Sarah, how long did it take you guys? I was hoping it would only take an hour .. maybe that's wishful thinking :confused3 We are using C25K as a way to get our weight under control, with the CC 5K as our goal. Most likely we will only do it the one time as well ;)

It only took me about 47 mins to do the walk, ( and the ones who ran were quicker ) but then we had to go back to the ship for shower etc and by the time we got back to Castaway Cay it was after 11am. I am glad we did it as we did it to raise money for charity, but this time I feel I want to relax !!

Great photos of the Wonder Noel. :thumbsup2

Has everyone seen the news about Bin laden? Wow, what a night!

Yes, what great news to wake up to this morning!!!!

Well done to the US Special forces. In fact well done to all our troops, the American & British Forces for continuing to fight for our countries.

It's a shame you won't be able to get to MNSSHP Claire.:(

Fantastic photos of the Wonder Noel & John! I really wanted to do the 7 night pacific cruise next year.

We're just watching the news about Bin Laden!

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 well said, second that !

Brilliant photos of the Wonder :thumbsup2

Good news Bin Laden is dead, just a bit worried about any reprisals that may occur.

We are in training for running the 5K on Castaway Cay, we will be the ones at the back of the group

How fun to see the Wonder in SF, I would love it if they had stopped somewhere in Oregon :cloud9:

Are they having the 5k on Castaway Cay while we are there? I hadn't heard that one! Would love to know! Thanks!:goodvibes

Lynne, I hope you stay safe until the storms are over.

Noel, I just love John's photos of the Wonder and the Golden Gate bridge :thumbsup2

Ditto on both comments!

I was tutoring via Skype and hubby was watching tv with our older daughter in another room. When I finished tutoring, I clicked over to Facebook and saw all the new status messages there. Went to tell hubby, and of course the breaking news did not interrupt the Disney channel! When 9-11 happened, we were just dating, but all of our roommates in each of our houses worked for an airline (and I had until the year prior) so we were glued to the news like everyone else around the world. A day we will never forget. I have been wanting to make a 10-year anniversary of 9-11 shirt for the cruise.

Great photos of the Wonder Noel. :thumbsup2

Love the pictures, Noel! And very well said about our servicemen!

I think we will skip MNSSHP and head on back home, but I have already blocked some time to go back in November for the Christmas party. Hoping November may be slightly warmer than December (at least looking at averages and records...).

wow amazing photo's. would love to do that cruise, for anyone not booked yet, disney us has announced free dining for aug and sept this year, it finishes on the 24th sept very handy for us leaving the cruise, susie

Fabulous pics of the Wonder! That's the only ship we've been on, so we have fond feelings for it.

I was up late last night and saw the news. Kudos to all our troops!

But I have to admit, my second thought (after "All right!! They got him!!") was about potential reprisals. Killing him (not that I think he didn't deserve it) makes him a martyr to the extremists. Better if they could have caught him and thrown him in a deep dark hole (w/o media access) for the rest of his life. Don't get me wrong, though, I'm glad our guys took care of him!!

Did anyone hear if they ever found the Disney cast member that was missing from her ship a month or two ago? I never heard any more on the subject.

No, but apparently there was a report in a UK paper that her credit card has been used. This has encouraged her parents who are still sure she isn't dead.

I didn't read the article, and have seen nothing else about it, I just read it on another Disney board.

Thanks Marilyn! I hope and pray she is not just doing this for the adventure of it and leaving all her friends/family to worry about her disappearance. While saying that, I also hope if this is against her will, that she is alive and well and will be able to go home soon.

I am particularly worried as DD and I are visiting the London American Embassy on Thursday ... probably not the best timing in the world.:scared1:

Great Idea!!

Thank and ditto!!

Thank you!! One of the cruisers told me she loved the Wonder better than the Magic but was having difficulty with a moldy odor in her stateroom. Ever heard of that problem before?

Try not to worry Sarah, I am sure that will be one of the safest places in the whole country at the moment.

I hadn't heard that, that is very strange!! I hope if she is still alive that she makes contact with them soon, I can't begin to imagine how they feel.
