we drive by Disney University all the time on our way to dinner at the MK resorts, hopefully someday i will get to go there!!

.... her mum thinks we have joined some kind of online cult group and have to give hundreds of people gifts to get on board!!! :lmao:

Oh dear........... bless her, she is in her 70s, so doesnt understand the ways of the world wide web!!

:lmao: I love this story!

A few times DH has felt I joined a cult because I spend so much time on the DIS, the meets, the FB pages for our DCL cruises.....but on the ebta he had to admit that we met some awesome travel buddies!!!!

:woohoo:

Just wanted to share this with you all as it gave me a little :rotfl:

My DP was telling her mum about our cruise and that we had been conversing on a forum with people doing the same trip and about the activities organised etc.
She didnt have much to say on the matter, but found out tonight after talking to her sister that her mum thinks we have joined some kind of online cult group and have to give hundreds of people gifts to get on board!!! :lmao:

:laughing: Awww....poor Mum!:laughing: I guess it could be a little confusing.

I think the plan is to just make the artwork available and then everyone can purchase their own shirt in whatever style and color they would like. People had mentioned before that some don't like t-shirts so they'd want to pick out something that better suits them.

I know that Dan (Cliffy97) and I would like to get ours on a ringer t-shirt, so I'll probably be ordering those for Jeremy and I and Dan & Bruce.

There are many websites for digital printing of T-shirts; if someone can point me in the right direction of which one is best so everyone regardless of location can order theirs, that would be great. Ideally it would be one that has an arm in the UK and other points in Europe too.

Ideally I'd like to be able to set it up as a "stock" shirt that people could go to this company's website, choose their shirt color and size and just order it.

Is it to late to get in on the Ringer T action? If so, XL.....trust your judgement on colors, etc. Please PM me if you need an advance payment. Looking forward to it.

PRICELESS! :lmao::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Oh that is EXACTLY what I'm dreaming of! I like bitter dark chocolate, so I think I'm gonna fall in love! Thanks for the pic. I think I may have licked the screen in my excitement.

I've already started to google where to find that in Barcelona! :rotfl2: I have a former student over there right now... I may have to send her the pic and have her keep her eyes out! :thumbsup2

Oh my!!!! I could just dive in head first! :cloud9: Mmmmm.... I absolutely loved the churros with chocolate last time we were there.

Yes the chocolate is not super sweet - more like a warm chocolate pudding really, but not creamy. The churros were really good the first time we had them, but when we went back the second night I think we had had our fill - they can be a teensy bit greasy, but are great for soaking up alcohol after a night of crawling the tapas bars.....ahem....not that I would know anything about that of course :littleangel:

I like the churros there but I think I might prefer the Mexican style churros that are covered w/ sugar and cinnamon.

Here are links to a few pages that mention where "the best" churros y chocolate places are in Barcelona:

Just a note - I had my churros in Madrid, so I am not familiar with any of the places. However, upon reading the second page, I am very intrigued as to what a granja is - a milk bar sounds really interesting to me. I LOVE the Horchata drink that you can get in Spain and Mexico, and I'll be a granja would have it. I may have to check that place out!

Sure, I'll let everyone know when we get to that stage and I have some ordering options!

Noel, I ordered/paid for two pins through PayPal today. Thanks!

I did get a payment from you today. Thank you very much!! I will try to have a pin list posted early next week. I have BIL down visiting for doctors visits so a bit behind again.

Update: Here is where we are with the t-shirts so far.

We are still finalizing the design but I wanted to pass this on to get feedback.

NOTE: I have asked him to add "2011" below the words "pub crawl" so that will be reflected in the final design.

I will have more info on ordering shirts very soon!

Cool im in for 1 !

We had churros and chocolate in Madrid when we were there in May. It is a very thick sort of pudding chocolate that you could drink, but is better with a spoon.

The place to get it is at a Chocolateria. So if you see one of those, pop in for some churros con chocolate.

Here is a photo:

But as a rule we find the spanish chocolate not sweet enough for our tastes.

Ooooh, I'm gonna get me one of those!

Is this bad I have only had chocolate from the us.

There is a lot of US chocolate that is good, I love Sees and Godiva (technically Belgian but made in the US) and Ghiradelli. I'm sure you've tried chocolate from other countries. Do these little Italian pieces of heaven look familiar to you

Okay, I have had like one sip of beer ever in my life, but these shirts make me want to start beer! We need a "Mickey's Wine Flight" tshirt and I'd be all in!!! (Or "Having a FAB time with Mickey" --- in honor of Pat's FABs...)

hint hint hint... ;)

Poohluv, join in! No one will care if you're drinking a Coke or water...it'll be a fun group activity regardless of everyone's drink of choice!
