I have seen them both ways. I think it is easier to keep them seperate bc not everyone particpates in the FE .... it could become confusing....just my opinion.

I understand but it seems people are chatting here to get to know each other lol and I think that is confusing if you are a newbie. Learning about anniversaries ans Palo are helpful for the chat thread I think. ; )

I agree with you. It seems as if the only people who post on both threads is the ones participating in the FE Exchange. The FE exchange people are the ones I would like to do a meet with, I want to put faces to the people I exchanged gifts with. I chat on both threads, depending on the topic or if I'm replying to someone.

I agree with you. It seems as if the only people who post on both threads is the ones participating in the FE Exchange. The FE exchange people are the ones I would like to do a meet with, I want to put faces to the people I exchanged gifts with. I chat on both threads, depending on the topic or if I'm replying to someone.

Oh thank you for replying!!! I just worry how this is set up that some good information might get lost in the mix... I want new peeps to be able to read all things and especially tips and such but not sure why we are using two threads for conversation. I don't care if people can make a meet onboard or not... The whole point is to enjoy the preparation and learn some possible good tips along the way. I will copy and past this to the other thread as well I guess because I do see this is double working LOL!!! FOr example I might be letting go of a BBB appointment and a Palo Dinner and I want someone else to be able to snatch it up... Regardless if they are FE meet n greet or just checking boards for good help!!!!!

Not necessarily... Many people enjoy chatting just online and if meeting great but not a requirement... IT is nice sharing information as well. Please check the other board regardless of if you want to meet someone or not. I have three kiddos and it is nice to hear other peoples experiences over the years and connect. I am not always able to participate in things on the boat since our family goes with usually a party of 10-16 people but occasionaly I do. I also have run the intro meets 2times (before the 3rd child )and enjoyed the connection and love just waving at people during the weeks when passing them
I was just concerned about information not making it to both threads that might be useful to everyone

I was thinkin an FE thread would only be names and room numbers and that was my only point at trying to comprehend this setup

Why don't we just make this thread for posting cabin numbers and names? All the other "chatting" can be done on the other thread.

If we keep this one to just names and cabin numbers, it will make it even easier to keep track of everyone on the master list. Especially as we get closer to sail date, I'm sure people will be posting a lot more. This will make it easier to find information instead of having to sort through pages to find stuff, especially if people don't get GTY assignments till 2 weeks out!!!

Can you sew just a few stitches? I have seen where people take the mini tote bags and sew them together to make an FE. Or you could get a small shoe organizer and decorate that?

Also try googling NO SEW FE, you might find a few that way, but I think you have to use heat & bond.

I ended up moving my Palo to 8:30 and I booked the tour with The NATIVE Choice. It is 50.00 per person and small groups the tour guide's dad found the ruins and he grew up there on the site.
