SHAG, aka joSH AGle, is an artist that started doing a lot of limited edition prints for Disney a few years ago. If you search "disney shag" on ebay you can see a lot of his stuff. I think it started as part of the 50th anniversary of Disneyland, but I'm not 100% positive.

Actually there are quite a few - Krisann and Lynne were both onboard as well as a couple of other people. I guess once you go TA, you never go back

I have received several messages and requests from people who believe they signed up because they mentioned it in the thread or on Facebook, but those posts are too easy to miss, which is why I have asked everyone who wishes to participate to PLEASE send me a PM (or a Visitor message if you have fewer than 10 posts).

You aren't being difficult at all. Some of us have been away from this thread for a while so are a little behind in the planning and have probably missed or forgotten some things. I am actually really glad and relieved that the private FE group was created or else I would have assumed that I have been a part of the FE all along and then would have been disappointed if we found out too late and missed out.
There are a few others that I know that haven't been on the thread for awhile that I will make sure to mention this too as well.

Ditto!! I know that had to be a logistical challenge! And I hear you about PMs... I think my box stays right at capacity because I saved everyone's Tortola request - just keep their names only on the spreadsheet and front page here on this thread. With all the posts here, on FB, and the WBTA signup page, a PM here on DISboards has been the only way to keep up with it all - especially with such a chatty group. :lmao

My next step will be matching actual names to DIS names so that people can show some sort of ID at the dock to confirm they are who they are - especially since there are 64 of us and lots of boats at the dock in Tortola. (Will start by using FB page for name matching and contact via PM those I don't know) That way it is easier for the guys at the charter company to check us off by name versus DIS name when paying at checkin.

By the way -- our Tortola list is still the same barring any further cancellations and moving standbys up -- but of course we reached our original capacity in March. We will be split into two catamarans (one power, one sail) for the ride to/from Jost VanDyke:

$50 (ages 12+), $40 (ages 3-11), Free (under 3 years) - description above of what they include
Payment is in US Dollars (cash) or Traveler's Checks at the dock, directly to the catamaran company.
Comparable DCL Excursion (DCL includes lunch and some water activities): "Jost VanDyke Beach Day" ($105 for adults, $75 for kids)

Oh no... thought I would actually look at who signed up for Tortola excursion on the WBTA webpage (that was created AFTER we reached max capacity on the catamarans for our DIS Jost VanDyke excursion) and notice a name I have never seen before...


If you are wanting to be added to the STANDBY list for any CANCELLATIONS, please send me a private message here on the DISboards. I need to know adults, children, infants, and will update you on the front page of this thread, putting each new name at the bottom of the standby list.

Clicking it on the WBTA webpage does not mean you are signing up... that is just a means to let people know you are going (not signing up). Mentioning it in a post or reply to a post on Facebook does not mean signing up. The only way to sign up for the standby list is to send me a PM. I keep all PMs so we have no confusion.

I'm going to figure out the search feature here on DIS to try to send messages out. The official list of who is on the catamarans is on the front page of this thread.

Like Pat... sorry to be a pain... but we reached capacity in March and have been adding and updating standbys when we have cancellations. The only way to sign up for standby is to send me a PM. Thanks so much for understanding.
