fortunate to have Trevor to take on trips with them. What a great idea to help them transition back and forth. Of course, we'll sign your magnet (and any others that appear on our door).

Pat, we'll see you at palo brunch too :woohoo: we are in at 11.30 :cool1:

And if you all linger at dessert long enough :rolleyes1, we'll see you at the 3pm tea! :lmao:
