We are so looking forward to this cruise. We are still waiting for our room assignment. we booked a 5e Gty. we hope we can get the 5e since it has a extra large veranda. On the dream we had a 4a it was nice but I want a bigger veranda. we really enjoyed sitting out there eating breakfast or a enjoying a late snack. it doesn't get any better than sitting there with the one you love while watching the waves.

We have a 5e GTY, too. Seem to be a lot of GTYs still unassigned right now. I wonder if we will get an upgrade (last time we did VGT and ended up with a 4b!)...then again, this time I'm actually kind of hoping we don't!

I am organizing a list of everyone partipating in the FE, broken out by disboard name, cabin number, each persons name, age, gender and cabin number. If you PM me your email address, I will send out an updated list. Someone else here has volunteered to create a map of the deck plans highlighting each cabin so it's easier to find everyone's cabins. Thanks Jenn!

As for how many gifts to bring, that is up to you. There are a few threads, postings on the boards as to what people do for the FE exchange. Some give a gift to each person, some give a cabin gift to the adults, but most everyone gives something to each child.

I'm new to these boards and found this forum while looking for reviews on the fantasy....this sounds like fun but i was wondering what is a typical gift? Are the handmade items ir bought items? If its something you buy what's a typical budget people stick to?

The gifts can be either store bought or handmade.... Budget--- well it all depends on what you decide on.... Also, it depends on how many cabins want to participate... It took me some time to decide what I wanted to do but I am finally happy with my decision. Hope that helps....

With our latest additions (welcome, Heather!), I think we are around 25 cabins and something like 30 kids and 52 adults (not exact numbers). That's a lot of FE gifts to make or buy and carry in luggage (although I am having so much fun doing it!).

I believe the group initially had agreed to a deadline of July 15, but would there be support for closing the group at this point?
