My DH and I will be in Barcelona the 8th of september for two nights
We will be staying at Acta Ink Hotel (near Sagrada Familia)

I can't wait to visit the city !!

We are stopping at an Acta hotel too but not the same one, the Acta Atrium Palace. We are closer to Las Ramblas. You will love the city, we did. Only there for the 2 nights this time, were there for 4 last year. Still plenty left to see and I think we will go back for a longer trip sometime.

I found Disney character whiteboards today at Target at the $1 spot! I bought several with the intention of using them as FE items but now with everyone searching for them I'm wondering if I should just offer them up here instead? They're all either Toy Story or Cars themed!

You also have these wonderful cookies - the stroopwaffel Oh dear...I ate my weight in them last fall. I know they aren't chocolate, but they are definitely worth mentioning.

Yep, another one of those many typical things. Actually, if you want any just give me a heads up at least 3 weeks or so prior to the cruise. As it is, I don't like them and nobody in the family eats them anymore after having had too many. One of the suppliers of my medical stuff somehow decided it was a to sent a bag of stroopwafels with EACH order you do. Somehow proud themselves in being located in a city with good stroopwafels and thinking this is good promo or something? All I know is that we're getting a bit stroopwafel-crazy because of almost 5 years of that. I tend to order once a month and when doing vacationorders, they tend to ship that in 2 shippings. Which would come down to at least 3 or 4 bags of stroopwafels that we can't even look at anymore. If I can make you happy with them; be my guest by all means!


And, how succesfull were the last people with making their ressies apart from Palo?


*getting a whip of bananasmell into my nose which reminds me, the bananas should be overripe enough tomorrow to make a new batch of Parrot Cays bananabread. *

Thank you all for your support and understanding re the Gibraltar Dolphin tour. After reading all your comments I have decided that I really don't feel I could trust this company with a group booking and rely on them to deliver on the day, so to avoid any stress and disappointment, I am going to tell them we are cancelling the group booking. If anyone wishes to make their own arrangements then that is fine. Sorry about this, but they clearly do not want our business I will contact everyone who has signed up and remove the list from page 2.

My DH tweaked Lynne's design to match the beer one. Vistaprint is having a weekend sale and I just uploaded this design and it is $10.49, if people want to order their own. I have not worked with Vistaprint, so if someone knows how to make this available for people to buy, let me know, but on your own it is much cheaper than say Zazzle or CafePress.

Because we are in Skopje, I cannot send anything to you all, but I offer the image and you can make your own.

I have been waiting to do this for WEEKS and now I can finally book and they are doing maintenance!! So tomorrow I have a one hour window to get my kids ready and off to school, get myself ready and off to work, and book all my cruise stuff!!! HOW FRUSTRATING

I've been suffering with a sore throat, ear ache etc for a few days then last night we went to see Jimmy Carr and all the laughing has left me with no voice at all today.

Lee is loving it! He said it's the best birthday present ever!

It really sucks. Remember when you get on to do your reservations, go straight for the thing you want to do that might be the hardest to get. For me that is usually High Tea. Then I go to Brunch. Also Don't forget to confirm your selected events. I have heard of cruisers not actually doing that and so being totally shocked when they find out later they don't have any reservations.

We are doing some light cleaning now - hopefully done in about 45 minutes! And then I'm going to make some blueberry jam. Its my first time doing canning, so I hope it works out okay, I'm a little nervous about it.

Later we're going to Best Buy. We decided last night to get Magic Jack for the phone, Netflix and Hulu for the tv and something else that allows us to watch those things on the tv not just on the computer, and we're going wireless and cancelling our cable & phone service. Whew! It sounds like a lot but its mostly my husband's doing. I'm just excited that I can stream some Disney movies on Netflix!!

I am feeling pleased with myself today... I have now managed to lose 1 st 2lbs .... but it's taken me over 2 mths to do so. But I just bet it won't take me that long to put it back on once I'm on the cruise. Never mind will just have to keep trying to lose some more sometimes ladies life is just one long diet.... or that's what it feels like !

Good luck on the canning! I remember we used to do a lot of it when I was a kid, especially apricots!

Just a heads up for everyone who has not ordered or paid for a pin. I need to pay for the pins on June 30, 2011 so that will be the last day I will take payments for pins. If you have not ordered or paid for you pin, please do by June 30.

If you want to order a pin, they are 5 Euros each and must be paid for on my PayPal account which is birkner@needinfo.com and if you indicate the payment is a gift, the only fees you may have to pay is to convert to Euros if your principal currency is not Euros.

I will order a few extra pins but I can not guarantee you will have a pin if you do not order and pay for your pin by June 30!
