Do you carry your CPAP onboard as carryon for the flights? Or do you risk checking it? I've never checked it, but it sure would be nice. I guess it is better to do carryon "just in case...." plus it is free allowance being medical.

For cpap users remember to bring an extension cord. There are no plugs by the bed so you will have to plug into the vanity desk area. DCL charges a deposit for there extension cords that u get back when you return it. We now just keep an extension cord in his case:thumbsup2

me and gary would be interested, but would actually prefer to do only one dive as we'd still like to see some of the island too. anybody interested in just one?

The two tank dive would be for a boat dive should we get the 6 or more people. The 115.00+10.00 rental I quoted is for this option. He also mentioned a possible beach dive option if we did not make the numbers so you could easily do just one tank. I would think that if some wanted to do one tank and others wanted two we could all just go for the beach dive and do the ones we want. I do not have beach dive pricing but could ask if the interest were there.

Are there any other divers interested in either option?

Thanks,

On my list! Gotta love the DIS taking care of each other. :grouphug:

I will probably have one of my carry ons be a small wheeled tote that the case can fit in, and then I will bring it with me. I don't sleep well without it, but I think I can get through a night if it means that I don't have to worry about a conversion kit. I think I will just ask Disney for an extension because I don't want to have to pack that if I can borrow it for free. They sell distilled water on board, right?

Not sure about the distilled water, my DH doesn't use the water compartment

I read somewhere a while back that we can ask for distilled water onboard.

I'm like y'all... can make it through the night, but tell the next day that I am more tired. Heck, I can tell when my humidifier is out of water! LOL.

Question about transfers once we arrive back in Port Canaveral:

We have port --> airport transfers booked when we return. The ship docks at 7:30 and we don't have a flight until 4:45pm!

Obviously we don't want to go to the airport at 8am. Do we have any options to go to, say, Downtown Disney or something and then take DCL transportation to the airport from there instead?

Hi Chris

We have booked a day room at the Hyatt. We did'nt fancy hanging around in the terminal especially with having Sam (DS3) it would of beeen a nightmare :scared1:. We have us of all the facilities so we can have a swim and freshen up before we fly.

I'm in a similar boat. I checked to see how much it would cost to rent a car from the Port to the Airport (with a detour to Downtown Disney or Harry Potter) and it was about $80. Then I checked a rental directly from the airport and it was about $20. I'm planning on taking the DCL transport to the airport and then renting a car. It might be a little extra time but it will save me a little bit of money.

OIA is a nice airport, with lots of shopping including a Disney, Universal and Sea World store. I could definitely handle hanging out there for a few hours...

:goodvibes THANK YOU ALL! :goodvibes

I have read & appreciated every one of your birthday messages today on here & on facebook, but I thought it would drive you all loopy if I multi-quoted and replied to each one individually. :lmao: So a HUGE thank you, i've had a fab day & even managed a bit of clothes shopping for the cruise. :dance3: I guess I won't be the one wandering around in just my one top & sandals. ;)

If you get to bluewater before three come into disney and say hi :)

I didn't realise you were in the Bluewater store now! :headache: I was in about 1.30 - 2 ish I think.....I would have come & said hello if i'd seen your message before I went.
