We're those the Siege Tunnels or WWII Tunnels?

They were the Siege Tunnels. I think the WWII tunnels were nearby - there was another tunnel that we could go in further down our hike on the rock too, but we didn't enter it.

My experience is tea is the most difficult to book prior to and once on board. They have limited servers so less amount of people to accommodate. I was able to get my tea but that was due to my early booking window. Hoping it all works out for those wanting the tea:wizard::wizard:

Thanks for your input, it sounds like a long shot so I won't get my hopes up. But I will keep my fingers crossed.

Wow you guys are chatty! My husband and I did the EB TA last year and I would consider it one of the best vacations I have ever taken in my life. I can't believe you all are so far into thread number 4! We are on the verge of taking this cruise. Just trying to work out some work conflicts on my husbands end but we are about 85% of the way to booking. Can I just say I am already jumping up and down with excitement.:cool1::yay:

We also did the EBTA last year and had a marvelous time. Hope you guys can book soon, it looks like the rates are pretty low....wish we had waited this long to book since Disney will not let us refare or add $$ to upgrade our booking to a nicer category w/ new lower rates.

Just back from World Market on a little shopping excursion. They had both ginger Altoids and chewy ginger candy; we picked up one of each to see how we like them and we may bring them along on the cruise to head off queasiness.

I also picked up a package of McVitie's milk chocolate Digestives, which we got on our last trip to Europe. We'll be breaking into those tonight. :thumbsup2

I saw all sorts of Cadbury chocolate imported from the UK (including the jumbo buttons of dairy milk that someone mentioned here previously), but it was all very expensive so we didn't get any. Also saw the Bounty bar (which appeared to be the US' Mounds bar) and the UK Kit Kat, but I am not sure if the UK Kit Kat is the same as it is here. It seemed thicker and heavier than the US version.

I saw some chocolate bar that had a slogan on it that said "IT'S NOT FOR GIRLS!" - can't remember the name of it. What is that all about?

I found Disney character whiteboards today at Target at the $1 spot! I bought several with the intention of using them as FE items but now with everyone searching for them I'm wondering if I should just offer them up here instead? They're all either Toy Story or Cars themed!

Keri

Speaking of High Tea ..... I came across these pics on the boards and thought I would share...

After looking at these photos, I may have to give tea another try - it looks way better than I remember it being.

The site I was using is CustomInk.com and they do have some items that don't require a minimum order:

http://www.customink.com/categories/t-shirts/97/styles

We could upload the art that Lynne did and order a single shirt, but it looks like they are kind of expensive (around $22 each). You may want to look at Vistaprint or Zazzle to see if it is cheaper?

Chris

From Vistaprint, this ladies' shirts is about $11 + shipping. I think this is a special price (probably the 1/2 price weekend rate - I got my rate in an email for those with accounts.)

The image was done in MS Word '04, converted to PDF and imported to iPhoto, then uploaded to photobucket. Still wondering why I haven't gotten and learned a better way to make graphics.

You could just print it on transfer paper and make your own inexpensive shirt. Wal-mart has thick nice quality t-shirts right now for making tie-dye shirts for $7.

This is just an option for those who are not beer drinkers. If you see anybody with a shirt on with any graphic you have seen on this forum, you will know they are one of us.

we have two main types of kit kats, the normal 4 finger one, and the big fat kit kat chunky. i prefer the original ones personally

the "not for girls" is a yorkie. its the slogan they started as part of an advertising campaign a few years back and it kinda stuck. think they we're trying to market it at men, saying it was too big and chunky for girls. i challenge any man to be able to eat a bar as quickly as i can! :rotfl:

Wish I could've gotten into Palo tea! [/B]

Does anyone know if they keep some of the reservations to be made onboard? We found this was true w/ the brunch reservations, but I didn't know about the tea - any experiences successfully booking tea onboard?

From what I remember last WBTA, I am sure everyone who wanted any of the Palo meals got them. When you get onboard on the 10th, go straight to Rockin Bar D, go to the Palo line and book one. If by the time you get there the bookings have gone, then go on the waitlist. They will phone you when they have cancellations.

Hello guys!

My DH and I will be in Barcelona the 8th of september for two nights :goodvibes
We will be staying at Acta Ink Hotel (near Sagrada Familia)

I can't wait to visit the city !!

We'd like to join the meeting in HardRock Cafe the night before the cruise, can we be added ??
Thanks :)

Hazel has had her crafty hat on this afternoon and has turned a dull Poundland whiteboard into a super Mickey shaped whiteboard with matching pen!!!
Thought we'd share her work, sorry about the size of photo, shouldve made it smaller!!!! :rotfl:

This is really cool .... we don't have a poundland anywhere near but we do have a poundstretcher, so I will check that out.

That would be a Yorkie .... it was marketed at truck drivers a few years ago ... and I think this came from then. The Yorkie isn't the nicest chocolate bar in the world though.

Thank you all for your support and understanding re the Gibraltar Dolphin tour. After reading all your comments I have decided that I really don't feel I could trust this company with a group booking and rely on them to deliver on the day, so to avoid any stress and disappointment, I am going to tell them we are cancelling the group booking. If anyone wishes to make their own arrangements then that is fine. Sorry about this, but they clearly do not want our business :mad::mad: I will contact everyone who has signed up and remove the list from page 2.

I think you've done the right thing Sarah. I agree with everything you've said.
