Thank you for creating the fab website.

How do we add ourselves to things on the website ....![]()
So I did a GTY Oceanview because it seemed like a great price. If they are having a problem getting to capacity, and they drop the price before the cruise I will feel really disappointed. For those of you experienced DCL cruisers (this is my first time), any chance they will upgrade me to a Verandah vs. selling it to someone for less than I paid for an OV?
This is the reason we bit the bullet and upgraded nowThere really is no rhyme no reason to how DCL do upgrades. When all the room allocations happen, about 40 days or so out, it usually causes upset with some people as it all seems so unfair. But, that is how they work.
So, don't expect an upgrade. It might happen, but most likely it won't. We always go for the category we want in the first place, even if it means we lose out money wise over the course of waiting for the cruise.
On a couple of cruises they sent out offers of paid upgrades a couple of weeks before room allocation time which some people took advantage of, but though we were offered an old Cat 4 for $600 more(we had an old Cat 6), we didn't think it worth it for just 3 feet extra to our stateroom for just the 2 of us.

Claire - we haven't been given any dates yet for either of the tastings...so if you get a date for the champagne meet I will arrange the tastings around that aswell as the breakfast etc.
Just a heads up with the tastings. Last year they changed at least one last minute. Also I don't think they do the room/time allocations till quite close to the cruise date. I know it was very annoying to people on the PC earlier this year. I think they like to wait until they have all the requests in, plus they work on the earlier cruises first of course.
It is all such a pain when you all want the dates so you can plan!! I hope they change tack and get on and allocate. I just didn't want you all to get annoyed and cross!!!
I hear what you're saying Claire...I was just going to give her the dates we said and then see what she came back with.
So I could give her the 15th, 16th, 18th or 19th I know that the breakfast it on the 18th but depending on what time the tastings are it shouldn't pose a problem should it?
Also I know people are going to be booking Palo Brunch & High tea's for the sea days..hopefully![]()
This is true Claire...unfortunately it's all in DCL's hands, hopefully it won't upset too many.Yeah I think the 18th is ok too as the PJ brekkie is at 10am so any drinks tastings in the afternoon would be ok.
I guess we kind of have to go with whatever DCL can give us and if it means one or two can't make it then there isn't much we can do, it will be difficult to please everyone.![]()
Hiya
Just had a quick read at the posts during my tea break.
My two pence worth, if we do all these activities in the afternoons, then we will all be fine for palo brunch in the morning and then a DIS activity in the afternoon and have no clashes
With the exception of the PJ breakfast of course![]()
Mary what time is Palo High Tea usually?
